"Is that so. It must suck to be unchanging. The last years been great. I went back to my country's capital city recently and was hanging out with my friends when you teleported me here. I brought a friend this time though." Garth turned around and waved Blaze closer. "Slendermane, Blaze. He's the pegasus who made me into what I am and my best friend. Blaze, Slendermane. He is... I'm not sure. He brought us here a year ago and only talks by writing on paper." Blaze greeted Slendermane. Garth showed the note to Blaze and turned to Slendermane. "So what's this test about?"

Another letter. "It has been a year for you? Time works differently for me. The test is for me to know, and you to find out latter. We wouldn't want to spoil the fun early. However, please tell everyone that no harm will come to anyone. I will not allow it."

Garth nodded his head. "Does it now? Well, alright." He turned to the crowd and rose his voice. "Slendermane has told me that no harm will come to us as we go along with the labyrinth."

Blaze turned to Garth and asked, "So you're going along with this even though there's nothing in it for us?"

Garth laughed. "There's something in it for us. It's fun."

Another letter: "The labyrinth has a purpose. The first taught friendship and relying on each other. I hope that you may learn something from this labyrinth as well." Slendermane walked over to one of the portals and stood by it, as if waiting.

More letters: "Only one to a portal. Your objective is to reunite and find your way out together. That is the true maze."

Letter: "To your challenges, of course. Each portal will take you where you may learn and grow."

(I would like some suggestions for a good place for your characters to go. Each place should challenge your character, and help them to grow. For example, Autumn is afraid of heights, so I will place him on a high cloud and force him to face his fears. Some other ideas for environments I had are volcano, desert, ocean depth (they will be able to breath), dark forest (probably Everfree), and more. Please give me your ideas.)

(My character is very protective of others, and will sometimes let that get out of hand. Hope that helps. Also, I might have something interesting planned down the road...)

(I'll have to think about this. For now, I'll throw them into the portals and an endless darkness. I'll get back to you on their challenges.)

Garth looked at Blaze "You ready?"

"Like always. We'll meet back up at some place in the future."

"Yep. Cya until then."

Garth and Blaze stepped into their respective portals, each being launched into a black void. They could see something at the end, but were unable to make it out.

Autumn looked at the strange pony and shuddered. There was just something, off, about the tall pony. It wasn't magic, but it was strange. He didn't trust it, but Garth was so friendly and accepting of it, it probably wasn't evil. He looked at the portal nearest him and reluctantly walked through.

Suddenly, he was on a tiny cloud high in the sky. He looked down, and could barely make out the ground. He screamed and hugged the cloud. Too high! I knew I shouldn't have trusted that pony! I'll fall to my death for sure!

(To Bizzarepony: It is supposed to be something to help your character grow. If he is a doctor, maybe have him try to help too many ponies at once, and end up helping no one. It will be a nightmare/illusion, so no one will get hurt.)

(I'll develop this one later on but I think I got it.)

(Garth: He loves to fight, therefore he is put against a continuously healing enemy. He eventually stops and asks to stop the fight, enemy accepts. Lesson- Fighting isn't the solution to everything.)

(Blaze: He never stops moving forward and never stops to look back and think. He just keeps going ahead with whatever happens. Can you give me an idea of what to use for him?)

(For Blaze, the image I got was an endless hallway. He keeps going forward forever, but if he just turns or turns back, he will find the way out. But that is just my idea.)

(I like it. I'm gonna use it. Might throw in a couple more things though.)

<Blaze>

Blaze landed in a hallway, he looked both ways. He couldn't see the end of either. "Where am I?" He took a closer look at the walls: They were completely white with columns at a regular interval so one would know they were moving through the hallway. "What is this? There's no end." He started walking in one direction, looking in between each pillar. Then he started walking in the other for the same distance from his origin, doing the same actions. "There's no doors at all." He looked ahead and started walking forward. "If there's no doors, there must be an end to this." He took off, flying at top speed. The columns raced past him as he flew.

<Garth>

Garth landed in the middle of a dirt plain. He looked around him in all directions. Manticores, dragons, wyverns, other griffins, ponies, chimeras, and a host of other species surrounded him. "I'm surrounded? Great! I can attack in any direction!" He charged forward, straight into a dragon. He dodged its massive claws and brought his own claws into the softer underbelly of it. Something else battered him sideways into something else which launched him back to the center of the field. "What the hell just happened?" He looked back to where the dragon had been. "I at least hurt that one didn't I?" He saw that the dragon's underbelly was uncut. "I know I saw blood!" He charged again towards the same dragon.

(I think this is pretty good so far.)

Stitches found himself in a white walled hospital. He looked at the beds, only to discover that they were filled with the most monstrous of creatures. Dragons, manticores, wyverns, and all. He noticed that the bed nearest to him contained a rather large dragon. As he watched, a massive cut appeared along the dragon's underbelly. Stitches winced Ian's he heard it cry out in pain. He couldn't just let this poor dragon suffer! Calling on all of his years of medical experience, he healed the gash in the dragons scales. However, just as soon as he was done with that, he heard yet another cry for help.

