I don't like Emboar though, it's completely useless compared to the other 2 Fire/Fighting types.

I wouldn't call that an awesome comic. First of all,

 

1. Pokenav isn't in Gen 4. Its replace by the Poketch, which has a pretty much nonexistent tutorial.

 

2. The game never teaches you how to walk and interact, or navigate menus. Nintendo knows even 2 year olds can get it.

 

3. All Pokemon games start off slow as hell, this one is no different.

 

4. You never go into detail of how the games are getting worse, all you do is bitch about 4 Pokemon designs, and all your other whining is just complaining about things that aren't in the game. Nothing you address affects the gameplay in any sort

 

5. You can't say the whole thing is bad because of a couple bad Pokemon.

Why excluding Black and White?

 

1. Charmander

2.Cyndaquil

3. Mudkip

4. Turtwig

5. Snivy

 

My favorite gen was the second gen by far. All of the starters and their evolutions looked awesome. First gen was good too, but I didn't like Squirtle too much (I like its evolutions though so it's no big deal)

 

Third gen were all ugly except for Mudkip... but then he evolved into ugliness...

Fourth gen was probably even worse. I didn't really liked any of them. I picked turtwig because he's the least terrible, not because I particularly like him.

Fifth gen is a bit better but come on, a fire/fighting starter for the THIRD generation in a row?? that's just terrible. Other than that, I liked most of the designs.

 

You don't even need to tell me to avoid black and white: every pokemon (not just starters) looks stupid to me.

 

That's not true, I think many Gen 5 Pokemon have a pretty cool design. Much better than Gen 4 for the most part anyway. And there were plenty of Pokemon with weird/ugly design before gen 5. For example, just look at these guys:

There are tutorials on how to move and navigate menus when you are starting a new game. And pretty much every pokemon design is bad from diamond and Pearl->Black and White
