Trilogies are a great way to tell a story, but the question that always arises when one is made: which is the best in the trilogy?

 

Obviously I could have added a lot more awesome trilogies, but that's quite a few as it is.

Tell me which ones I should have added and which ones your favorite.

Unfortunately I just had to pick a random one for Austin Powers, Godfather, and Aliens considering that I have either never watched them or at least all 3.

Have I missed much by not watching any of the films in the Indiana Jones series? I've tried before but I can never force myself to sit through one of those.

The original Rambo trilogy is god-tier.

 

 

 

And of course Sergio Leone's 'Man With No Name' trilogy

You forgot the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, just the first 3, the the 4th one is the start of a new series

Also do they have to be movies? I've read some really good novels too, the Hunger Games series and Leviathan trilogy for example

Back to the future part 2 is the best of the trilogy but the other were really good as well. I like how it takes up to 2015

No one holds anything against Back to the Future part III. Part II and part I were just cooler, and the first one had to get a lot across, to its credit.

Sure the 2nd and 3rd movie weren't as good as the first, but the trilogy as a whole is still rather fun.

Plus who doesn't like dinosaurs.
