I got another one for ya that might get me some funny looks:

 

I hate syrup. Stuff is nasty, at least maple syrup is. I can sometimes go for some flavored ones but ultimately it's the one thing that makes pancakes and waffles taste any sort of good and since I hate syrup I also hate pancakes.

I don't hate syrup, but I never really use it on pancakes. I just eat them plain. If I do use syrup, it's very little.

 

1. Dubstep is utter trash.

2. Generation 3 is the best generation of Pokémon. (Generation 1 is trash)

3. Mass Effect 3 was a great game if you exclude the ending.

4. Skyrim is better than Oblivion.

5. "Modern music" is no better or worse than any other era of music; most music in general is trash anyways.

6. You can apply Sturgeon's Law to literally everything, including people.

You mean like the NWOBHM bands? Well, they're not exactly hard rock, they have a sound that goes further than that. Stuff like AC/DC isn't metal at all.

Nah, I was thinking more of stuff like Slipknot or Disturbed or something. I see a lot of people say they aren't metal and then I hear a lot of people saying they are metal. The NWOBHM bands are definitely heavy metal, anyone who says they aren't metal are just wrong.

Miley Cyrus was even worse than her previous self.

 

Robin thicke's song is not good or catchy at all, and annoyed to see it surpasses the #1 song...

Well since you asked ME, all I can say is that yes they're metal but not good metal. (IMO)

I think we should realize that we have no need for burial/graves, I mean our spark has left and the body is just rotting meat now.

 

Make something useful of our dead bodies like animal-food, fuel, other...maybe use our skin too.

 

Eat more cute animals since I think it's so racist that we can eat them cute cows so easily, we are all-eaters so lets eat all the meat we can stomach.

I agree with you 100% on this.  Human bodies could be used for all sorts of things.  It is such a waste to bury them.  I want all of my organs donated, my skeleton to be placed in a school, and everything else used for something like you said - food, fuel, whatever.

 

I also think it is silly that we bury things of value with people.  And I don't understand why people think that grave robbing is so terrible.  I don't see it as any worse than taking stuff out of someone's garbage can.

Movies/TV:

-Titanic is the absolute worst piece of shit-cake of a movie I have ever seen in my entire life (Stop lying to yourselves people)

-Movies these days are way too long and rely too much on special effects rather than the story (when in doubt, BLOW SHIT UP!)

-I like Tim Burton's Batman movies a little more than Chris Nolan's (doesn't mean that I hate them)

-Every TV show that has more than 6 seasons should end

-MLP:FIM, while a good cartoon, is not as good as the shows I grew up with during the 90s

-South Park >>>>>>>>>>>>>>MLP

-I enjoy bad movies more than really good ones (The Room, Batman and Robin, The Black Cauldron etc.)

 

Music

-I am neutral on rap and dubstep but I can't stand mainstream pop

-Master of Puppets is the most overrated metal album of all time, same with Reign in Blood, Peace Sells, British Steel, Number of the Beast etc.

-Grindcore is the worst genre of music (at least I consider it 'music')

-I hate it when people say "Music was sooooo much better back in [insert decade here]" Every decade had bad music

I am an avid anti-Libertarian, I see it as a contradicting, ineffective form of government.

 

The majority of libertarians are idiots, they're just like the other parties, nothing absolutely special about it and I don't see the point in people bitching and whining about why they deserve such privileges for following the ideology.

 

Religion is pointless and is used as a scare tactic.

 

Conspiracy Theorists are idiots.

 

Fallout is boring.

 

We need more political parties involved in congress to get out of the mess.

 

Republicans who whine about everything are more entertaining than believable.

I am against homeschool, but support it under certain circumstances.

 

I support Communism, not uber Socialist Fascism masquerading as Communism.

 

Encyclopedia Dramatica is barely funny, they're full of 12 year olds and basement dwellers.

 

I also find it funny when somebody posts a truly unpopular opinion here, they get attacked immediately about why they're wrong, yet the same popular opinions get posted over and over in this thread to the point where they're now overrated and abused, also when will this topic finally die?

Try Pig Destroyer. They don't utilize pig growling so often that is so typical for the genre, and they are very Sludge-y/Doom in terms of instrumentals

People's main complain about the genre is how one-sided it feels. Pig Destroyer has plenty of variety while still maintaining that aggressive feeling

They're also really fast, that can appeal to a Thrash fan such as you. Also, Black Sabbath plays Doom too :3

 

Don't complain about something if you're not willing to give it a genuine chance

I hate vegetarians. I don;t know why, but every time I here about veganism or stuff like that, I get really really mad. It is like I am racist agains them.

Wow, surprised to see negative reactions towards LGBT. I think different sexual preferences are perfectly great, but I tend to have the feeling that LGBT discussions have far too great a likelihood of someone suddenly and inexplicably getting offended.

To me, if the hero loses and a villain wins, the media where it happens is automatically unenjoyable.

- With this in mind, it probably won't come as a shock that I prefer light-hearted stories FAR more than dark ones. And stories that are too dark are just unbearable.

 

I find Call of Duty to be a very decent franchise, even beyond World at War.

 

I actually like Modern Sonic the Hedgehog games more than the Classic ones.

- On this note, I find Secret Rings to be a much worse Sonic game than '06.

- Asexuality in mind, I actually hate sexual humor, and all characters that blatantly act as sex figures.

 

Assassin's Creed III was decent. The end of Desmond's story was the only real flaw.

 

I was genuinely terrified by Smile HD. Like, literally. To a psychological level. And I only got to Pinkie beating Rarity. And yet Cupcakes wasn't nearly as painful.

 

The Total Drama franchise on Cartoon Network is one of the worst shows of all time in my opinion.

 

I find shoujo better than shounen (as long as it tries having some intelligence, like Otomen)

 

I'm a guy, and yet I like girl-oriented things more than guy-oriented things most of the time... though this isn't THAT unpopular.

I really like Pablo Honey, and You is one of my favorite Radiohead songs. I don't see why people hate Pablo Honey so much.

It's best to listen to a dumpload of different genres instead of sticking to one.

Most metalheads that I've met IRL are either very nice and smart, or total jerks.
