Silverwisp the Bard 2,353 October 26, 2012 Share October 26, 2012 Here's whats up: G4 has run it's course and for some ungodly reason, you are in charge of writing the last episode/made-for-tv-movie. No restrictions, no tagging out, 100% creative freedom. What do you write? My humble take: The most ancient of the great evils imprisoned in Tatarus, S'mooze the Eternal, breaks free and threatens to devour all of Equestria. When faced with their greatest enemy yet, the Mane Six unite with the Royal Sisters, Chrysalis and even Discord, unleashing the powers of Harmony, Order and Chaos itself against the He who is Many. After S'mooze's defeat, the Sisters, seeing ponies and Changelings united, depart the mortal plane, taking the cleansed Discord with them. The Mane Six rebuilt Equestria as a Hexavirate. The last scene is a 15-years flash forward showing the Mane Six with their children. Other stuff: -Spike and Rarity get together (think Hermoine and Ron) -Lyra and Bonbon confirmed as a couple -Derpy and the Doctor using the Tardis to help evacuate ponies -all of the above get a bonus scene breaking the 4th wall and telling One Million Moms to suck it. 7 My Art Thread, updated (almost) daily Tomorrow will take us away, far from home No one will ever know our names But the bard songs will remain. NavelColt 22,881 October 26, 2012 Share October 26, 2012 (edited) Hoo boy. Just came up with this now, and it's certainly a rough draft that could be improved. Might edit it and make it smoother later. Or not. A couple years after the events of the rest of the series, the Mane Six have become official protectors of Equestria in both title and experience; working along side the princesses, as well as the Royal Guard to protect all corners of the nation whenever they are needed. Unbeknownst to the ponies, a dark energy has been biding it's time in the depths of the Everfree Forest, feeding on the negative energy from emotions of all nearby creatures. After these few years, this substance begins to starve itself; the occasional squabbles, arguments and fights among ponies is no longer enough to feed it's ravenous appetite. It begins seeking a power source to feed off of. A power sources strong enough to last it forever. The power source of a certain statue in Celestia's garden. One quiet autumn night, the black shadow approaches Discord's statue and engulfs it, sensing the incredible power inside and craving it. This intense, putrid collection of negativity and strife easily eats away at the spell holding Discord over the next numerous hours, and he finally breaks free once more. Having emerged from his stone prison, the Wizard of Anarchy curiously and effortlessly examines this mass of darkness, and discovers that he can morph it and control it at will, by allowing it to feed off some of his divine power. By pouring his power into this darkness, Discord is able to create his own, living, breathing Elements of Disharmony. These creatures of darkness not only possess negative elements contrary to those of the Mane Six, but their focused magic is able to fight back against the Elements of Harmony and keep them at bay by cancelling it out. Thusly, rendering Discord unbeatable as long as the Elements of Disharmony remain intact. Cackling as he does it, Discord makes his grand entrance to the Mane Six, and is overjoyed at their terrified expressions at seeing him again after all this time. He simply yawns boredly as they try to use the elements against him, and smugly watches the Elements of Disharmony counteract them. Discord leaves the Elements of Harmony to battle, retreat, and battle against their polar opposites. Discord confronts Celestia and Luna at Canterlot Castle, and engages them in a duel of pure magic, proclaiming that if he's going to have his throne back this time, he's going to do it the right way this time; by taking Celestia's crown for himself. He's fearless, knowing that neither of them can harm him, or stop him from inevitably beating them. The Mane Six battle against their counterparts and eventually come to the end of the fight after a long struggle. They do so by not fighting, but by defusing their counterpart's power with acceptance. Approaching their counterparts, they acknowledge the fact that they themselves have not always represented their element perfectly, and that all six of them have had endless times where they have been in the place of the Elements of Disharmony, representing them more than their true positive elements. They explain that this is a natural part of life, and that good cannot exist without bad. As the Elements of Disharmony reflect on this, Twilight Sparkle approaches them and explains to them that they are all one and the same; natural order, and natural chaos. There are times when each of them has acted like their opposite, but again, it's all apart of the natural cycle of life. She then points to Canterlot Castle, where a majestic flurry of magical sparks is seen lighting up the castle roof. Twilight explains that Discord is unnatural chaos, and that unlike the Elements of Disharmony, he cannot be allowed to stay. The Elements of Disharmony agree, and embrace their counterparts in acceptance of their fate before dissipating into nothing, once again becoming intertwined