What's so disgusting about it?

Well ysee, according to wowhead, Invincible has about a 1.5% chance of dropping from the Lich King. Combine this with the fact that it will only drop on 25 man Heroic difficulty, and I'm a pretty lucky guy. I must have worked the DK mojo on Arthas.

If it makes you feel better, I got the Life-Binder's Handmaiden from 25 man Heroic Madness of Deathwing last week after five tries?

Is stacking the necrotic plague debuff possible on classes besides ones with pets/minions? I really want that glory of the Icecrown Raider mount.

Looks like, for non-pet classes, you'll need to somehow summon a guardian of some kind for him to even cast NP. The old JC trinkets work for this.

Think I'll wait til I get my Lock to 100 or my Hunter.

On another note, I finished Ulduar last night, that was fun. Though when I got to Yogg Saron, that was an annoying fight to solo without the 4 guardians, which I think you have to do for Yogg to drop Mimiron's head.

As it turns out, arms warrior is very fun for PvP.

So I got the world explorer achievement just because. Now the loremaster achievement, I'll probably never go for that one, too time-consuming.

On another note, what are some of your favorite/least favorite dungeons?

For favorites, I'd say Utgarde Keep, Deadmines, to name a few.

Least favorites, Dire Maul is a pain, too big, and a lot of people miss objectives, particularly in Capital Gardens.

Also, I hate Maraudon, easy to get lost, and a couple times we ended up in the other part of the dungeon.

My favorite dungeon as of now is Skyreach. Yeah, yeah, I know it's a more recent one, but I really like the mechanics of it. It emphasizes personal responsibility and movement, and I think it's really fun.

My least favorite is Gnomeregan. Mostly because every group I'm in skips the side objectives and jumps off the ledge without taking the parachute. Capital Gardens also sucks.

Oddly enough I never had a problem with Gnomeregan. I dunno why.

Ice Crown isn't really that hard at 100, provided you have decent gear. Arthas may give you a hard time if you're not alert during the fight, what with mechanics like shadow trap, defile, and those ice spheres. Soloing as a caster would be annoying, though. I think affliction locks would have the easiest time with that. And Hunters would have the easiest, being the most mobile class in the game.

I have never played WOW but I sorta always wanted to

I'm in your boat right now.

Awwww that's a shame. Before Mists, my main was a Draenei Vindicator as well. I do admit there is a certain glamor to channeling the forces of the Nether into something positive.

You said you played a Pandaren. Which faction did you choose?

The Tushui. I agreed with their philosophy far more than the Huojin.

"Discipline is not a war that is won. It is a battle, constantly fought." - Master Feng

The way of the Tushui is one of a principled life. Followers of this discipline believe there is a moral certainty to the world: one correct path of right and wrong. These Values are immutable, and must be preserved no matter what the cost. Even if it means self sacrifice, or painful losses in the pursuit of a higher ideal.

. . . Oh and they joined the Alliance because Master Cloudsinger found their outlook to fit within Tushui thinking.

Do you like the Alliance or the Horde better?

I'm no longer active, but some toons I used to play included Koukatsu the NElf Rogue, Fellcayn the Draenei Mage, and Linetara the Worgen Priestess. c:

I don't really care about alliance or horde, I just go where my friends are. They were alliance last time I was active.

Neither. Or both.

I think they are both interesting cross sections of different cultures. I'm also in a sad minority that think the two sides should not be fighting and should seek peace, out of universe PvP be damned.

It just occurred to me that you might be asking because you require help on which one you should join. Is that correct?

Well, I did want to be on the Alliance. I did. I read so many things about both factions on these forums and on the WoW forums and people basically think that the Alliance sucks. I normally try not to be influenced but I'm unsure of my decision.

The basic answer is yes.

I would advise erring on the side of race or class rather than overall faction. They are the true defining points of your character, determining their background, worldview, and skills.

Forgive my vulgarity in saying such in addition, but SCREW THE CROWD! The Alliance is awesome, just like the Horde! There are saints and sinners amongst both of their ranks. What matters is what YOU want, what story you want to tell with your character, and whether which side will tell it better or either would suffice.

Oh, and don't forget to check realm population proportions before you decide. You really don't want to make a character on, say, Area 52 if you decide Alliance, or Sargeras if you decide Horde. You will not have a fun time.

Check out wowprogress.com, then click on "US" under the "Realms" dropdown menu at the top, for the Alliance to Horde ratios. Don't worry, there is literally no difference between realms except for their designations of PvE, PvP, RP, or (if you're weird) RPPvP.

Oh yeah, I have all horde on area 52, and there's a lot. I'm not sure about alliance, my horde is only 70 and I don't hang around alliance areas, but I'm guessing there aren't many alliance players. My alliance server is Trollbane-Malfurion.

Yes, I'm going back in.  :)

Wait, you don't have an account anymore?

I have the account, but I stopped paying when I stopped playing. It's still there I just need to know how to pay for more game time.

Just go to your battle.net account (provided you remember your login and everything, click on World of Warcraft, whichever one you used last, and click on game time and subscriptions, and then you can buy some time with a credit card or use a prepaid 60 day card which you can buy at a store like Wal-Mart or Target.
