Hank smiles at Rarity "you know ii have a special device that has been said that if sold, whoever sold it will be rich forever..." He gave a deep sigh. "i guess you all want to see what i look like?"

 

He removes his hood as the ponies there could see his face. He had a scar over his left eye. His hair is a mess, and he has 12 small drilled in panels on his neck. Each one having the same emblem on his cloak. Each panel has a different color based on the AI fragment he has.

Fluttershy, wondering where Rarity went after her strange and sudden leaving, left her house again to go to Rarity's house. As she approached Rarity's house, she saw a bunch of ponies around a strange hooded figure. The figure took of his hood and Fluttershy saw the back of his head, which was a mess of hair. From the side, she could see some bright light reflecting off of something in the region of his neck and became both frightened and curious at the same time. She dared not approach something, especially seeing just how many ponies she didn't recognize were around.

Storm Fire stared at the pony with the strange glowing figures he wasn't sure what to make of them but they were definitely different "I don't know what those things are but they are so cool!" He looked around seeing the ponies standing there when his eyes caught sight of a blue pony with a rainbow mane and tail. Storm Fire didn't know what to say he hadn't seen another pony so beautiful.

A dark aura permeated from the book its cover had strange writing and a picture of a solar eclipse with what seemed to be skeletal ponies rising from the ground. The eyes of one of the ponies glowed red letting a sinister voice echo the word "Shenku" before more of the eyes started glowing "You aren't the one that I'm waiting for I require the one with the dark powers." The eyes faded but aura remained even more sinister looking than before.

(lol sorry flaret I thought you were waiting on somepony else.)

 

Flared let out a little yelp, startled by the book. She dropped it as it started to glow and talk and just stared at it from the corner of the room. When it was done speaking she approached again. "Dark powers? No, nonono. You're not getting anywhere near that pony. She's done enough already." With levitation she picked up the book again, her heart pounding. She should bring this to a guard, or at least see Twilight Sparkle about it. She knew Celestia, she'd know what to do. Dark magic was strictly prohibited in Equestria.

Rarity gasped at Hank, and ran inside of the parlor. She came back with a brush, comb, ad shampoo.

 

"DARLING? YOU MANE IS IN THE WORST MESS EVER!" Rarity piped, putting shampoo on Hank's mane and fixing it up with some magic.

 

"Those scars..hm..I know! I'll put hoof polish on them and you'll look like a charm! Or would you want to keep them? They make you look proud, and like a man hon." Rarity asked herself.

As Spearmint ran off and finished her deliveries, she wondered what she had just seen.

They certainly aren't normal, that I know for sure. But what ARE they? I know they're fragments or something but...

As so many questions were swirling around in her head, she bumped into a certain shy yellow pegasus.

"Whoops, sorry!" she said, as she picked herself up from the ground, "Are you okay?" she asked

Fluttershy, not paying attention to where she was at and what was going around her other than the sudden fright she had just gotten from seeing what was behind the hooded figure she had yet to meet, felt a bump and stumbled back a little, her mind snapping back to reality. "Oh... uh, I'm sorry..." Fluttershy shyly said, responding to her question with, "Uh... yeah... I'm fine..." as she shyly looked down towards her hooves to hide her embarrassment.

Hank watches Rarity and everypony around them. He shows no emotion as she does it. "Rarity i want to keep the scars... Cause my left eye isnt what you expect.." he gave a sigh.

 

Soon while Rarity still worked on his mane his left eye, the one with the scar. (The scar i is two red lines from the bottom to the top of his eye.) The left eye glowed white and soon it showed no pupil what so ever "this is why i don't want to remove the scar." He sighs as it goes back to having a pupil. "I lost sight in that eye from saving a team mate." He looks at the ground still letting Rarity work on his mane.

Butajiris supersensitive hearing and the fact that he was close to Flaret allowed him to pick up a loud scream followed by a few key words, Dark powers being the most important. "Dark powers." he thought aloud, "Now that tickles my fancy. Maybe I'm not the only demon in this town."

 

"You're talking to yourself. We can all hear you." an old mare said, "Why can't you think in your head like a normal pony?"

 

"Because, shut up."

The book glowed with its dark aura attempting to cancel out the magic, deep under Canterlot Nova Star could feel the presence of another dark figure in Ponyville. Its dark aura reaching out to the "pony" her words making contact "Find the other dark magic user in Ponyville and retrieve my book to set me free, Equestria must burn."

 

Storm Fire saw what had happened to Hanks eye and gave a reassuring smile managing to take his gaze off the blue and rainbow pony "I can relate to your situation protecting those that are close to you is something important." He wanted to make a good impression on the ponies in this town he wanted to make a bunch of friends here.

Flaret could hear the words too, they flashed past her, but she could hear them. "No, no no," she mumbled again. "I'm borrowing this!" She had picked the book up with a levitation spell again, it was a lot stronger this time. She galloped outside, running towards Fluttershy. "Fluttershy! Have you seen Twilight? This... This book, it talks. And it's intentions aren't good!" She seemed jumpy, even more so than normal.

