I know we don't if she's an alicorn or what (well she probably is an alicorn) I was sceptical about Cadence being an alicorn ( when designed by Lauren Faust she was just a unicorn) Now more alicorns??????? I'm sure they have a very good reason to bring another Alicorn to the show, so I'm not going to make any judgments until I see the episode. Rumours says that Skyla might be related to Cadence or even be the daughter of her and Shining Armor. I don't really have any problems with more Alicorns, but let's just hope it doesn't turn out to be something much overpowered, aye? I mean as you go back in time the ponies seem to have been "All earth ponies in this settlement" "All pegasus in this cloud city" "All unicorns here." Now that you have areas like Ponyville where you have all three types cohabitating, you will have a lot more cross-racial relations. And when a pegasus falls in love with a unicorn..... That doesnt happen so much if you have very little contact between the societies. You could almost have a romeo and juliet moment with a pegasus and a unicorn from 500 years ago. I'm about 100% sure that she's Shining Armor and Cadence's daughter, which means she could have an alicorn gene. Let's face it, if Luna had a baby, what would you expect it to be? I don't really care about the ''Oh, there's more than two Alicorns in the show!! RUINED FOREVER!!!!'' thing. I'm taking a guess that she's gonna be an alicorn, and I personally don't mind. On alicorns, I think it's simply a scarce breed. Or maybe she isn't Cadence and Shining's daughter at all -- perhaps she's just a random royal family member, haha. Although she DOES look a lot like Cadence. Got a bit off topic, but I suppose there ARE more Alicorns out there.
