Oh Puh-lease, "Hello, i'm Storm Spark! ALICORN IN THE COMET!" what is this guy trying to achieve by bragging?

Marisa scoffed at her own thoughts, she hadn't thought like that since she was very young, and those were dark times for her... she had to forget about all that, she didn't want to go through it again.

She quickly ate her eggs and ran upstairs to her room, she laid down on the bed and sighed, "Whats wrong with me? Whats wrong with HIM?"

"Nice to meet you, Storm Spark! I'm Shooting Star." Star turned to him after eating his eggs. "Sorry about the lack of rooms. We all got misleaded by the house anounce, and now we have to share the house... But I'm sure it will be fun!" Shooting Star gave himself a bit of positive thoughts. Opal had offered his room to share, so everything was ok for now. "It's nice to have an Alicorn with us. Say, are you somehow related to the royal family?..." He couldn't hold back his curiosity.

"Hello, Storm Spark, my name is Ice Opal." Ice Opal didn't quite understand what the pony meant with "Alicorn in the Comet", but he didn't feel the need to ask why. He headed toward the table with his now half cold eggs and spread some salt and pepper onto them. He began to carefully slive around the yolk, which he always saved for last.

Nimbus calmed himself down. He cleared his throat. "Ahem... Sorry, I don't know where that came from. I'm usually a bit more... "reserved" than that." He took an apple and a book out of one of the bags and took a seat next to Ice.

 

"Sky and I used to go to the same school, but as I said before, that was a while back." He opened the book and started to read. He only looked up from it once, to say: "In fact, it was so long ago that I had completely forgotten that he lived in Ponyville."

"Hi everypony, it's nice to meet you all!"he said in happiness

"....and.....Well, My past is a little long....maybe I can tell you all tonight...I am related to the royal family but....well....that was something that happened in my past." he told them, trying not to cry and put on his best poker face.

 

Storm looked over at the pony who had stormed out of the room and was confused as to why she did.

Was it something I said? he wondered.

"Did you want to hear my past now or later tonight?" he asked every pony.

"Sure, we'd love to listen to your story! In fact, I'm also interested to know about Nimbus and Sky." Star thought for a moment, looking blankly at the dirty plates. "...OH!! We should do a story session tonight! We could stay up late telling our personal stories and such! It will be great for us to know each other better." Star jumped from his chair in excitement. "What do you guys think? We can get some snacks and maybe play some games!"

" That dirty rotten no good businesspony he still had the add for the house in the paper can you believe that!" announced Kalypso "but don't worry i went and talked to the editor and they took it out. Well on a lighter note has everypony had breakfast yet?"

Nimbus looked up from his book. He was a bit surprised that anypony would take interest in his past, but he agreed that it would be fun to hear about everyponies experiences.

 

He took another apple from the bag and gently tossed it at Kalypso. "Welp, everyone looks well fed, so I guess we're all okay, how about you?"

Ice Opal finished his eggs and washed off the plate in the sink before putting it back in the drawer. "I'm going to go around Ponyville just for the sake of it. I'll see you ponies later." He trotted out the door and absently turned left, going down the road in the direction of Sweet Apple Acres.

Cloud whisper were sitting on her dirty small carpet with a small bowl filled with some bits next to her, asking ponys that came by to help her get enough mony to rent a place.

she felt tired of trying, and thought about giving up, and trying to get back to her home, thinking to herself 'i wish i wouldnt have to go back to there, ill try my luck with one last pony, if i wont get more then 20 bits, im going back'

she tried to look which of the ponys looks like they has money, she saw a bright yello pegasus walking by, he didnt looked hungry like most of the people who passed there, she stand up, came to him, and said "would you mind donating some bits? i really need them to get someplace to be in"

Ice Opal walked along the streets, still a relatively long distance from Sweet Apple Acres. He looked to the left and to the right, surveying the scene, until he came across a pony sitting on a carpet, not seeming to have enough money to survive much longer. He watched as she went up to a yellow pegasus, who seemed to just walk away, and it looked like she had given up all hope. Trotting up to her, he placed a few bits in front of her and asked, "Are you alright?"

she looked up apon the pony that just have donated to her money without her asking

"yes, i need a place to live in, i have tried to get enough money to get a place for a while, but it seems like i dont have enough even for a small apartment. i think you can have your money back, ill probably have to get back to cloudsdale, so i wont need it"

she signed, and looked up in fear

No place for the pony to live, needing money, Ice Opal knew that he couldn't just leave her there. "I think there's room in the...dorm I rented for another pony to stay, I think I can persuade the other ponies to let you stay." He offered a hoof to help the pony to her hooves.

she looked at him shocked, she couldnt believe that she got that lucky. she stood with the help of him up taking the bowl and the carpet

"thank you very very much! i cant believe it realy happend, i promise ill help at anything you need in the house!

btw, im cloud whisper, whats your name?"

