How would you feel and what would you do if MLPforums dissapeared?

So, all the ponies that were online on september 9 of 2012, at arounf 10:00pm or so, experienced some weird the derping of the site, the reason, some attack that I don't remember anymore, well, the site wasn't working or loading right ...this was the first time I've experienced something like this for as long as I've been on here.

 

actually I felt pretty frustrated that I couldn't get on, and I felt how important this forum is to me. I have so much fun in here, the people in here is amazing and funny, the discussions are interesting, the art too, I've met incredible people on here that I appreciate like they were gold and much more

I just can't function correctly without MLPforums, I need my daily dose of this forums.

 

 

So, I was wondering, if one day, all of the sudden, this site is down for good for X, Y or Z reason, how would you react, how would you feel? what if you haven't back up your best friends personal info and now you can't contact them ever again.

 

I'll post my thoughts as the thread goes on.

I'd probably shrug it off and move on with my life.

This site has been attacked before, nothing everyone couldn't handle. Although people were a bit miffed.

 

If this site ever does go down for good, it better be a damn good reason, y'know?

 

Besides, we would still have the Skype group, Steam group, and any other thing that keeps us all together so we wouldn't truly lose contact with our friends.

Well, I would be annoyed, and confused, and talk to people on these forums on skype and be all like, "YO BRO WHAT HAPPENED"

First i would be kind of sad i guess. Losing such a great forum is hard.

But in the end you would get over it, and those you feel like close friends got you on Skype so no harm done there.

I truly would be pretty sad. So many friends I've made on here, if they don't have a skype, would be lost like . People like @CrazyClay, , , etc. all have XBOX so I wouldn't be TOO bummed when it comes to them. o:

Well, I’ve only been on this forum for three weeks but I already love it, I spend a lot of time here and I have a blast, I love discussing ponies or just talking about life with like-minded people. With that said I’d be very sad, I’d to find somewhere else to spend my time, and I bet it wouldn’t be nearly as fun as MLPforums.

If the site were to just disappear I think I'd treat it the same way I did all the other forums I belonged to. That is just say ok, try and see if I still remained in contact with friends I made. Then get on with my life, join another forum or something.

Well, if for some reason it did go down, my initial reaction would be disappointment, with a fine grind of sadness, but in the end, like others have said, we have a Skype group to keep in contact, also other sites such as Deviantart. I mean of course it would suck butternubs, but life goes on, and we would get through it.

 

But there are amazing people here, great friends that share good times, and lots of love! I wouldn't want this place to go. But would deal with it if it did.

xD When I'm NOT posting the hell out of the, correction, Random Chat Thread, I'm usually doing something else in my life or on Xbox with those lads. Usually in a party with them discussing random stuffs.

The first thing I would do is to send an email to Feld0, ask what the hell went wrong. Then I'll try to contact my friends on skype or facebook to see if it's possible to meet again in another forum. If that's not possible, well... I'll be damned

I would be pretty bucking sad actually. This is the most social I've been. Ever. Even if it is all online, its still an improvement. I would eventually find another outlet for my pony needs and then I would eventually feel the same there as I do here, but I really don't think it would be the same. Thankfully, I do have some kind of way of contacting those I've actually gotten closer to. But the others without anything are just kinda gone forever.

I mean... I'd be extremely sad, to be honest. I wouldn't be as involved with this place as I am if I didn't honestly love it, and the community here. This place has been extremely good to me in many ways; as such I want to return the favor by doing all that I can to see it continue to flourish, even if that does sometimes involve making unpopular decisions and announcements.

I would be insanely sad. Everyone here is so freaking amazing, and as far as I know I would have no idea how to contact them ever again(As I don't use the skype group). So yeah, it would be like losing all my friends, it would be like losing my second home. The times I have spent with you guys has been freaking amazing, and I have loved every minute of it.

I would miss the forums, and the nice community. But I suppose we must realize, EVERY site that exists and ever will exist will go away at some point.

I would be really sad, I've only been part of 2 forums in my life, a nintendo forum, which is NOTHING compared to this one, in here you feel like the people are REAL friends.

I spend more time on here than in facebook and twitter combined, I don't even use my PS3. Drawing ponies is so addicting and I feel so thankful that people appreciate my art, that if this site one day vanished, I would feel destroyed and paranoid because I wouldn't know what to do with my time (I even use my "responsabilities" time to be on here)
