Flaret gasped, almost tripping over her own hooves as she turned around. She yelled and threw up a shield around her and Fluttershy, her eyes wide and almost glowing as she concentrated. "Help!" she yelled, as loud as she could. What had she gotten herself into? The concentration she needed to hold up the shield caused her body to shake.

"Oh no you don't I call that book!" Shadow Stalker yelled, the shadow she had took forming into a short sword in her hands. the sword was pure black, the hilt and the blade. The blade however was shining as if it was made of metal. "Now then, toss me the book, and I will make this pony leave you alone to." Shadow said to Flaret, holding the sword in front of her.

Rarity looked at Flaret and Fluttershy passing them, in a huge hurry. She yelped with horror and galloped after them. She saw Flaret into a shield, and conjured up a wall of Jewels to protect them.

 

"WHAT, in Celestia's name have you gotton INTO?!" Rarity yelled, shooting some sharp gems at Butajire, or whatever his name was.

"I don't know!" She made the shield surround Rarity too, and though it required a lot of her concentration it didn't seem to drain her too much. "And I'm sure as hay not giving you the bucking book!" she yelled at Shadow Stalker. They were protected, for now, but what would happen if they actually got to the book?

Most of the skuas collided with the shield and tried to eat though it, but a few of them flew past it, still chasing Fluttershy and Flaret. "Now that you have witnessed the most awesome display of power ever unleashed in this world, there should be no question over who the greatest showman is!" Butajiri yelled, "Now give me that book!"

Storm Fire smiled at the pink pony giving a bow "Hello the names Storm Fire and I'm the fastest pony in all of Ponyville and second fastest in Equestria." Storm Fire was quite proud of those titles on his jacket was a patch that he showed to Pinkie the logo and name of his flight school that had just opened up here in Ponyville.

 

A thunderous boom echoed in Shadow Stalker and Butajiri's heads "YOU FOOLS STOP YOUR BICKERING AND GET MY BOOK YOU BOTH WORK FOR ME NOW STOP ARGUING AND GIVE CHASE!" Nova Star yelled into their minds she was taxing the limited power she was able to use in the rely she was trapped in that book was all she had to see the outside world and to escape her prison.

((The shield goes around them, like a bubble, Butajiri ^^" They wouldn't be able to get past.))

 

Flaret, slowly getting drained because she had to hold up the shield, stepped closer to Rarity. "W-we need to destroy it," she said. She knew it was only a matter of time before the shield would break and they would get to them. And if only a book could unleash this, she didn't even want to think about what was talking behind the book.

"I don't know who you are, you fool," Butajiri said, "But I do know that if you want that book, I want it too!" He swung The Banshee Shriek above his head like a baton. It sounded like a cry of agony, and produced a horrible sound that created great pain in every ponies ears. "Did you know that the Shrill Call of The Reaper causes slow death to anyone too weak to resist its call? I, for one, think it sounds like a chorus of singing cherubs, but what matters is how it sounds to all of you!"

Pinkie looked at the badges, "ooo, pretty!" she said happily. She looked up at Storm fire, "names, Pinkie Pie!" she said happily. She paused, "I'm the fastest talker in all of Equestira!" she said trying to show off. She paused, "I throw a mean party to!" she said joyfully.

Hank looks at what he just witnessed. Once the cry happened he holds his head shaking it. "Is this the bad feeling you had Rarity!" He looks at the ones who are trying to get the book as Theta appears.

Hank gave a smile "theta surround the ones who are after the pony with the book."

Theta nods "ok." Soon a yellow shield spins around the ones who are trying to get Flaret. This shield looks different than the others. Its a mirror shield. What ever they launch at it from the inside would reflect back.

Hank holds his head "lets go now."

(The thousand skulls are still outside the shield, leaving the barrier would result in being torn to pieces.)

 

Butajiri stuck The Banshee Shriek into the ground. "Rock-splitting Cry: Banshee's Wail!"

 

A piercing scream came from the sword and was only amplified by the mirror barrier. The blade of the Banshee Shriek glowed the color of the skulls it produced. The earth beneath the sword began to crack, and a path below the barrier was starting to form.

((Usually she can't do stuff like this, but else we don't have any way to fight back :/ ))

Flaret, who couldn't hold the barrier up any longer, suddenly released it and striked at the skulls with an incredible flash of light that would probably drive them away in an instant. She threw off her saddlebag and casted another spell at the book, attempting to make it go up in flames with another surge of magic. The magic had made her pant heavily.

Storm Fire suddenly caught on to what was going on in Ponyville and took off in a blaze of fire landing next to Flaret and the rest of the ponies defending her and Fluttershy. He stomped his foot sending a wall of fire up between them and the ponies that were supposedly after this book "Everypony stay behind me got that." He wasn't about to let anypony do any harm in the place he was now calling his home now. The only chance they had was to destroy the book if they wanted to escape these two obviously deadly ponies.