"My name is Ice Opal." He regretted not being able to get some apples for everypony at the house to eat, but it was best not to take a detour. "The house is this way, but it's quite big, and you'll have to share with somepony else." He began to lead her toward the home.

"i really dont mind sharing if i have a place to be in, plus, being alone is depressing"

she followed him to the house, thinking, finally ill have a real place to live in

when they get to the house she looked at it shocked

"you werent kidding when you said its big, didnt you?

Grinning, he replied, "Nope." He looked toward the other ponies in the kitchen. "We have another guest, everypony. Her name was...sorry, what was your name?" Remembering it, he quickly continued, "Her name is Cloud Whisper." He feared a bad reaction that he had brought another pony, but he wasn't too worried. He could simply explain why he had done it.

Nimbus stared at Ice with a slightly confused look on his face. Then he looked at the newcomer. Then back at Ice. "Ehm... Ice, she-..." He cut himself off mid-sentence and flew up to Ice and pushed him back into the hallway. He looked back into the room at Cloud Whisper and said: "There's fruits in the bag next to where I was sitting miss Whisper, Feel free to take some." He continued pushing Ice and closed the door behind him.

 

In the hallway Nimbus paced back and forth for a while before finally saying: "Ice, she looks a bit... ehm... oh dear, how to put this... "unclean". Where did you..."

"She was on the street. She needed a home, and I couldn't just leave her there. Don't tell me you wouldn't have done the same thing," Ice said confidently, though he was unsure if the last statement was true. With such a small number of ponies showing sympathy, it was hard for him not to.

Quillusion came down the stairs after finishing cleaning her room, taking a shower, and brushing her mane. She looked at all the ponies downstaris as she walked into the kitchen "Wait are there even more ponies now?" She asked.Great, why are there always more.

"Huh? Wait, she paid for the rent as well?" If that was the case, Shooting Star would be impressed. The amount of ponies dragged by Galore's trick was increasing nonstop. Star quickly noticed by the newcomer's awful state though, resembling some kind of homeless pony in a way. As Nimbus dragged Ice away from the room, Star kept staring at the pegasus mare. "Uh... Well, have at it! Eat as much as you want." as he pointed to the table, filled with leftovers from the breakfast. "So, um... Cloud Whisper... May I ask... Where are ya from?"

 

Shooting Star grinned nervously as Quillusion descended the staircase. "Eyup... We're multiplying... heh..."

Cloud Whisper started eating when another pony came downstaires asking about the number of the dorm members and looking unhappy

"umm... i guess so, its... well... nice to meet you too" she looked nervously at quillusion, thinking 'she is not really the company type, that might be bad'

 

she looked at shooting star

"well... i have some money" she handed the bowl "its not a lot..."

"and about the other qeustion, im from cloudsdale, i left because of some fight i had with my family, and im here in ponyville for a while now"

"Oh, hey there." Quillusion said, looking at the new pony. "So I assume you fell for the little trick also and will now be staying with us?" She asked. This is just to many ponies. How many more will there be. Quillusion wondered, looking over the crowd. That was when she realized the new pony would probably be staying with her in her room.

Nimbus heartily laughed at Ice's remark. "You know what, you're exactly right. I would have done the exact same thing. Sorry for pressing you about it." He scratched the back of his head. "I... was a bit rude about it, wasn't I? I'm going back to properly introduce myself."

Ice Opal returned to the kitchen with Nimbus, happy that at least one pony agreed with him. Now hopefully the other ponies would agree to the situation and let her stay. There was no doubt that Cloud Whisper would be disappointed if she was to be told to leave by somepony, so he would have to rely on fate.
