And you are right that you make things up in roleplays, but it vary's from roleplay to roleplay. Example: Equestrian scholar is all about detail, he wants well though out posts and a plot that makes sence. He doesnt want you to make something up to save your oc. Example: if you oc were for example captured by an group of 10 soldiers, odds are that your best way of getting out alive might be to try and negotiate for your life. You cant write that you managed to kill all of them by yourself.

 

It needs to make some sence. Do you understand what i mean?

 

I havnt started working on your oc's yet sorry. I'll get on it when i get a free moment.

That wasn't so much PFM as it was sleight of hand. Someone waves an arm, you naturally watch the arm, not the hand that's putting the watch or whatever into your breast pocket. That's showbiz.

But anyway... be carefull, make sure that your post's make sence and dont get yourself in to much danger, cuz it you dont have your faction supporting you in a big battle, your screwed. And this also goes for the rest of you guys too.

Either EquestrianScholar or discorded will tell you so(I'm not sure if there are others helping them out or not). If I had the ability to approve your bio, I would've done so right here right now. If your OC and my OC meet, it'll be pretty interesting( my character is anit-Earthborn).

Not sure. You should be in. Scholar has been absent these past few days and i'm nto sure when he will reapear. But lookin' at your bio you SHOULD be in before this starts (which hopefully is soon.)

I can't speak for Scholar or Discorded, but I think it's safe to assume N will not be accepted and still be anywhere near the character you describe him to be at the present. In part, due to the little detail attributed to his character, the fact that he is king of an organisation that is neither canon nor in this roleplay, and the fact that he's completely derived from a videogame character. Ghetsis and Alli will run into similar problems in being accepted. You might try creating a new OC that doesn't directly reference Pokemon. Maybe create yourself a Ponysona, and someone could work with you on that from there. Or, base a pony off of a pokemon, but make it unique from that. Absol, for example, would translate into a fine pony, but it would have to be gone about in a different way. I'd be willing to provide any assistance you might request.

I agree with Descant. If I were Scholar or discorded, I wouldn't approve it at all.

 

My ponysona Star Rain has about half of my personality traits and abilities with some extra ones added in. When making a ponysona, you should do the same thing and make an OC with your personality and talents!

 

You can do that or you can make your OC a typical something. For example, one of Descant's OCs (Evergreen) is a typical tree-hugger who loves everything floral and is good and happy unless some pony does anything wrong to her plants.

 

Scholar loves separate bios with lots of detail. When making a separate bio for this RP, tell us what your character's reaction to the Royal Sisters' disappearance was like, why did they join whatever House or group you choose, what are their feelings toward the other groups. Also keep in mind, if you make an OC solely for this roleplay, you can't use it for other role plays unless you go back and edit it. Add as much detail as you can!

Some suggestion from me. First, please insert some more letters for your OC name. Then describe about her/his cutie mark. How did (s)he get it and what does it means. Like Magical said, why did they join the faction. You must put that in the RP Bio.

 

If you can, explain why does (s)he has a personality like that. It can be determined by her/his past. My OC Cunning Horn for example, he has a bad foalhood and it made him savvy and sly like he's now (He's my ponysona from the dark side ). It also can determine the OCs goal. Likes and dislikes. Fears and loves. From there, you can choice what faction does fit her/him most.

 

About title and something like that, it depends on the RP. You can simply state your OC as a military general or even a king, but it would be so very nice if you tell her/his story from the time (s)he joined the army or the court of nobles.

Righto then, thanks for filling me in. I just didn't want to get all psyched up for the RP and then find out I'm not actually in.

His problem with your bio is fairly straightforward. The backstory talks about the CKKA and the CKC and those sorts of groups, as well as the War of Celestian Ideology. No such war is canon, nor any kind of fanon that is relevant to this roleplay. I'm sure you could find a way to make that work.

 

They had a problem with my backstory at first, as well. I had a big old portion dedicated to Descant's friendship with Octavia. And I had to omit that to make it work. It shouldn't be hard to edit his bio and still make it work.

No, what I mean by "He's run into problems" is that he said he would write a bio for me, and then I didn't hear from him for five days, and THEN he said it was taking longer than he expected, and THEN I didn't hear from him for two weeks.

Hello, I have caught up on the reading of this thread and I will go over bios, I have a friend helping me with Dogmatic as I just could place what was 'wrong' with it. Tosh and her father looked over it and said the big problem was how it was written, Ed (her father) saying it played out much like a military report and not a roleplay bio. Tosh and Ed are actually apart of my roleplay group, Tosh is a fan of MLP:FiM but her father is a 'neutral party'. Another thing that was caught by Ed was the fact that there was a contradition because of the bio saying the city the griffin grew up in was a 'everyone fights or die' and the uncle just pretty much laying down to be killed went against such. The suggestion given was that the uncle fought but wasn't strong enough.

 

I will give more on the other bios once I looked over them, sorry for not being on for a while.
