Sora looks like a dork in the first game imo. When I first played the game I didn't like it as much because it was so hard to control compared to KHII which is so smooth in it's gameplay. Roxas at the start of KHII controls better than endgame Sora. I had played KHII first so I had gotten quite used to the fluidity of the controls so going BACKWARD was...yeah.

 

I got over it though and so it's a good game now. I'll never beat the Ice Titan or Sephiroth though. LOL

 

I agree the controls in kh1 were jank...R2 and L2 to move the camera? bullshit

Yeah, the kh1 story was much better, I didn't like the confusion of kh2 (with organization XIII, and Roxas) and I personally hated nobodies, I preferred heartless.

 

At that time all I saw was " Awesome! new game!" Heartless>Nobodies

Nobodies made little to no sense to me.

I could have dealt with L2 and R2 as the camera buttons if they had let me change the inversion on them. I can't stand "normal" camera controls. xD

I'm not sure where to get it, but I know there's a ps2 emulator floating around the net somewhere. a friend of mine had one a few years ago. I also saw GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas all packaged together for PC for like $20 at Wal Mart or Target.

 

I found it...called pcsx2

Oh, I totally forgot Ace Combat 4. AC4 is easily in my favorites list too. I haven't played any other AC games (I want to but haven't picked them up yet lol) but this one is fantastic.

More love for Extermination is a good thing. I love the game and I would have put it in my favorites except...I'm not done with it or even remotely close. I can't put a game I'm probably not even halfway through in my favorites list, now can I?

 

Extermination is a really overlooked game in the PS2 library though.

 

Man the first time I played Kingdom Hearts BLEW MY MIND. That game is amazing beyond words !!!

 

 

This was literally my first portable game that I played and the first pokemon game that I played. This = NOSTALGIA at its finest

I disagree highly, anthying after gladiator was bad imo, i am quite a fan of the first one.

That and The Thing were awesome games, though extermination is definetly the lesser known of the two for some reason.

 

 

 

For me i'm going to say MGS2

I used to play the demo that was included with ZOE all the time.

I probably put numerous hours into that demo alone, so i'd say that was the best demo ever.

As for the game I won't lie the first time I played it, I wasn't a big fan especially with the protagonist swap and Raiden.

However I've noticed that every time I replay the game I like it more and more!

Saints Row: The Third - From sheer silliness and customization abilities. Plus, Zimos and Pierce are probably the greatest Black people in history

Modern Warfare 2 - When I get into a half-decent lobby (Little to no noobtubes), the game becomes a whole lot better for me

Grand Theft Auto IV - The amount of missions and things I can do make it really fun

Amnesia: The Dark Descent - The only horror game I ever played, and man, was it a good choice

Part of it comes from the fact that I had played A Crack In Time first. Same deal as with KHII to KHI. I'm sure I'll like it more next time I play but ACiT is an infinitely better game imo.

I'm one of the few that likes MGS2 more than MGS3. MGS2's gameplay is better imo and the story is equal but for different reasons. The story is pretty deep when you really pay attention to it, especially after you've played the later games. After beating MGS4 I had such a huge understanding of MGS2 on my second playthrough. lol

I played the MESS out of the 3 Jak & Dax games! 100% all of them. I liked the spin-off game daxter as well but nothing compares to the epicness of the Jak Trilogy. Daxter quote "fish in a barrel baby fish in a barrel"