Rarity looked at the pupil with no sense of any sort of surprise. She sighed. "That reminds me of my da-I mean, no, it doesn't remind me of anyone!" Rarity quickly said with hurry. She finished the mane, and then slowly combed her mane. She felt a small prickle.

 

"I-I'm getting some sort of feeling. Som-something odd. Like something isn't right...we need to go somewhere else. I think we're in danger. I always get a weird sort of feeling whenever something bad happens. So...yes...I detected Nightmare Moon, but it was the first time and I thought nothing of it. I felt it at Discord, didn't make the connection. It happened at Canterlot with the changelings...but I didn't make the connection untill after the wedding. Now I know. But the signal is stronger...what...? Could we be in more danger?" Rarity asked the others, a bit worried.

Butajiri was interested in what the voice told him, but not enough to obey. He wanted to find out what this book was for himself.

 

Although Flaret was too far away for him to see, Butajiri could easily hear her yell. "Well now, isn't that a bit disgracefull?" he said with a chuckle as he took to the air.

Hank smiled when she finished as he looks at storm fire. "I agree... I saved all the ones i cared about all the time. I guess its time to tell you who i am... I am a mercenary... I am the best but, i ran off after they made the AIs. I was hoping to come her to start a new life but i guess i can't."

He heard what Rarity "Rarity i am going to protect you with my life... You are the first pony i met here and you were so nice and generous to me. " he smiles "i won't let you get hurt.. *mutters to himself* i wish i was able to take some weapons from the mercenaries before i left..."

Pinkie had watched Hanks and Rairty conversation. She paused and smiled, "don't worry hankie! She doesn't like my mane ether!" she said happily. She paused and looked at Rairty, "oh no, like creepy feelings?! Like my twitchy tail" she paused. She looked at her dark pink tail, no twitches no nothing. She looked back at Rairty, "Your twitches most be on the whack!" she stated. She then paused, and looked at Storm fire before shouting, "HI!"

Fluttershy perked back up when she heard her name, and after listening to Flaret and hearing that the book was evil she said, "E-evil? N-no... I haven't s-seen Twilight..." Her eyes widened with fear. She really wanted absolutely nothing to do with the book and ran off to find Twilight to both get away from the book and possibly find a way to get rid of the evil.

All she knew is that she wouldn't let anypony she didn't know close to the book, it wanted somepony who used dark magic, it wouldn't be too hard to keep those away... She hoped. The book made her nervous, Ponyville was a nice and quiet town, why did it always attract evil things?

All she knew is that she wouldn't let anypony she didn't know close to the book, it wanted somepony who used dark magic, it wouldn't be too hard to keep those away... She hoped. The book made her nervous, Ponyville was a nice and quiet town, why did it always attract evil things?

 

Butajiri touched down next to Flaret, short of breath. He had used a lot of energy trying to catch up with her. Despite this, his silky blue hair was still completely intact, nothing could ruin his hair. "B... *huh* ... Book? Where is it? The book, I need it! *gasp* Where did you put the book?"

She started to walk around Ponyville, watching the ponies she saw, and also searching for the book. She eventually saw Flaret, and she appeared to be holding something. So with a smile on her face, she walked over to her. "Oh look, it's my friend " She said, with obvious sarcasm. "Now what do you have there in your hands?" She asked.

She started to walk around Ponyville, watching the ponies she saw, and also searching for the book. She eventually saw Flaret, and she appeared to be holding something. So with a smile on her face, she walked over to her. "Oh look, it's my friend " She said, with obvious sarcasm. "Now what do you have there in your hands?" She asked.

 

"Back off." Butajiri ordered, "The book is mine! Things like this shouldn't be trusted to E class scum." He turned to Flaret. "Give me the damn book, I am becoming impatient!" He reached back and touched the handle of his sword, creating an obvious threat to her.

"Now hand me the book, and I promise to leave you alone" She put her hoof up and a shadow coming from a tree started to move towards her. "My sword does't need to touch you in order to kill." Butajiri said. He swung the sworn from his back, cutting the ropes that held it to his back. With both front hoofs, he grabbed the top hilt and pummel of his sword and pulled them apart. The inside of the swords handle expanded with a pink, fleshy substance, making the sword's hilt as long as the blade. The fleshy handle had a gruesome head in its center with two eye holes and a frowning mouth. "The Banshee Shriek! A rather lovely name for a sword, don't you think?"

Flaret was standing there, frozen and listening to what the two were saying. At the very moment Shadow Stalker turned to Butajiri, and the other way around, she started to run, putting the book in her saddlebag so she could defend herself with magic. She galloped in the direction of Twilights house, passing Fluttershy in the process. "Run!" she yelled.

Butajiri pointed the fleshy face at Flaret and stabbed the sword into the ground. "I will become famous!" He yelled, "Chorus of A Thousand Skulls!" Hundreds of spectral skulls protruded from the gory face and flew at Flaret and Fluttershy. They were the souls of the damned and their rage causes them to devour everything in their path.
