The Hoof of Justice trotted up. "I know how to inject spiritual energy into physical strikes, but I didn't use that in this battle. I might have to. The strikes weren't having effect."

"Uh-... w- eh... um... here? Well uh... okay then" he took a deep breath and started to shift his form, although staying ethereal. He slowly started to make out the form of a werewolf, one by one the other wolfs jumped into him, increasing him in size. He ended up five times the size he was before, now standing bipedal, longer claws and teeth (and fur). His voice now deep and gruff, "As long as i have my other wolfs with me, i can do this. I have the same abilities as before while like this, but i have greater strength and speed. But that was the last thing i had to show you, i have already shown you everything else" he slowly morphed back again, the other wolfs joining his side once more. "The wolfs will only last 2 hours, it takes a whole day of being a spectral wolf to build up enough power to make these guys appear. They are exact copies of me, but don't speak"

He blushes, trying to fly and hold her in the air at the same time. He was momentarily distracted by her beauty, and the urge to kiss her again. She really had squirmed her way deep into her heart. "You find anything?" He asked after awhile, smiling. He was beginning to get lost in her eyes. Damn, Den! Focus! his inner voice shouted.

Nightfall started on his way to the warehouse.

 

Speedy stepped inside the warehouse.

"Ho ho! Police stuff, eh? Looks like I could take something here worth quite a bit then..."

She grinned. Official documents? No. Some computers? Too bulky. Weapons? Bingo. She started walking towards the weapons collection they had set up.

"Not really, but you do know that I have wings right?" Cherry Blossom gave Den a look of confusion as she was being carried into the air by him, but she overall flattered by his gentlecolt manners. She looked back down at the edge of the forest, but she could've sworn she heard that wolf again.

"Well then, you've showed me everything you knew and now you're useless to me. Time for you to die." (oh my goodness, the evil!) the Unicorn's body shifted and stretched into a humanoid form with light green skin, red pants, long red hair, and blue markings on its chest. "I am Rando, the pony hunter. Your usefulness to me is dead, and so, I'm afraid, are you." He held out his hand and shot out a powerful burst of Demonic energy directly toward Magneus.

Cherry Blossom was immediately startled by a loud noise. "Hey what was that loud noise?" Cherry Blossom asked as she looked down at the woods. "I'm going to go and take a look at it, if you don't mind." she added as she broke away from getting held by Den, and then to slowly gliding down to the forest.

The construction ponies looked at her.

 

"Uh... lady...." the foreman stuttered. "Are you authorized to be here?"

Wits caught up to Nightfall and started to brief him on the situation.

 

"...so even when we get the main location debombed, the warehouse is more defensible. I've got several candidates for positions lined up, and a number who are willing to be police officers, though not skilled in combat. Those we can use as peacekeepers and..."

"Uh... lady...." the foreman stuttered. "Are you authorized to be here?"

Wits caught up to Nightfall and started to brief him on the situation.

"... And? We could even train them if you wanted to help them get that paperwork done..."

 

 

She turned around and smiled at them.

"I prefer being called Speedy or ma'am. And authorization? Why would I need that, now?"

She hoped that those cops would not come back soon, or be close. She started reaching for her machine gun.

Sapphire grinned at the blue pony who had barged in after her teleportation, "I can't let you take anything from the police, but would you like a brownie?" She asked. Before excepting a browny her hoof was in the pony's mouth and out, having delivered a brownie. She smiled friendly.

 

Den nodded; he'd heard something to. He took the dented riot shield back out and flew next to Cherry.

"Dear, when I want sweets, I'll get them myself."

She smiled at Sapphire.

"Besides, I'm just here for the weapons. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll get back to what I want before the cops show up."

She turned back towards the weapons cache. What did she want, exactly..?

Cherry Blossom readied her weapon and started flying towards the direction of the commotion. "We need to find that unicorn, or he might cause some major trouble." she stated as she flew down to the forest and hovered to the direction of where the sound came from.

Den nodded, "Agreed, but we need a plan to beat him to. He's not some joe-schmuck; he's killed ponies in the past. What should we do?" He asked her.