(I wasn't expecting that! That was well done, connecting and contrasting Garth's violence with Stitches' desire to help and heal. Now to wait for Lyra and Bon Bon.)

(Holy shit. You're right. Good job Stitches. I didn't even notice until after Slendermane pointed it out. Now stop. Garth can't handle them all if you keep healing them.)

<Blaze>

Blaze stopped flying and dropped to the ground. "I can't keep going... but I can't stop." He started to walk forward again. He spoke, breathing between each word, "I... have... to... find... the... way... out..." He kept moving his body forward, taking deep gulps of air at each step.

<Garth>

Garth slashed at multiple creatures that got in his way. "Why won't you die!" This can't be happening. I can't kill them. The creature's blood dropped to the ground and nearly instantly dried up along with their wound. He found himself on the other side of the circle of enemies. Looking around once more, he was back in the middle of them all. He turned to find the area with the least dragons and charged it again.

Autumn started to get up, and look down to look for a larger cloud, but as soon as he did, he panicked and hugged the cloud tighter. Maybe I can move the cloud while I am on it. He started flapping his wings, but no matter how hard he flapped, the cloud wouldn't budge. There has to be another way.

<Stitches>

Stitches frantically worked, every passing second a moment wasted, as the wounds kept coming. Stitches knew that he would eventually have to give up, but maybe, just maybe, the wounds would stop appearing. It was as if he was trying to mount a muddy slope. Every step foreward took him two steps back.

Suddenly, without warning, the air in the room began to distort. It became windy as a spinning cocoon of feathers materialized in the middle of the room. Stitches was thrown back against the wall. The cocoon unfurled itself to reveal a pony holding a strange instrument. Immediately, the pony began playing a short, haunting melody on the instrument. The creatures all sat up, as their souls were gently seperated from their bodies, which faded away to leave a plethora of masks on the floor. The strange pony turned to stitches and smiled. He began to speak.

"Hello there, I don't believe we've met. I'm the Happy Mask Pony."

<Blaze>

Blaze's body was battered and bruised from constantly tripping and hitting the pillars. He fell over again. " This isn't possible. How can there be no end?" Blaze sat down and looked forward. Nothing was different. He shed a tear, then another, then a stream of tears came. He looked backwards and saw the same straight path. "There really is no end to this hallway. He moved himself over to a pillar and sat in front of it, looking at the pillar across the hallway. He noticed the edge of his vision seemed to be pulling away. Looking to the left and right, he saw what had been magically hidden from the middle. "This hallway... turns? It's a circle. I went in constant circles!" He got up to the protest of his entire body and walked back to the middle. Looking left and right, it was straight. He continued walking forward and left the magic center again. Looking at the walls, he saw a single door with a green light on top of it. He dragged himself to it and entered. The white walls were a familiar sight, but the two ponies, multitude of masks, and the tables were a different sight. He toppled over as the door behind him vanished into a wall.

<Garth>

He reached the creatures and tried to slash them, only for his claws to be deflected. This can't be happening! He was then thrown around the entire ring once before getting launched back to the center. His body, now battered everywhere, complained, yet he kept getting back up. He roared at the entire circle of enemies, "I won't lose. I'll never lose!" The circle began to get smaller.

Bon Bon trotted over to the mysterious pony. She didn't want to, but it seemed he was the only one who knew what was going on. It never talked and never gave a straight answer - he just gave her a bad feeling. Although judging from Garth's reaction, maybe he wasn't so bad.

"So, what now? I hope this isn't anything like last time."

[idea for the portal: Bon Bon has an overactive imagination. You could put her in a place where her imagination comes alive or something and she has to overcome the very things sh'es thinking up. Just a basic idea, I think it has potential though].

Slendermane looked down at Bon Bon and handed her a letter. "Welcome back to the Labyrinth. It is normal that you should fear me. I should not exist in this world, and yet I do. My kind have been hunters. They drive creatures mad and then take control. I chose to try to find a different path. But to understand your kind and your world, I must know what makes you tick. I am sorry, but I would like your help with this. I would like to know what you love and hate. To know your dreams and nightmares. Your hopes and fears. This is the only way I could do this without harm coming to anypony. To escape this maze, you must travel through a portal. It will lead you to your challenge. You must overcome your challenges and find your way back to the others. Together, you will find your way home. I apologize for this. Remember that I will not allow any harm to come to any of you." Slendermane respectfully bowed to Bon Bon, still exuding his aura of strangeness and fear. He walked over to a portal, as if beckoning her in.

(To Octavia: I like your idea. Describe the nightmare scenario however you like. Remember that the idea is to have them face their fears and grow because of it. Slendermane wants to learn, but he also wants to help in his own twisted way.)

(To everyone: It seems that Lyra can no longer participate. I guess things came up and there wasn't enough time. Don't worry. I will return her character to Ponyville.)
