You would not believe what happened to me at work,

 

I knelt down to put cheese in the fridge and accidentally kneed the supporting bar which caused all the shelves to tilt downwards on top of me and me to squeal out in fear for my life like a little girl.

 

Have you ever had fridge shelves careening towards you? It sucks, I promise. It makes you squeal. Not scream, not gasp, not cry out in pain… It makes you squeal. Specifically because every muscle in your body, throat included, tenses up as hard as it can. It’s awful. Just awful. So uhhh… Yeah i had every reason to squeal

 

Cut to the part where I’m huddled on the ground twitching, drooling because I’ve lost all motor control.

 

more specifically my boss Tim just staring at me while i'm all like "why can i hold all these shelves" and him being all "because you rack disiprine"

 

but still evenything fell on top of me, it bucking hurt and i want to hear some work related incidents/mishaps that everypony else has been in.

I've had stuff falling of shelves on me at work. I didn't squeal, but I did exclaim "holy shit!' rather loudly and jumped back, which caused me to knock other stuff down. Came out unscathed, but I still got in trouble :/

oh it very much will I am quite the disaster area when it comes to accident's. Twilight aint got nothing on me, falling piano's pfft. All in the day in the life of this here pony.

I have things happen like that more often than not at work. I have developed the art of using the Gaelic tongue to swear so nobody (unless of course an Irish fella walks on by) is offended.

 

I work the ovens at a bakery and burn my arms at least 3 times a day.

Getting punched in the throat by a boxer puppy, he popped up off the grooming table to try and play with the brush and jabbed me right in the throat, talk about sucktastic, not to mention I work in a glass box and there were people watching as I gasped for air and tried to remain calm.

 

Working with animals is not glorious at all peeps, it's rather ruff work (see what I did there?)

I slipped on some random puddle of water near the sink, and hit a pipe with my foot under the sink. Luckily one of my co-workers caught me so I didn't fall too hard. However, the pipe broke and was spitting water out of the pipe. My boss got it repaired the next day and it costed $120 to fix. O_o

did the bits come outta your pay or did the big boss jus' not worry so much about it? Some bosses can be nice like that or maybe i'm jus' lucky.

It didn't come out of my pay, because it wasn't really my fault. Although, I accidentally gave a $15 order worth of food for free and that did come out of my pay. I don't really work in a 100% safe environment considering the kitchen is outdated, and there has been some strange accidents, but luckily they don't happen too frequent.

The worst thing I've done is knock down a column of Diet Dr. Pepper 24 packs. IIRC only one pack ended up busted, but I may be remembering that wrong. Either way, it created quite a spill and it was embarrassing, but that kind of thing just happens at my work.
