This is something I wrote just now to copy and paste into the several pony Facebook groups I'm a part of... but since I don't see there's a topic on this yet, it'll make a good opening post too.

 

 

 

 

 

*MLP:FIM COMIC BOOK SERIES NOTICE*

 

Pre-Orders are now being taken for these comics. Equestria Daily has reported TFAW.com (Things From Another World) is listing them for pre-order. However, someone posted in the EqD comments an alternate site called Midtown Comics NYC, and knowing full well how fast bronies buy up seemingly everything to the point of sellout (from the Derpy figure, the Toys R Us Zecora figure, the Enterplay trading cards), I'm not taking any chances on these comics and I've ordered mine from Midtown.

Not taking shipping into consideration, the comics available at Midtown have slightly larger discounts than at TFAW:

Bear in mind that when you order from Midtown, they don't tell you how much you're being charged for shipping until they actually post your order out to you. I went with Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope as my shipping method, since they tell you on the Help page that it costs $13.95 to send to Canada/Mexico and that it will arrive in 4 to 7 business days after shipping. Your credit card is also charged the full price of the order (sans shipping) at the time of submitting order confirmation. No idea what TFAW's checkout procedure is like.
