"We believe that you've met this soldier First Corporal Snow Flake. I'm sure you would ask how we know all of this. Well on his first mission he didn't return as we expected, he was expendable, but not the soldiers Linus and Sapphire. We think that those 3 soldiers have been the first to be infected by the virus. And don't try to lie, witnessess from the Lunarian refugees you escorted have seen you with him. Now we need you to fill in the blanks." She added.

"I'm not talking about any combat spell. You should know that Snow Flake was just a pegasus and Linus's horn was broken off. I believe that it occurs to soldiers who have suffered a tragic loss or have an uncontrollable anger, but though had a large chance of being infected, it was your personality that kept you immune. Yes because you blinded yourself by some code you kept yourself from going berserk." Daybreak Belle replied as she got off of the chair.

Swift gave the pony a odd look "that is just rage and a urge for vengeance, if it was a infection both myself, you and your brother would be infected along with every single pony who fought in ponyville" he said as he layed down to rest.

"How does rage make your eyes a pure blood red color and give you the strength of a Manticore? If it was just pure rage then you Solarians would've lost this war already. Strangely the virus only targets certain soldiers and we still don't know who is the next victim of it. But you still haven't answered my question. Do you want to end this war?" Daybreak Belle said to Swift as she boiled a kettle and made some coffee.

Swift leaned back on his cage and looked at the stars ' I need to find a way out of here, Dusk and Sapphire must be worried sick, Lord Fancy Pants also' he thought as he then stroked the bandages on his right eye 'perhaps i should just focus on getting those soldiers out first'

"Being silent now are we? I told you that I would free these soldiers so they may go home if you just tell us everything about the magic barrier, but I can't guarentee their safety with my brother if you don't cooperate." She said to Swift with a disappointed look.

He walked around the Everfree forest, looking for the Lunar Republic camp. "Where is everypony? I cant be on anypony's side unless I find the main camp/base." He kept looking around for either someone in the lunar republic or the main base/camp

"Oh that was just a rune spell I was practicing." She replied to Scout's question. "No manticores living here, unless you count me as a maticore." She said chuckling a little.

He blushes, "I don't think you're a manticore..." Buck, I just insulted her runes. Awsome, way to go. 5 minutes alone with the girl and your already screwing up. You are such a moron, Scout. Maybe you should've made more of an effort to actually make friends at school. At least she said yes... You're getting somewhere.

Starbolt noticed Scout frown. "Is something wrong? I'm sorry if my joke wasn't funny." She told Scout. Her horn glowed and the marking on the floor faded, it was still visible but it was less noticeable.

Swift rested by the corner of his cage and began to observe the passing by patrols looking for any cracks and opening so that can escape and brake the rest of the prisoners with him. ' hhmmm there don't seem to be many ponies on patrol, they are most likely stretched thin after what happened in ponyville and there is only one guard watching my cage' he thought to him self before thinking about how much Dusk and Sapphire may likely be worried ' Buck it i'm braking out to night'.

"It's not you're fault!" he says hurriedly, "I was just, uh, just... Lovely view from up here!" he adds nervously. He kicked the ground and flushed. "Were you, um, hurt during the battle at all? I'm still, you know, under your comand so it's technically alright for me to get things for you."

As Pinkie continued to hop around the castle halls in search of Twilight, she never seemed to find her. She was with Rarity last time she saw her, which eventually led her to go in the direction of the prison which was specially built for the war.

Starbolt laughed a little and smiled. "I think I'm fine Scout. Well, since you are still under my command, you are ordered to keep me company here." She said smiling at him.

Fae rolled her eyes and flew out the window.

Swift notice the Luna solider patrol passing by. 'ok lets do this' Swift began to pull onto his collar and fell to the floor, "hey stand up dog" said the guard before he went into Swifts cage to check on him, and when he got close enough Swift jumped the guard and rapped his chain around the ponies neck 'come on pass out damn it' swift thought to himself as the guard continued to struggle before passing out .

"phew now let see what you have" Swift said to himself as he began to search the guard and put on his armor, once that was done Swift threw the covers over the pony and locked the cage as he left to find the other Solar Soldiers.

He smiled and blushed, "You're fairy seems to think that was predictable," he then turns more serious, "Starbolt, I want to make this clear to you. If you ever need something, even if I'm not under your command, don't hesitate to ask. You are all I have left."

Sapphire some how maniged to crall back to her home, she was sitting talking to dusk about the war "no no, ill be fine, dont worry, i just need rest, i used my magic to seal up the hole, we need to find your dad" Sapphire said grimly

Starbolt smilled. "I'm glad I can count on you Scout." She said hugging him. "So, how do you think we will take back Ponyville.?" She asked Scout hoping no more for no more bloodshed.

"We'll probably bring an overwhelming force of troops and push them out. With a large body count," he sighs, "We won't be getting it back diplomatically. Ponyville can supply a force for a very long time. Possibly idefinatley, depending on the size. I'm sorry it's not a very positive outlook," he adds.

"I'm probably going to be sent to help recapture it then." She replied. "I'm going to request for you again, if that's okay with you." She added. She didn't want Scout to join if he didn't want to fight.

"It's fine, it's not like they can order me to return the Everfree. So I noticed Nopony was in my barracks, was there something I should know about? I get the fealing I missed something," he replies, sitting.

Starbolt sat next to him. "Scout. There was.... An order that came through... Raid on Ponyville tonight. From what I saw the odds are not good. Your division was assigned to perform the raid. I had to request that you be excused because I needed you for my own assignment." She explained to him why his barracks was empty.

He flicked his ears and nodded. He didn't look to sad, just a litle confused, but he looked at her and saluted, "Reporting as apparently ordered, ma'am. What is this assignment?" he stiffles a yawn, he did look a bit tired, but he also looked like he was trying to hide it. His face was the usual mask, but his salute was sloppy and his wings were droopy. Awesome Scout, get your act together. Just because she's your marefriend doesn't mean she isn't your CO.
