So, this has already been on my DeviantArt account for several weeks to a month now, but I'm an attention grabbing loser and decided to post it here for you all to see.

PRAISE ME! Just kidding. It's not that great, anyways. The modeling might be good, but the textures are mediocre - It's a pain in the arse for me to do the UV mapping.

Love it! :) I mean it, too.

This is so cool! Obviously it took you quite a lot of time to do this. But the effort paid off! I really loved the detail, and every design on it seems to be correct. I liked how you added the side and back view. Gives us more in-depth of the shield! The shading also made the shield 20% cooler.

I would love to see you try to draw the Master Sword. Now THAT would be cool! I like the drawing, and it's too bad nobody barely sees it! I'm sure you'll get more views once everpony sees this. ;)

The Master Sword? I've actually already modeled it (not the Ocarina of Time design, mind you, but the A Link to The Past design. I like that manifestation of it best). Now I just need to add textures... as you probably guessed from my first post, that part is a tad troubling for me. But It'll be done eventually, once I have the time.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback! I honestly thought the massive amounts of shading made everything look too flashy/metallic. Probably just me though.

I love the model. Its preety detailed and much better then anything i've ever done.

As for texturing, the latest photoshop can import 3d models and you can actually paint and apply textures on the model. It helped me with texturing a lot, so i suggest you give it a try.

I actually like that better than the one in OoT. I really do like the modelling job and the textures too. I'm legitimately impressed, bro.

Really? It honestly baffles me that you like it that much. Thank you!

Oh? That sounds splendid! How does it work, though? Does it unwrap the model, or does it have a 3D view? I'll have to look into getting it - I currently use Elements 9.

Yeah, it's freakin' great! It looks like the Wind Waker style, and that's a compliment. I freakin' love Wind Waker's art style.

In fact I kinda just like all things that look cel-shaded.

It's ironic how I fall just to get back up again...

It would seem that your model has some tris on it ;P

Looks good otherwise, disregarding the textures of course.

Model a show accurate pony. That would be impressive. lol

Well I'm glad you like it! And yes, Wind Waker is a great game. It follows close behind Ocarina when it comes to which games I like better, Ocarina being my favorite.

Yeah, heh, it's a habit of mine to forget about merging faces and lowering the poly count. It always comes to mind after I'm done texturing it, at which point I'm too lazy to do it and re-texture.

You actually have a 3D view of the model and you paint on it, thats exactly why its so great. Im not sure what formats it supports though. I worked in 3DS max and it imported .3ds with no problems, but im not sure about Maya, Lightwave, or whatever you are using...

I was wrong btw, it wasnt latest photoshop (cs6), but cs4. I havent done any texturing or image editing for some time so i lost track of photoshops there :)

Anyways, here's a preview:
