What MLP merchandise is good for getting autographed?

So I'm going to Canterlot Gardens (woooooo!)

And I'm wondering - what sort of MLP items are a good choice for getting autographed?

I've never been to a convention like this before, so I don't really know.

I had considered that a poster might be a good choice, I could get several signings on one item that way too. But a poster is too easily damaged and destroyed, not sure if that would be a good idea.

So any suggestions?

What kind of thing is a good choice for getting autographed?

I would go with your poster idea. Just purchase a poster container before you go. Or bring 2 rubber bands. If you're driving there and you're worried it will still be damaged then you could always go run it out to your car before continuing.

Other things that are good are basically any piece of art. (maybe by a sketch and then have the artist and VA of that character sign it. Brushables are good. Anything with a surface that can hold ink for long durations is ideal for such endeavors. Shirts are hard because they tend to bleed and make the signature look "meh".

Basically anything can work if you prepare before hand.

Yeah, see I've got this poster

Well, and some others too, but this one is probably the best for this purpose.

Maybe I should get a poster container then.

A t-shirt would be a good choice.

Yeah I probably will get a shirt while I'm there, so that might be a good call.

But then I wouldn't really want to wear the shirt anywhere, so it would be something to put in a drawer and forget about.

Still, might go for that though.

Thanks for your help folks -

Any other suggestions on stuff?

When it comes to voice actresses, many people like to have them sign a plush of one of the characters they voice. Pictures and posters are good for anybody. Just be careful if you take up something unique that you made yourself. There's a good chance one of the VAs will want to keep it, and could you really tell them they can't have it? I couldn't.

I'd say go with a plush doll or anything that can't be easily damaged. A shirt might get your autograph ruined in the wash after a few rinse cycles and a poster, like stated above, can easily be torn.

At least with a plush doll it's virtually a safer alternative if you're concerned about damaging it.