 

Nova Star could sense that this battle was getting out of hand and too many ponies were joining the ones protecting the book she had seen enough to know that these two would be great help in her mission. She conjured up all of the magic that she could the dark aura leaving the book completely when the book suddenly opened up pages flipping a dark orb appearing in the center fold. It expanded going around all of the ponies protecting the book snuffing out Storm's flames like they were nothing and hitting the two ponies wanting the book. The book had vanished along with the two ponies trying to steal the book they had been moved outside of Ponyville the book now lying in the grass between the two ponies.

Rarity sighed. She knew what she must do!

 

Rarity used her magic to get the book before it Teleported, and used a book about fashion as a decoy. The book about fashion teleported before the other one could. Then she...

 

RAN FOR HER LIFE!

 

"TWILIGHT! I NEED YOUR HELP! ANYPONYYYY!" Rarity screamed dramaticlly, hurrying over to Sweet Apple Acres.

Hank looks at Flaret "somepony help her." He closed his shield and puts it around Flarets go enforce it. "We need to destroy that book. Or at least make it so they cant get it." He kept his shield up as the attacks came. He felt his shield crack and he collapes on the ground trying to keep the shield up. "Does anypony have ideas?" He sounds tired as his shield is near destroyed.

"STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!" A voice boomed from behind everyone.

Celestia stepped into the room and fired a single bolt of magic at the book, trapping it in a protective aura. She then looked around to make sure that everyone wasn't hurt. "What is happening here?" she demanded

Butajiri stuck his blade in the grass between Shadow and the book. "I don't know what just happened." He said, "But this book belongs to me now! I will become famous and I don't need amateurs like you impeding my progress!" He reached out his free hoof to grab the book.

[Shift 4,272]

"You take it! I can't STAND it's darn SMELL!" Rarity piped, calmed down now. Perhaps the book made her feel agitated.

 

"Its weird...like it's corrupted with dark magic or something." Rarity muttered. "Two ponies wanted to steal it, but I used this book about fashion as a decoy. I dare say they are fighting over something as pathetic as a fashion book, but they think it is this book."

Rarity skidded short and turned around, headed toward Celestia.

 

"Th-These ponies wa-want this BOOK!" Rarity screamed, levitating the book toward Celestia.

 

"You take it! I can't STAND it's darn SMELL!" Rarity piped, calmed down now. Perhaps the book made her feel agitated.

 

"Its weird...like it's corrupted with dark magic or something."

 

(The book isn't there anymore. I don't understand it either, but it's been teleported into a field outside of town...)

 

Butajiri snatched the book and pulled it to is lap. He still didn't understand what was so special about it, but it was important, and that means he wanted it.

[before the book teleported, Rarity switched books. So she has the real one and some other guy has the fake one.]

 

Rarity collapsed on the floor, and sighed. It was a long day and she needed her rest. She lost her mind a couple of minutes ago...she didn't feel like herself.

 

"I...Gosh...I knew we were in trouble. And that book...that book spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E." Rarity muttered, she passed out.

Hank stopped his shield panting "the book its gone..." He sighed as he slowly gained his energy as he walks after Rarity hoping to find out who this Twilight is and wondering how she can help. Once he gained enough energy he runs after Rarity. He saw her run in another direction seeing Celestia and sighs. He soon caught up panting. "Rarity the book is gone... We lost it. Lets just go home and rest."

He watches her pass out and carries her to her house. He walks inside setting her in her room. He places her on her bed and tucked her in. He soon passes out on the floor in the room.

Pinkie pie blinked, she paused as she looked around.

"odd, Oh hello Celestia!" she said happily.

She paused as her hole body shook.

"Twitcha-Twitch!" she shouted.

She stayed quite for a bit.

"I haven't had a full body twitch in a long time!" she stated.

"You know what that means?! Remember what happened to twilight?!" she gasped before putting her umbrella hat on.

Celestia took the book from Rarity, "where is the REAL book?" she demanded, "if it is causing this much pain to my subjects, then it must be destroyed!"

Celestia was slightly taken aback by her tone of voice, it sounded far more aggressive than she intended, almost as if something else was influencing it

Rarity looked at the book. She didn't switch it in time.

 

She looked at Pinkie too.

 

"Uhum...yes...I know. Something big is going to happen...are we too late? I pray to Luna everything will be alright." Rarity said, looking up. She didn't switch the book in time and something horrible was happening...

Hank comes running up. seeing Pinkie celestia and hearing what Rarity said. He gave a nodnods "i hope nothing will happen... Rarity you need your rest... Lets go home." He hugs her "im sorry i couldnt help." He felt guilty "i guess i had the Beta AI active, she is about failure." He sighs "Rarity come on lets go and rest."
