There's no talking to religious Zealots is there?

Equally, there's no talking to people who don't bother to read their own faction's lore... I was referring to canonical material from Farsight supplement and to Lexicanum. What's your excuse for ignorance? How the fuck am I a zealot for correcting you?

Specifically:

http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Tau

"Should an Ethereal order a Tau of a different caste to kill themselves, they would be obeyed instantly and without question."

Reference - 8f, Codex: Tau Empire (THE DEFINITION of your faction's canon).

Also:

http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Ethereal

"Their power over the Tau is such that an Ethereal could tell a Tau to die and that Tau would do so quickly and gladly. The Adeptus Mechanicus would give much to learn the secret of the Ethereal's power. There is strong implication from the similarities between an organ possessed uniquely among Tau by the Ethereals, and an organ which Q'orl use in pheromonal communication that this ability may be due to deliberate engineering in the Ethereals' past."

And also.

http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/O%27Shovah

"After the incident on Arthas Moloch, Farsight returned to his established holdings on the far side of the Damocles Gulf. Farsight began to secretly become highly distrustful of the Ethereal Caste, coming to suspect that they may be controlling the Tau by more than simple charisma and wisdom, perhaps employing more sinister methods. In the aftermath of his victory, Farsight came to realise the threat of Chaos and the fact the universe was not the orderly rational place described in Tau philosophy. He also came to the realization that the Ethereals as a caste knew something of this but had kept it from the Tau.[4b] At first he merely thought their leadership was flawed, that the other castes would be better off seeking harmony with each other without their oversight. But the more he thought on the instances where obedience to the Etherals had been taken to illogical and foolish extremes. Worse, many of the actions taken under their guidance had seemed at the time both wise and necessary seemed now deplorable and wrong.[4b] In addition, Farsight began to live far beyond the normal life span of a Tau.[4h]"

And lastly you are wrong in thinking that tau are invisible to daemons. They are not a race of blanks, they simply have very weak souls. If a daemon was right in front of them, summoned into the Materium, it would very much notice them. Furthermore, Farsight fought daemons and they were the ones who slaughtered the ethereals accompanying him, freeing him from their control.

Well they must be some strong ass pheromone's considering the Tau obey them without question even when there isn't a Ethereal on the same ship as them...But I guess the "Adeptus Mechanicus" have never been wrong before so I should trust them....(not to mention that Farsight was very distrustful of the Ethereals before the demons came so either he was resistant to the so called pheromones or they don't work the way you think)

and I never said there invisible to demons just that demons can't tell where they are from the warp? not to mention that Farsights Longevity is due to him using "DEMON" weapons that steal the life of those he kill's....So the fact that you prefer the Farsight Empire to the Tau one makes me think that you hate the Tau more then the Chaos, which is a pretty big deal for an imperial fan (sorry if your experiences haven't been very good with them I know how bad they can be to fight in the board game when they go full cheese)

And my beloved MTG is just as capable of "drama".

But we haven't had to producers removing whole sections from the lore.

In the meantime...

How many legs?

MTG is awesome ‡D but once I had an argument about how to make cheesecake and in the end we both made one are own way and they both came out as cheesecake (and very nice Cheesecake at that) my point is you can have a debate about anything if you have the time haha

So the cheesecake arguement doesn't relate to MTG?

Anyone can take a contrary position (play devil's advocate). You two seem to be expending a lot of energy on the canon of 40K.

Why don't Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone put milk on their cereal?

Because their cereal is soggy from all the tears of thinking about what GW has bec9me

Oh and I count five legs, unless one is its fifth leg

One leg

Two Legs

Three legs?

Squats are now proper non-canon, being stricken out of first the current universe and then out of all of 40K with mentions of them being edited out.

Slann, to my knowledge, aren't non-canon, if rarely mentioned. Lexicanum's refs for them date all the way back to when 40K was called "Rogue Trader" and the latest one is 4th edition rulebook.

Also, Slann don't have an army list.

That said, any official/Forge World miniatures, AFAIK, can be brought and played, provided you use current rules for them within reason! I.e. you can still play squat minies, just using IG 'dex.

I think back then (or was it H'rud or something) it was an almost throwaway pic of "other races" and there was speculation at the time.

One of the pics looked like Space Skaven :)

I win cuz i like the color pink :)

Aka "LadyPKchu".

I changed my name again cuz lately fluttershy has been more my favorite pony :3 I like her innocence, and I think I may get active in the fluttershy fan club. I really like a lot of the other main 6 too though.

I'm also a FlutterDash supporter.

I still love Korrina from pokemon a lot and plan on keeping my Korrina profile for now :P
