Right now, we need to focus on stopping the Sha. If they get to the portals, they could sorrup everything, everywhere.

 

Including Fluttershy.

Our main goal here is to save Q, nothing else. We have only a short time until our chance slips by and we can't risk wasting any more time than we already have. I say this, not to be cruel, but for the greater good. If we save Q from his demise he could, in turn, save Life Giver, therefore saving them both without taking unneeded chances.
