Well I went to a convention (My first one ever) being the Grand Brony Gala here in Florida, although I got so many things it would flood the thread XD So I will just stick with the shirt I just got in the mail (And the fluffle puff plush I got and love sooo much) :3

I might as well post about all my con swag here(I've already mentioned it in the Brony Can thread). I don't have pictures though. I have a copy of issue 22 of the comics with the con exclusive cover, Twilight Sparkle's Secret Shipfic Folder with the extra con-exclusive cards, two of those mini-figure/card packs which turned out to be from wave four, and a signed sketch of Fluttershy from Amy Mebberson. That stuff and the existing graphic novels are the sum total of my MLP collection for the time being. I guess I had to start collecting some swag at some point. It might as well be from Brony Can.

 

Edit: I can't for the life of me figure out the bbcode on this forum for images, so I'm not going to bother posting them all here. That and I'm lazy. I did post them in a thread on my friend's forum though. I say forum in the loosest sense of the word, since him and I are the only ones who use it. I also like brushables! Back when I was younger I made sure to keep my single G2 pony with beautifully brushed hair . I actually bought shampoo and conditioner to help with the giant lot of G3 ponies I bought but haven't gotten to it yet. I managed to get my Fashion Style Rarity to have a nice curl to her hair

There's a MLP Magazine? What's in it? Judging by the packaging, I'm going to guess you live somewhere in Europe though, possibly the UK. Magazines rarely ever come packed with things around here, but when I went to the UK, I saw all sorts of magazines bundled with extras.

I also stumbled upon this puzzle at Dollarama....Last one too. I always check Dollarama, though they very rarely have G4 MLP merch.

I know living in the UK isn't all roses all the time, but lacking or not, your magazines frequently come bundled with stuff. Even if something epic like that Rarity figure only comes up once in a while, it's still once in a while more than it would around here. Around here, magazines are on their own 99.99% of the time. It's definitely a perk to living in your region. Well, that and the fact that you get blind bag ponies before us, and sometimes even get exclusive waves. On the other hand, I looked up that magazine, and it doesn't look like Brony material, or anything a person with a Y chromosome should touch with a 39 and 1/2 foot pole(no offense), but that figure alone might make that package worthwhile.

I only recently researched the blind bag ponies, because I picked up a couple at Brony Can, the Canadian Brony Con. The ones I have are from wave 4, but despite being a two year old product, are obviously at least somewhat common around here. According to my research, at least one of the first two waves never made it here(I kind of just skimmed that part), and a couple of the more recent waves are UK exclusive. Curiously enough, the latest wave is supposedly wave 11, so I don't know what to make of that. I'm assuming these blind bags are a UK or European product, despite being made in China. I wouldn't call it much of a perk, but I guess you could call having access to the latest blind bag ponies without necessarily having to hop online a perk. Enjoy that Rarity though. I'm sure a similar Rarity figure typically costs more than the price of a magazine, even in the UK.
