Anyway, another unpopular opinion of mine is that I really don't mind when people are stubborn. Just the sheer pleasure that I know I won the argument when they start coming up with stupid excuses or saying "WELL, I DON'T CARE"

I wouldn't say you automatically win the argument when they start saying that, but considering how I did the same thing to you a few days ago, I shouldn't really be the one to talk .

Well, this is an opinion thread xD I wouldn't really consider what we were arguing about the other day factual, really. Opinions aren't right or wrong. So I couldn't have won an argument with no right answer, could I? xP

Yeah, pretty much. I mean, either you don't answer and you win, or the other dude doesn't answer and you win. Or, the other dude answers, you don't, and he wins, or doesn't answer and he wins. It can work in many ways.

- I don't think it's that bad to be highly in love with a fictional character. While in hindsight, that can be a bit problematic for some people, it's our choice whether we decide to like a fictional character or a real one. Hey, I'm madly in love with AJ, but since I live in the South, maybe there's a girl similiar to her that is waiting for me .

in all honesty, I really can't stand sad songs (other than Mad World maybe... but even then I do not like crying sad tears ) I'm more of a bouncy fellow who likes jumping for joy at the sound of heaven shining its light upon the world!

Being a fanboy isn't really a true fan IMO, they are ignorantly blinded by their "love" for the character that they won't accept anything said that's negative about them. That's not the kind of fan that's fun to be around, either. Whether or not they want the character to do/not to do something, whether the character is this way or that way. Whatever the fan's own opinion about the character and what they call "fact," they won't change it no matter what, even if it makes complete sense and could change the character's plot line for the better.

I usually try to be a fan, since I know the problems AJ has that make her boring and uninteresting (Sometimes annoying, from what I've heard) to others. I don't like being labeled a "fanboy" since it usually means a dude/dudette who can't accept any negative thing about the character......like you said .

I also agree with LF. While I can see why R34 art ruffles the jimmies of some people, I think it's a little overblown at times and people need to appreciate it a bit more. Then again, that's their opinion.

I have read his post and I agree. But, of course, there are other factors into deciding who is the best fan, and I'm eager to see what you think in the thread you're creating.

- Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning aren't even that good. Kill 'Em All is where it's really at.

 

- System of a Down isn't good, even for Nu-metal. I think Serj Tankian does much better in his solo career as an alternative/symphonic rock artist.

 

- Red Flag is easily the worst track on Billy Tallent II.

 

- XFCE is best desktop environment.

 

- I'm one who listens to actual metal, and *core stuff. Granted, a lot of people in Crispy's Metal Thread do. That was kind of surprising actually, most other places you'll get chewed up and spit out for even mentioning it.

While I love Princess Luna I have this to say: Princess Luna is unfairly overblown by the fandom as a whole and people need to stop trying to justify her actions 1000 years ago. Stop trying to make Celestia out to be the villain and making her the monster while Luna is the helpless victim. Luna is a great character but she is not any better then Celestia, nor would she be able to rule as well by herself as Celestia has.

 

Celestia did what she had to do to protect her subjects and as a true leader she put the well being of her little ponies before her own personal feelings. Imagine how it was like for Celestia having to banish her own sister, lost within the darkness that was Nightmare Moon, until such a time as new wielders would come that could take the evil that had control of Luna.

 

Trollestia isn't funny, Molestia isn't funny and originally wasn't even Celestia but a shapeshifting demoness that took Celestia's form (which could now connect to a certain Changling Queen), and lastly I hate people making Celestia a troll.

Kill Em' All is better than the other two. Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits are both way better than Reign in Blood.

 

TBH, the only good thing that ends with core is grindcore. Anyone who talks smack about Carcass and Napalm Death deserves a good smack in the head with a bat.

I like Digimon's anime more than Pokemon's anime.

I think Dane Cook is a terrible comedian and not funny at all.

My favorite Zelda titles are the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, and I think Ocarina of Time is horridly overrated.

I don't care for Bob Dylan or Tom Petty.

I don't mind the clop side of the fandom.
