What about Team Fortress 2, if it was still a military-based tactical shooter at launch it wouldn't feel the same as the final game does. Although unimpressive today, this was cutting-edge back in 1997. See the "Unreal! (Yes, this is an actual PC game screenshot)" and "best looking PC game of 1997". I hope his point was more about the fact that the current generation isn't that much of a step up from the old one and people are bitching about it too much, YES. But, reducing graphics as a stylistic choice is good, and text-based games have their place. Every graphical and technological level has its benefits and limitations, and it's how well the technology is used is how classics are made. Biscuit. Both are more focused on crappy 'sitcoms' or teen 'dramas' and reruns. Disney Channel shows crap like the suite life, dora the explorer, hannah montannah etc, and CN has all those crappy live shows now and crap (imo) like Gumball, Adventure Time and Regular Show.
