My ponysona in a Steampunk style. Being on the brighter side of average, Sylenth is quite the inventor.

Being a perfectionist has its perks, nearly everything he completes is a work of art. However, not a whole lot is completed, as much is scrapped for bigger and better projects.

Sylenth also has a fairly low tolerance for closed-minded ignorance. But, show a desire and an ability to learn and he will take you under his wing, sometimes literally.

I am really liking this art here. Especially like how you shaped the snout out with the glasses arranged like that. Though the neck feels almost naked without something there, maybe having a neat locket there? Still, loving this. How long this take, and what program?

I would say it took me around 3-4 hours. Not including the half hour I took to watch some Scrubs...

As for what program, like with all of my art, I use Easy Paint Tool SAI. Containing 33 Layers, 10 of which are lines, 7 are lighting effects, and the rest color.

Ehh, steampunk.... it's been really quite rather overkilled to death.

 

But aside from that, I like the toony proportions. 'Specially the shape of the goggles. And the softshading is perfect! Most of the time it doesn't exactly suit the artist's style, from what all I've seen. But you managed to do it right for a change. Particularly the snout; the contrast is very convincing.
