So I got to thinking, and maybe we should make a list on all the kinds of fanfics that are out there, this way people can come here find a story they want to read and read it... simple, perhaps this could be sticked?

There are literally WAAAAAAAAAAAY too many to post into an archive without them being generic "My little Dashie" or "Fallotu Equestria" hellspawns.

I would highly recommend you visit FiM fiction and start recording if you want to archive all fan fictions. Not to mention that's only one website. There's hundreds of thousands of fan fictions for the MLP:FiM universe and it would take a very considerably long time to find them all. I hope you plan on searching every corner of the internet.

 

Some useful resources for fanfics are Equestria Daily and FiM Fiction. I highly recommend going there. No seriously, you'll regret it otherwise. I know for a fact that a decent 100+ fan fics are posted or submitted to FiM Fiction daily. (More or less, a rough estimate from personal experience.) Also, for this archive to remain accurate it would need much hard work and updating every single day.

 

As great as it would be to have an archive like that, FiM Fiction and other websites like it already cover us on that. Not to mention it's just not worth the effort of making one that covers every corner of the web. (Essentially.)

 

What you could do is make an archive only for fan fictions posted to the forums here. That would be considerably smaller but would still be of great help to authors and readers that would rather not use a giant whopper of a site like the ones dedicated to fan fics.

 

EDIT: Not to be discouraging and all, it just seems like a little bit of an unnecessary task to me.
