Things you are into that aren't so mainstream or well-known

Taking a look around my room.....

Conspiracy theories

organ music

exotic cheeses

growing hair until terminal length (trust me, most people hate that and just say hair that length should be donated)

astronomy

organic health & permaculture

folk music

international films

old/"classics" films

Lolita fashion

psychology

horses

Homestuuuuuuuuuuuuck > : D

You're awesome. I love astronomy, I want to go to college to become an astrophysicist some day. I'm also quite a fan of conspiracies and classic movies. Especially the silent film era. They just don't make them awesome like that anymore. Exotic cheeses can be amazing, especially when paired with a good wine.

I also really enjoy some Russian music, the old folk songs, WWII era patriotic music, and up into the 80's-now with groups like Aria, Kipelov, Splin, Nautilus Pompilius, Piknik. Thank Sergei Lukyanenko's Night Watch pentology for that. Great novels.

I was going to put folk metal here, but I already saw 2 posts earlier in the thread. So here we go Symphonic Metal from Italy instead. And yes, it's a rendition of that "Swan Lake"

Terrible Sierra adventure games (King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry)

Terrible Nicolas Cage movies (The Wicker Man, Face/Off)

Terrible anime (Apocalypse Zero, Baki the Grappler)

Terrible soft rock (Pigeon, unnamed things I hear on the radio)

Anthropology

I think I found a pattern.

I heard someone say organ music. FYI, I'm also enough into organ music. Enough to make over three hours worth of it.

Most people would think it's weird, psychotic or an act of the devil to have one so you got your wish lol

If ONE makes you psychotic, try 6 at a time. Or, in my ill-chosen path at a point, 30.

Well, that's awesome to hear! They're the kind of interests you'd discover very unique people in.

And the Russians have a really powerful enunciation too both their words and their music - which to add, Slavic folk music is more specifically my favourite : P

I know right :D Pipe organs are a really unique musical life form.

Well, naw it really doesn't, just the "everyday folks" assumption. And a wrong assumption of theirs too, because words like psychotic get thrown around too easy like we've all got honours degrees in psychology or something. But it wouldn't be a problem to them unless you frequently admitted to the world "hey guys, I have a tulpa".. assuming these people would likely ever knew what they were in the first place. So enjoy them.

Yeah, that's why I make so much organ music. It just has a very complex and solemn feel to it.

Honestly, I stopped thinking of them as tulpas a while ago. Things are as real as I wish to make them. They are as much flesh and bone as I am. Granted, they never are the same species as me.

There are a lot of underground metal bands that I like. I'll post a list when my brain decides to wake up properly.

Actually, the guy Najlvin actually lives in Europe. He got his pet fox when he was involved in a protest against a Czech fur farm. Red foxes are fairly common in fur farms.

Rule 1 and 2 only apply during raids. You are allowed to talk about /b/ outside of raids.

And, yeah, you would be the first Lithuanian brony I have heard of. Though, I'm not sure there is even a Lithuanian translated version aired. I mean, they just got around to getting the Finnish one up.

Interesting. Maybe I'll be able to get one from a fur farm one day.. then again, I bet they (the foxes) aren't spayed in fur farms, given their shots agains rabies, malaria or other deceases. Heck, some fox breeders "potty train" the foxes before shipping/giving it to their future-owners. If I'm getting a fox from a fur farm, it'll be much more harder to train and take care of than getting one from a breeder.

And looks like I'm still a newfa- newfriend when it comes to /b/.

My point exactly. I've seen a few episodes in Lithuanian (and they were quite good) but they soon got canceled. I assume it didn't give enough profits because few people watched it. What a shame, really.

Actually, if you get them as pups, they are pretty easy to train.

Let's just say I've had a fair share of experience with /b/. I've never been on it, yet I may as well have been. (Btw, you CAN say newfag in front of me. I know how the system works)

When in doubt, fan dubs.

I'm not sure how mainstream these things are but... then again, I don't really care because *puts on hipster sunglasses* I did this stuff before it was mainstream.

Anywho, I like to:

- Play games and see how many achievements I can avoid getting. (If I have 5 or more by the end of the game, then that game has failed me.)

- Listen to game soundtracks.

- Rant about stuff most people probably don't care about.

- Draw other people's OCs.

- Read and memorize the (character) pages of the people I'm roleplaying with, then forget that about a week later and read it again.

- Say stuff/Lie to people with no other intention than to gauge their reaction. (Don't worry, I only do this in person because I can't gauge reactions off the internet.)

Oh, testing people...

I definitely am into that one a lot. It's fun to pull at the strings of people.

I'm really into map making. I have no idea why. I'll take this map that divides the world into administrative districts and just spend three hours filling it in with fake countries I think of on the fly. Then I delete it and do something else. It's just so fun to me, I guess. It takes forever sometimes, and at points can get old, especially when you're trying to fill in the tiny dots that mark city states or islands or capitols.

I also LOVE the Ottoman Empire, which I guess isn't that obscure, but a lot of people probably don't even know what that is. Might I add all my maps contain some presence of an "Ottoman Empire' =P

YSFlight, the minecraft of Flightsims...is it realistic? Nope.

It's the hipster's fligthsim basically. It was made as a 'just for fun' project by a Japanese programmer and while there's a fairly large community for it at South Korea, Japan, and somehow, Brazil, the English community has started to die. About 50 dedicated simmers left which include me.

The game itself is very ugly to look at. The planes and scenery you see above are mods. The Obama you see is stoned. The Rainbow Dash airplane was a mod for YSFlight re-painted by me because I'm the only Brony in that community and I need my ponies!

I absolutely adore the new series Tron: Renegade. My personal guess as to why it isn't very popular (as far as I am aware) is the original tron and Tron: Legacy, even the PS3 game, were dispersed over a long period of time. With fans of the original Tron (like myself) few in number, the interest in legacy and the video game dropped, and by extension the interest in the show was just as low. I can't really pinpoint why I like it, it's probably a combination of nostalgia, bias, and quality of the show itself. I like it just as much as MLP: FiM and Gravity Falls, and more than The Legend Of Korra (but LoK is still epic). I'd like to see more people take an interest in Tron like Animal Crossing just came out of nowhere, but most people think Tron in this day is just bearing a dead horse.

-Furry Fandom

-MLP FIM Fandom

-Medieval/Medieval Metal Music

-Poetry (used to be popular, no one really cares for it much anymore from the looks of it)

-Roleplaying/D&D (its a bit more mainstream, but its still out there)

-Tulpae and Tulpaforcing (this is quite out of the common knowledge from what I can tell)

-History (its not overly non-mainstream, but I like going deep into it)

-Strange Techno/Electronic/Dubsteppy music

So you listen to actual Medieval music along with Medieval Metal music (of which I don't know anything about since I'm not really into Metal)?

Well as actual "medieval" as it can get, and yep I listen to both, I like listening to actual medieval songs like this

and then songs made to sound medieval like this one. I love medieval culture, and the whole mess, I find the style of song very moving.

When it comes to Medieval Metal, I usually listen to German groups like Saltatio Mortis (since it is a mostly German genre). My favorite Medieval Metal song is probably Manus Manum Lavat (One Hand Washes the Other), English translation here.
