What are your specs, which game are you recording, what version of Fraps are you using, what is your resolution,. Give as many details as you can, I can't help the non-specific vomit looking screen issue without info.

"Vomit Screen" could be caused by recording at a higher or lower FPS than what you are actually playing at, my videos are recorded at 30 fps, make sure you tick the box that says "Lock framerate while recording" it makes sure you FPS doesn't go over the recording amount.

While you could probably record at 60fps (i know that i can rather well) i wouldn't recommend it, as when recording at 60FPS for a long time, if your framerate dips from that for even a second every now and then, at the end of the video you will be seeing major sound lagg issues. I recorded a 50 min video at 60fps and got this problem, there was around a 4 second delay between the actions being shown and the sound playing.

As Tich said, we could use more info, what recording setting do you use, version, game, resolution and general PC specs would be nice ^^

Also, what are you playing back with?

And have you rendered the video in some video editing software, i find i get vomit screen sometimes when i have a transition in some video editing suites.

Wait I'll try to give you the specs, the problem is my computer is only and really really broken. I need to find the damn Rundll32.exe thing. And no, I don't have the disk

Also for Fraps and Video Games you have to take your CPU (Central Processing Unit) into account FRAPS tends to use a lot of your CPU and video games use a bit as well (Especially with Steam Open :P) and when your CPU usage is higher it will lag a bit more so try to close the useless processes on your computer.

I swear I'll destroy this computer! I know what I really really REALLY need but my parents don't allow me... Fricking Re-Install Windows, I didn't re-install it in like...4 months and it's already full of errors

If it is an old and cheap machine with a bad CPU and GPU, then there in lies your problem, recording video is a fairly taxing endeavor. If you don't own the hardware, then I recommend not bothering with it. no software can help you.

But I remember about a year ago it worked fine, althou I didn't need fraps then...now I need it and all of these errors are here....I'll just try to ask my parents to allow me to re-install windows

As mentioned above, your hardware is an important factor. If your machine is ancient then this might not work too well for you, if at all.

What alarms me is your mention of rundll32. You can find it in Windows\System32. What's wrong with it?

I dunno but meh...I will just wait until my parents will finally realise that

A. I need to re-install windows

or

B: Buy a new fricking computer

God I hate Fraps, especially when I have the trial version. It's bad enough the video quality is hideous, but to have the recording last up only to 30 seconds is god-awful and annoying as hell.

Torrent.

Just kidding. that's illegal.

ANYWAYS

Reinstalling windows will basically do the same thing as cleaning up your hard drive. If you have games, files or anything else useful on it, then reinstalling would undo all your work, (not assuming you don't have common sense). I'd recommend defragging your hard drive (and set it to routinely defrag), clean up regristry errors (I highly reccomend This), do disk cleanups and remove any programs you don't use anymore.

And as stated before, hardware is HUGE. if you do most of this and it doesn't help, i'd just get a whole new computer.

Mind the resolution of your video when using fraps guys. I recorded for about 20 minutes at 30 fps with 1080p and those 20 minutes piled up to 45Gb of raw video. Yikes.
