Am I really worth your time?

Am I worth all the pain?

 

I feel worthless, I feel horrible.

 

It seems like no matter what I do,

I cannot do enough.

 

I can't help you it seems...

 

I want to just pick up your day,

I want to raise your smile.

 

I want to be your reason to be around.

 

I cannot protect you,

I cannot be a man.

 

I want to hold you in my arms and say everything is alright,

but this must wait a long time.

 

I want to be a better person for you...

 

I don't know what my worth is anymore,

I don't know why you stay around.

 

You're really too amazing for me...

 

You fill my life with such joy,

but I cannot do the same for you.

 

I try as hard as I can...

 

It doesn't feel like I am doing anything,

like I am making a difference.

 

I want you to know I love you...

 

I just want to be better for you.
