Den started feeling Wit's aura helping him. He carefully directed him at Cherry's aura and continued to thread the bindings. He had finished to the tail, but he was going back, meticulously strengthening the bonds and repairing or replacing frayed ropes.

Cherry Blossom kept fighting, but Den's bonds were way too strong and she was being overpowered by his aura. Her beast-like nature just didn't stop, but it was starting to feel exhausted again and began to give in. Her anger simmered down into the pure white aura.

[Octavia's Bow 2,035]

Den finished and the ropes faded into tick blue soulbindings. They paused around her aura, then melted through them. Both of their eyes flashed, and they both developed headaches. Then Den murmured, "It is done challenger. I have won." The arena flashed, and their consciousness was sent back to their bodies. Den could feel Cherry's mind, like Sapphire's, and cautiously brushed up against it.

Cherry Blossom head began to throb painfully as she moved around wildly with her hooves to her head. She started smashing her head on a wall constantly, because of the sudden synchronization. It only gave her painful effects and her nose started to bleed from stress.

Den started holding his head, "Cherry, stop hitting yourself!" He put himself between her and the wall and stared her down. "Wits, how's your mind. You doing okay?" he asks the officer, then asks, "And why exactly are you here? It's not necessarily an terribly normal hour."

Cherry Blossom started hitting her head onto Den's chest when he came between her and the wall. Her head was unleashing a wave of pain on herself due to the strange ritual that just happened. She kept screaming as her head continued to hurt like a million deaths.

He cursed, and focused, channeling his energy across the link to soothe her, "Relax Cherry. The fighting is over..." He hugs her protectively and stares at Wits, as if to say, "If it's bad that you are here, get out." He had his suspicions that he was here to take Cerry Blossom, or himself. Or both.

Cherry Blossom started crying all of a sudden, as if somepony threw a brick at her head. Though she stopped violently hurting herself and continued sobbing when Den had hugged her. Her pain in her head was being eased by Den, who was apparently doing some kind of mind thing.

Magneus huffed and looked around, the bad area of the city was usually void of any living ponies, key word 'living'.

Magneus continued towards the police station, maybe he could get a good conversation there, and possibly pizza... or maybe donuts, donuts were always a substitute for pizza.

Nightfall had blurry vision as he woke up. He didn't remember too much. He did remember losing quite a bit of blood. And then the battle came back. Well, what he was conscious for. Was Rando dead..? Where were the others? ... Where was he? He almost sat up, but pain shot through him as he tried.

Jack sat in front of the mound of dirt where Rando was buried. There was nothing marking the grave, and that was threat he intended to keep it. Nobody needed to know Randos name. Nobody needed to remember him. Jack had sat there and thought for the entire night, as there was no room in his bed.

Wits looked at him levelly.

"We have unfinished business, you and I, but perhaps now is not the best time to deal with it." He started to back out. "Take care of her, and I'll be at the police station when you are ready." It was time to test how much of a policeman this vigilante was.

Den nodded, "Sir." He picked up Cherry Blossom and tucked her into her own bed. He watches her solemnly, cautiously hopeful. He kept a steady stream of his energy going between them, hoping her headache wouldn't last much longer. It was coming across their link, and he really wasn't surprised she'd been banging her head on the wall.

Jack called to Nightfall inside the cabin, "I know you're awake. I trust you've at least thought about what I said."

'We'll dig a grave for all of them, the seven of us. Seven graves will do for now.' This was what Karasu repeated in his mind as he gazed upon the city.

Magneus looked up at the police building, it didn't seem like anypony was inside, worth a shot though. He changed back into a pony and knocked on the door, hopefully that detective one would answer, potatoes were always fun to talk to... then again, sometimes potatoes can make you mad, and then they evolve into super potato.

Wits had indeed just entered the building and noticed the strange pony. "Hello," he said, somewhat grumiply, in a bit of a bad mood from recent events. "How can I help you? Got a crime? Want to join up? Criminal here to turn yourself in?" He laughed at last one. "It should be so easy."

Den looked away with regret and kissed Cherry on the forehead. He left the room, picking up all of his officer supplies and packing them up before he did so. He exited room, shedding a tear. He left a note to Neil outlining what he wanted done, and warning him that he might not be back in awhile. He looked into the mirror and his expression hardened. He half did his hoofcuffs on himself and began walking to the police facility.

'That's the one who tried to talk to me.' Karasu thoght as he watched Magneus. His sleuthing had paid off. He had found entertainment. 'But what was that he did earlier? He was a wolf, but now hes not. Perhaps I should take a closer look.' He jumped from the one story balcony and landed on the street without making a noise. He landed directly in Dens path, blocking him on accident.

Cherry Blossom woke up again and got out of her bed. Her bedroom was an absolute mess, but she didn't mind. It was all her fault anyway. She began to leave the house and head towards the hospital in Manehattan, but she put on a cloak before leaving. On the way she tried to make as least contact with anypony as much as possible. Though it was tempting for her to just kill somepony and rip their heart out. So, she actually did by dragging at least 3 ponies, one at a time and ripped out their hearts and devoured them. Cherry Blossom left the bodies in an alleyway.

Jack called to Nightfall inside the cabin, "I know you're awake. I trust you've at least thought about what I said."

 

"Honestly, Jack, I don't remember what you said... Something about you, Rando, and me having to kill somepony.."

Nightfall, despite just waking up from being knocked out, was tired. The only thing on his mind was Maven. He hoped she was safe, and that nothing too bad had happened to her.

Maven was in the shower, feeling dirt and grime running off of her. She stared at the wall thinking, I wasn't strong enough. Again. If Nightfall had been injured, there'd have been nothing I could've done. Dear Celestia, look at me. I call myself a hero, but can't even defend myself.

Cherry Blossom quickly left the alleyway with blood on her mouth and hooves. She tried to use the cover of the walls and her hooded cloak to avoid any attention. After a few minutes, she entered the hospital and began to prey on the hearts of everypony inside. A stallion quickly called and dialed for the police before his heart was torn out of him.

It took Den a while, but he began to think something was wrong. He passed an alley and saw the bloodstained walls and dead bodies. He paled, thinking something along the lines of 'Oh no.' He hid in a different alley and made his soul follow the link until he made it to Cherry Blossom. "Cherry, what are you doing?!?!" He thought-spoke to her.

"Oh you know me, remember?" he looked at Wits and sighed, "The wolf? Ya know... its probably better if i just 'show' you" he said and transformed back into the wolf, it was a tiring process, but sometimes well worth it. "I am dubbed the villain name 'Ethereal Wolf', but please just call me Magneus, all these titles are worthless. Anyway, just came for a chat, possibly something to do. What were you planning on doing?"

Cherry Blossom's ears perked up just as she pulled out the heart of a nurse. She didn't reply and continued her mass killing spree as most of the hospital was a massacre. There were bodies everywhere and blood was splattered along the walls of the hospital. Even patients were left dead in their wheelchairs, hospital beds, and crutches.
