I have not seen any topics on this game yet so I thought I should make one.

Are you getting farcry 3?

What are you looking forward to?

Do you like any of the previous games?

Hmm... I don't know. Farcry 2 wasn't that good, so I'm not expecting much from Farcry 3. Haven't heard much about it anyways. Could you link the trailer, and a gameplay video, perhaps ?

well i am rely disappointed from what i have seen because the level editor has been limited you can no longer create a vast jungle that is as huge as a BF3 map .

but i'm still going to buy it because i'm a huge Far Cry fan far cry 2 being one of my favorite FPS

Sure i know for sure that it wont be like farcry 2 the ending for that was terrible but anyway here are some gameplay trailers different things in the game etc

O_O There was a level editor! when was this that sounds pretty awesome is it a download or is it on the disk with all the other files?

i actually liked the ending to far cry 2 self sacrifice and all that and the only problem i had with it was if you took the diamond you had to cap your self kinda dumb when the other option is to storm a hill and end it with a bang.

 

and the level editor was apart of the game you have freedom to do what you want (it was also on the 360 and ps3 versions as well), i ended up making a huge jungle with cave rivers and mountains for one big game of CTD with only pistols and knifes (and flame throwers)

i have farcry 2 and i didnt like it much, i didnt complete it as i didnt enjoy one reason being the anoyingly fast speach, but farcry 3 looks amazing so i might get it as i tend to like story based games rather than purely multiplayer ones.

the two things I didnt like about Far Cry 2 was both the weapons degradation and the brick-wall ending, I am excited for Far Cry 3, seeing some gameplay, although some parts I've seen have some Assassins Creed elements in it. such as cell towers need to be climbed so you can mark things on your map, dont get me wrong its a good idea, however i just feel Ubisoft might be overusing their elements just a bit

I personally think that graphics, gameplay and fluid controls is very important so if Far Cry 3 lacks those elements I would be very disappointed. Though from what I've seen I'm quite impressed and I would definitly grab a copy of it when it comes out.

i loved far cry 2, and i am very excited for far cry 3, from what ive seen it looks like its going to be an awesome game, though it is very interesting that FC 2 and FC3 have nothing to do each other, so i think its safe to say that FC3 wont have a huge open world, or weapon jamming

from what I've seen with gameplay/interviews from ubisoft reps, FC3 will still have the massive world to explore, only this one wont have a loading screen between sectors. weapon degradation is gone and there are shops to buy guns and attatchments. also several side quests like hunting, bounty lists (wait a min, this sounds like red dead redemption) I've also noticed assassins creed elements like knife kills and how to mark things on your map. the game also features outpost takeovers, similar to Just Cause, to take over sections of the map. hope this helped some
