What if MLP:FiM Season 3 Was Cancelled?

You read the title of this topic, and out of curiosity, you clicked on it and came to it.

 

I am proposing this question.

 

How would you react if My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Season 3 was cancelled and not released?

 

 

Personally, it depends why it was cancelled for me. If it was stopped due to some affair between parents and creators because the show was too violent or the show was too disrespectful, I'd probably be very disappointed. However, if it was stopped because of a realistic and rational reason, I'd STILL probably be mad because all anti-bronies just won.

 

Any thoughts?

Honestly, I just see it as a TV show I like. I don't see how anyone wins by it not being aired anymore.

Honestly, I just see it as a TV show I like. I don't see how anyone wins by it not being aired anymore.

It's that simple. I guess it's inaccurate to say anti-bronies "won", but in a way, it would be somewhat of a victory for them: seeing our hopes for season 3 being crushed. I mean, anti-broneis hate bronies. They obviously love seeing them disappointed or in pain. It's the same thing.

I would be shocked for like a couple hours, trying to read up on other peoples' reactions to it, but by the next day I'd be over it and continue the same stuff I've been doing between seasons. Looking up art, hanging out on the forums etc. MLP isn't my #1 obsession so it wouldn't ruin my life. Now if all 4 NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB closed up and there were no more sports, then I'd be destroyed.

that just can't happen, Hasbro knows that their MLP franchise is now a super high profitable resource, it's like throwing away garbage bags full of cash.

 

Hey, I'm not saying it's gonna happen, this is just all speculation. I know Lauren and the developers would try their best to protect the franchise. Thankfully, I honestly can't think of any legitimate reason it would ever be cancelled. So it's all good.

Obsessing over the end of a show, just to "end" a fanbase, is considered winning, then I'd just love to see what Loosing means......

This thread title spooked me. Seriously. A bit misleading much? With all the tension regarding the 13 episodes and the magic number of 65 for the series, this was not the thread title I wanted to see. I think it's due for a little tweak.

 

That having been said, I would be equal parts confused and devastated if they cancelled the third season. They bothered to advertise for it, but now they just dropped the project entirely? And undoubtedly the cancellation would mean the series would have ended---unless they picked it up later, for some odd reason. All in all, it would be a double whammy and a half.

But the question... Well, it would immensely depend on the explanation they'd give to be canceling the show. But I still think that the entire community would be very mad and disappointed regardless.

 

I don't know how anti-bronies would act upon these shocking news. I'd just hope that it wouldn't create an even bigger "war" against the brony community.

 

But again, I highly doubt they'd cancel the show at this moment, since the community won't stop increasing.

To be honest, i would not care as much as other bronies.

My first reaction would be ''Oh, really?'' and i would probably spend an hour or two talking to other bronies about it.

 

Other then that i would not care so much about it.

Lauren retired since season 1, so she's not the directive producer anymore and I can't speculate if it can't happen, sorry that's the way I think, I can't see that possibility.

Despite the fact that Hasbro's not gonna kill their golden egg laying hen, I'd probably be quite annoyed by the fact. Though there would still be a plenty of pony material being made, because this fanbase is just amazing.

You see, we have this pony, Vinyl. She had about a minute or so of footage in show, and only as a background pony. And yet there are tons of fanfics written about her, I've even played a simple game with her, and it wouldn't be possible to count the art featuring her.

Such community will remain creative years after the show has stopped airing.