 

Sapphire frowned, "If you want weapons so badly, why don't you just buy a registered one from a gun store? I really can't let you take anything, though. Nightfall would get angry with me, and he might stop liking me..." Her horn glowed and the gun-locker closed and had a bluish low to it; it was magically locked.

Wits and Nightfall neared the station. "The budget is holding excellently. We have plenty of money from boons from Celestia as well as the period that no one was drawing from it. We are going to take this back. But that demon concerns me."

The construction workers approached her. "Look, this is a police station, now. You can't just walk in here, and you need to leave."

"I think we should try to outflank him and hit him on the back and the front. He can't be able to concentrate fending off the both of us. We could go with another plan if you want." Cherry Blossom replied as she put her combat helmet back on and put on the tactical goggles as well. She also secured her combat vest, just in case.

"You're plan seems good enough for me," he said. Then he hesitated, then tapped her on the shoulder, waiting for her to turn around, "Just one thing before we go track him down," he said. He pushed her goggles up, and kissed her. When they broke, he felt extremely happy, and put his goggles down to cover his blushed. He nodded, "Ready."

Cherry Blossom blushed and smiled as she went into position behind the demonic unicorn. She put her goggles back on and started to advance towards the suspect, but very slowly so she would rush into a trap. Cherry Blossom was feeling nervous again, but she was feeling more confident after the kiss. Though she was feeling a bit more friskier than usual.

"Is Nightfall that captain? Do you like him or vice versa, because it would be a shame if you we're shot..."

Her face revealed braveness as she took three shots at Sapphire chest with her pistol.

 

Nightfall perked his ears.

"Gunshots from the warehouse. Isn't Sapphire already there?"

He almost ran off to investigate, then thought a moment about what to use and how to go in. He grabbed his pistol and motioned for Wits to grab his. He then crept up the one side of the entrance, standing there for a moment.

Sapphire instinctively through up a shield as soon as she saw the gun. The bullets hit the shield, slowed suddenly, and fell to the ground. She sighed sadly, and magically took out a pair of hoofcuffs, propelling them towards the pony. "Oh dear... You're under arrest for assaulting a police officer and discharge of a deadly weapon. Anything you say or do can and will be used against you in a court of law, so you have the right to remain silent. You have the right to an attourney-pony-guy. If you can't afford one, I can usually find one for you. You have the right to a phone call, and you have the right to eat my brownies. Do you understand your rights?"

 

Den was kreeping up on the demonic unicorn from the front. With any luck, he'd take the brunt of it while Cherry got the take down. He hoped she'd remember the magic drain button.

Nightfall crept around the corner, only to find the pegasus named 'Speedy' firing a gun at Sapphire. He lifted up his gun.

"Freeze!"

Rando turned around toward Cherry. He hadn't heard her, but despite her cautions, he could feel her draw near. "Another guest." he said, "It doesn't matter. All this means is that I'll have more times to practice my favorite techniques. Don't die too quickly now! I want the fun to last."

Magneus smirked, he was still in ethereal, the bolt just passed right through him. "I thought i explained this already, i am simply colored air, i can't be defeated unless i don't see it coming" he simply started to walk back to his apartment, not caring for such affairs that weren't his own, "You give a pony an offer and he doesn't take it, what gives..."

Cherry Blossom raised her gun at Rando and said, "I'm giving you one last, final, once in a lifetime chance to please surrender yourself." She continued to move forward slowly to Rano, but she getting even more nervous the closer she got. Her eyes widened and her irises shrunk at the same time.

Keeping his eyes on Cherry, Rando pointed one fist at Magneus and spin it in a rapid circle. The air around his fist swirled into a tornado. "This attack may Change your mind about being invincible. Tornado Fist!" he turned away from Cherry and lept at the wolf. Even if his fist missed, the sheer gale force would shatter his spiritual form.

"Hey! Please stop!" Cherry Blossom tried to yell as she pulled the trigger, but it turns out she still had the safety on. "Oh Cherry Blossom, you're such a ditz." she stated in her mind as she struggled to look for the safety button. Though the gun may have been jammed as well.