with nature. The Mane Six rush to Canterlot. Celestia and Luna are cornered by the power of Discord, having been able to hold their ground for only so long against him. Cackling in enjoyment, Discord finally breaks through the princess's defenses, and applauds them for how long they were able to stand against him. Just as he raises his finger to cast another spell, Twilight calls him out from behind. The Mane Six and the Spirit of Chaos clash, and have an epic final battle that doesn't just last for ten seconds like Celestia VS Chrysalis. For a while, it appears the Mane Six will never obtain the chance to use the elements; Discord's too smart, he knows to keep them too busy to cast their magic. But just as he feels confident in his victory, he's blasted in the side by a pair of blue and golden light. Celestia and Luna push Discord back just long enough for the Mane Six to let loose the Rainbow Beam Blast of Doom. The agile spectrum of light follows after a fleeing Discord, keeping just on his tail like a heat-seeking missile. At last, it consumes his tail and begins to move up his body, sealing him into stone once again. Jipped out of his freedom so quickly, Discord curls his lip and cocks an eyebrow at the ponies watching down on the rooftop, glaring at them. Completely transformed, Discord's statue plummets down through the air and crashes down into the other side of Canterlot mountain, where it will be retrieved later. Equestria safe once again, the Mane Six go through the ceremony celebrating their victory, and retire to Twilight's library home for some well deserved rest. -- Was going to try and incorporate Twilight writing a letter, of which her friends believe is to Celestia, but it turns out to be Twilight responding to a prodigy of her own, but it feels too sudden for what I've laid out :3 So oh well. khaine21x3 789 October 26, 2012 Share October 26, 2012 I would prefer a sad ending where the mane five are captured and twilight dies.Twilight failing off some high building would be nice. But I would'v dereference it shown in reverse with trixie and luma mourning twilight's lifeless body

FoxyCryptid 4,330 October 26, 2012 Share October 26, 2012 (edited) I think I would want an ending about new beginnings if they did a real finale when it's over. Rather then sad goodbyes I'd want an ending where they just go off to face new adventures ahead, even if we don't get to go with them. Maybe even have the CMC get their Cutie Marks and begin the next chapter of their journey together.Because that's what I truly believe. I believe that with every ending comes a new beginning, a bright new chapter. I'll try to come up with my own idea later, with any chance. Will be different, but I don't have the mind for it right now. 1 My OC Arcanel: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/arcanel-r2118 My OC Xiomara: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/xiomara-r5412 ~Member of the Great Pony Analyzers~
Daylight 18 October 26, 2012 Share October 26, 2012 (edited) Hoo boy. That kind of episode would be awesome.A Discord comeback and the discorded Mane 6 against the Mane 6,that episode would be my favorite episode.Great work.I hope there will be an episode like that. Logan Runion 22 November 23, 2012 Share November 23, 2012 Name: Wake Up Time Synopis: The Mane Six Seem to be killed by what looks like a human girl. They wake up and realize that the land of Equestria was all just a dream; None of it happened. They are left frightened and confused. They try and live as their human selves, preteens named Kristen, Rachel, Carla, Rianna, Hannah, and Pheobe (in order of intro apperance). They find that Equestria is another Dimension, but is unaccessible thanks to Discord. They then regain Human memories, and they accept that the Elements of Harmony were no more. Eventually they accidentally find a way into Equestria and Celestia offers to let them be ponies again, but that would mean saying goodbye to their human families. Suddenly, both human and pony versions of Lauren Faust and say that "freindship overcomes all" or something. They reawaken n their beds, but find their closet dorrs changed. They open them to show their Equestrian Homes. They change into ponies more based on their human apperances and walk off into the sunset (or some other cheesy ending). What ya think?
LightRaider 148 November 23, 2012 Share November 23, 2012 Epic pony war in the distant future time! Future twilight is the equivalent of snake, rainbow is the equivalent of the guy from doom. Rarity would be like sora from KH. (with da magic sword and shizz) Fluttershy would be like Tear from Tales of the Abyss. I would go on, but it would take too long to type.
Whofch 128 November 23, 2012 Share November 23, 2012 I would prefer a sad ending where the mane five are captured and twilight dies.Twilight failing off some high building would be nice. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApDAJJONn9I Love the ending to that. I'm rubbish at putting serious thought into words, so I wont. I love a sad-happy ending though so it needs to end on something that will make your eyes bubble and a lump form in the throat. No super cheery crazy happy business to end on! 1 We were meant to rule together, little sister......
