Anyone up for more mental breakdowns?

So i have rewatched each episode and i have thoguht, if every charecter had a mental breakdown in season 1, could there be more breakdowns in season 3? Here are all of the ones from season 1:

It's fun to see them have mental breakdowns. But I feel like they done it so many times they may not do one this year.

I feel like mental breakdowns are only funny in very specific circumstances. Lesson Zero was great because Twilight's break down was really in character and served a narrative purpose, The same can be said for Pinkie's breakdown in Party of One. I would hope that Rarity's mental breakdown (should they give her a real one rather than just drama) would have to be really carefully done. Rarity is a character that is so dramatic already that the over dramatization of her already dramatic persona risk becoming heartbreaking, or overwhelming instead of just amusing.

This is gunna sound like complete horse shite and to be honest it probably is but;

 

I would say the reason the character's have these ';breakdowns' is because all their personalities are made so children can relate to them, so they are rather immature. Because they are immature they do not know how to cope with certain situations and this is why they breakdown. As their personalities have not changed much there is a possibility that they will have another breakdown although most of them over came the problems leading to their breakdowns meaning that if reproached by the same situation they will handle it allot better.

The only one who hasn't had a "proper" mental breakdown is Applejack. The worst she has been is incredibly stubborn ("Applebuck Season"), but that has since been addressed by her confidence in her friends. Rarity has come extremely close, at least in "Suited for Success" when the rest of the Mane Six drove her to the point of exhaustion.

 

"Lesson Zero" is forever the bar for total breakdowns in the show, save perhaps for "Party of One." I don't think the same formula will be trotted out (excuse the pun) in future episodes---unless there is ample reason for things to go south for one of the ponies.

I'd love to see an episode where all of them go insane at the same time, and each of them are the cause of each other's breakdowns. I'm always up for a good sanity slippage in MLP:FiM, that's what really attracted me to the show in the first place.

The only one who hasn't had a "proper" mental breakdown is Applejack. The worst she has been is incredibly stubborn ("Applebuck Season"), but that has since been addressed by her confidence in her friends.

I really don't want to see an Applejack breakdown. Mostly because I see her as the pony with the most "real" problems. She has to worry about the success of the farm, family facilities breaking down, the health of her family members (Granny's hip for example). Her breakdown worries me because I feel like it might hit too close to home.

This seems like the most likely breakdown to happen to me. After all, running a nation alone for a thousand years has probably affected her mental health in some way. I think the best way for her to break down would be over something completely ridiculous, and the Mane 6 would have to help Luna hide her from the public while Luna takes care of Equestria.

It doesn't seem as if it will ever be a major issue. AJ hasn't had a major "breakdown" episode---unless you count "Applebuck Season" or "The Last Round Up"---over the past two seasons; I doubt the writers would suddenly and inexplicably cause her to totally flip her lid.

Wow, that would be a REALLY messed up episode, i mean just think about it! But the mental breakdown that i await is fluttershys, even thoguh shes in my top3 favorite charecters she does everything so graceful that when she does its almost entertianing. Like episode 26 when PInky is singing do the pony poky."You stomp your wholeself in and you stomp your whole self out, Then you stope yourself about. At Comic Con I believe that the voice actors and Meghan McCarthy (the writer of the 2 episodes were ponies were at their craziest) said they'd like to see more crazy ponies, so there's no doubt we'll see more crazy ponies.

Being the most mature, and certainly having the least amount of personalty bumps (which is also why some people think she's boring, because her personality is perfectly balanced asides from being stubborn), I don't think Applejack would ever have a psycho moment on the same level of Twilight or one of the others. It could very well be that seeing her being all silly and frazzled in her tiredness from being stubborn in Applebuck Season is the most we'll ever see from her in that respect.

 

As for me sure I'm up for it in general, but I don't want it overdone. I appreciate it, I think it's good comedy relief and nice to see an extreme to their personalities for the worse, but I'd rather them being normal and cute :3

It was Gummmy's Birthday, but yes i do remember the episode with the crazy derpface. Then after that the fanfiction Cupcakes was made.

ON TOPIC TIME! I do believe that seeing Rarity or Rainbow Dash have a severe psychotic collapse would be the best thing ever. An entire episode like Lesson Zero except with Rarity fretting over something to do with fabrics and colors and diamonds would be FUN!

Rarity needs an accualy problem and not her over dramatic fretting over nonsense. Like something if she doesn't do it there will be problems for her, like making a dress for princess Celestia
