murkyx 904 September 11, 2012 Share September 11, 2012 (edited) When I read the DVD description, I immediately began thinking of this movie: I mean, a civilization, which has forgotten it's history, is trapped in a place otherwise uninhabitable, residing in a bubble of paradise, but lives on borrowed time. It contains a Crystal Heart, which has the ability to save them, but requires that the people remember their heritage, and responds to the royalty of the civilization. (And is helped by a team, led by an adorkable scholar, who has a book that contains that lost history) Kind of goes hand and hand, doesn't it? Also it matches the recent strategy of MLP in emulating more Disney material. If my theory is correct, and they actually are being inspired off of this, I'm going to fangasm so hard. I dont know though all I can think after seeing the apocalyptic Ponyville Season 3 looks like it is gonna get FUNKY. I can't wait to see the crystal ponies and all the adventure coming up. I bet (or rather, I know) it'll shock us with some insane twist like MLP has done before. IT'S GONNA BE SO. AWESOME! Nice! But I would enjoy it more if for once a two parter episode did not revolve around Twilight. I love Twilight sparkle but it makes it seem like the show is only about her. Exactly what I was thinking. I love Twilight too although I'm kind of bored of it being so much about her (I still want Twi in it of course). I'd like to see the other characters getting some seriously epic adventure. How does an empire "suddenly appear" and why does it "need protection"? Ink 191 September 13, 2012 Share September 13, 2012 well if you knew the entire plot what would be the point in watching it it wouldn't be interesting its like watching the movie before reading the book I'm aware, that's why I said "yet". Of course I expect it to make more sense when it comes out, the MLP writers are superb, I'm just saying that as it is the summary isn't really anything special. To be honest, it was pretty obvious what it was going to be about, what with the songs released at Comic Con. I frequently edit my new posts to fix grammatical errors or to reword stuff, so sorry if I make it look like I'm forging my messages to change the meaning of anyone's replies or something. They have a large selection of DVDs. It was one of my favorite movies growing up. Hence why I said if the Crystal Kingdom was based off of it, I'd totally freak out because it was so amazing.