Princess Derpy 672 November 23, 2012 Share November 23, 2012 (edited) Derpy Hooves, Fluttershy, Spike and Rainbow Dash team up to rescue Twi, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack from Discord, Trixie, and Chrysalis, who have also teamed up. But, when spike gets allured by Rarity it turns out to be Chrysalis, so derpy, Flutters, and Dashie have to save him, too. And after Spike is rescued, they continue their trek to save the others. But Chrysalis continues to use trickery on the others by disguising herself as a muffin vendor who sells poisonous muffins that have no effect on Derpy , a wonderbolt who attempts to trap and harm Rainbow Dash , and finally a zookeeper who "accidentally" traps Flutters in with hungry tigers, but they all escape with minor injuries. Then just when they were about to give up they found the cave that the others were trapped in, but realized that they would have to fight Discord and Trixie. Flutters and Dashie take on Discord and Derpy and Spike take on trixie. Discord gets taken out by Dashie's incredible speed and Flutters' stare down. Trixie is defeated because of Derpy's ability to confuse ponies easily and spike attempts to knock out Trixie, but fails so Dashie has to knock her out. They save Twi, Rarity, Pinkie, and AJ and when everything seems perfect, they get back to Ponyville, just to find it destroyed. Then the poison in the muffins kick in and Derpy passes out, Rainbow dash's wounds had gotten infected and she had become VERY light headed, and the sight of this had caused Flutters to faint. Then, the changelings swoop down from the sky and attack the others, and manage to knock out all of them except Twi. she uses a spell to return the others to normal health and they take down the changelings. Just then, Twi remembered that Celestia told her to guard ponyville from the attacks that the villians were planning. In a panic, she looked all around her to find not a single building still standing, when Twi and her friends get transported to Celestia's. And she tells Twi that she had failed And that her and her friends were banished to the moon. Then she realizes that Spike wasn't with her and that he was killed by changelings. Then, in a scream Twi wakes up from her nightmare, and realized that it didn't happen at all. But then shrieks when she finds out she murdered him and many others in ponyville during her nightmare and is then truly banished to the moon by Celestia. It's kinda just a rough draft, sorry I haven't come up with and dialogue yet. Edited November 24, 2012 by Princess-Derpy
Antismurf9001 1,271 November 24, 2012 Share November 24, 2012 Here's whats up: G4 has run it's course and for some ungodly reason, you are in charge of writing the last episode/made-for-tv-movie. This sounds strangely like the ending to 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. Might I ask if that was the inspiration? Hoo boy. Silverwisp the Bard 2,353 November 24, 2012 Author Share November 24, 2012 This sounds strangely like the ending to 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. Might I ask if that was the inspiration? I assume you mean the first book, not the series as a whole? Either way it wasn't on purpose, but the motive is pretty universal (like the elves leaving Middleearth at the end of LotR). 1 My Art Thread, updated (almost) daily Tomorrow will take us away, far from home No one will ever know our names But the bard songs will remain. The Weapon 168 November 25, 2012 Share November 25, 2012 Hm... I'm going to pull out a few stops on this one. Vague, but hey, it's a plot. Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria... Pinkie Pie accidentally rips a hole in space-time, releasing Discord. He, having ripped a hole in the MLP multiverse, summons all the villains from all the MLP series and fanfiction... And any from other seasons that weren't completely removed... And they basically siege Equestria. However, Celestia retaliates by ripping a hole in space-time to release all the heroes from billions of fanfic and existence universes. However, Pinkamena, Molestia, and several trollish villains break off of the villain side and proceed to rip the multiverse open, causing a massive crossover with references to every media ever. With ponyfications, to boot. Luna immediately breaks down psychologically, resulting in connection to a horrifically bad novel and every badly written OC ever, resulting in the Cupcakes Alliance becoming thousands of alicorns strong and overpowered. The Elements of Harmony fire excessively, but cannot stem the combined forces of Discord from one direction and Pinkamena's alicorn army from the other. The Canterlot/Ponyville valley area is under siege, outer cities already fallen. Cloudsdale has been taken over by Discord, the entire area Appaloosa is in taken over by the Cupcakes Alliance. While Doctor Whooves and Derpy evacuate everypony, Cadance and Shining Armor lead a charge from the Crystal Empire's imperial army to the effect of stalling Discord's army out. Pinkie Pie duels Pinkamena using the fourth wall itself (Literally, she grabs the screen and smashes it against Pinkamena, Baker Of Cupcakes), resulting in weird YouTube Poop references and weird effects being summoned from nowhere. Celestia and Luna charge through the fray, firing concentrated solar flares and moon laser cannon arrays to clear a path through the valley to Everfree Forest. Zecora leads an international interspecies army along with Spike, headed by the Elements of Harmony, because Pinkie Pie can be in multiple places at once. She even makes a clear statement that she had forgotten about it during the episode with the legendary mirror pool. The armies fight each other to a standstill with magic and a weird lack of blood and no lethal casualties, to the point that Celestia and Luna have escaped into the old castle in Everfree, and activate a giant celestial beacon. The sun and moon have a gigantic eclipse over Everfree, resulting in the reflection of a single-purpose signal through the Mirror Pool, resulting in a huge rainbow through the Elements of Harmony, banhammering all the villains away. The rainbow dissipates to reveal the alicorn versions of the staff, with the Fausticorn leading. Several minutes of dialogue later and an epic story that involves Celestia/Luna's backstory as well as why exactly 1000 years ago was so violent and unruly and so much backstory that it takes up like 1/3 of the episode, detailing every major Equestrian city (Even the multiple hoofingtons), then the entire population of Equestria ascends into a super alicorn mode... Thing... and bam, the series ends, with a gigantic And That's How Equestria Was Made from Alicorn Pinkie Pie, because all of Equestria the planet was converted into an epic deity pantheon. Then a sequel hook for Generation 5, as Pinkie Pie closes the Equestrian history book and waves to the viewer, with some ponies watching in awe. Epic, then pan out from the epic temple palace thingy with epic imagery of the key points of every episode and lots of lessons on friendship. Cue a little backstory on the New Equestria, and blah blah. Then an epic goodbye song from everypony and a promise to TRY and make cameos in later generations if they're still remembered and the marketing's good. Roll credits.
