writing In my last breath

This pain is the same, with this blood I am sane.

All that is known in this world of saints,

all that is known to the world of mine.

Watch me as this last breath leaves me.

I will die on your own breath and be spirited away.

I found that i need your voice to keep me here, yet i continue to forsake us.

This pain, it must be the same.

This world, these lies we create, this life we want.

All is in fact nothing.

This is as empty as the truth will become, this life that we need.

Walking this path, in the leaves of barren past.

These needs of a saint, and the greeds of a beggar.

Our own lifes to be placed forth among the essence of others.. What is our life?

Who is it to say that we are not truly dead already, being that all we know are our own senses.

Therefore, we must truly be dead, damned even, we know not of others, perhaps we are not.

I hold true this saint, this pain must be real.

This pain, I need it to be real, what else do I use to affirm my own desires.

This last life leaves me on our own desecration.

Scatter my ashes apon this great fire.

IS THIS PAIN REAL?

I ask myself, I ask myself, and once again I come to ask myself.

I find no answers, and these bring that sorrow.

Tears, tears every day, in the realization that nothing is held true, the saint, the liar, the beggar.

My own unto you, my own to be forgotten, scatter my ashes please.

This fire, "hell fire". Rain down, bathe me.

I am dying to see.

Tears upon me.

Life unto death.

My realization within my own last breath.

This sounds very depressing and seems to me a bit like a suicide letter. Did you write this or did someone else? Either way, this person definitely got their message across. I usually like poems that are more...cheerful, shall we say, but this does bring a person to harsh reality. I like it in that aspect.

Did you write this

Yes , thought the signature for the poem is Tervaf Divad, it actually David Favret Backwards... used to pint out a hidden aspect amongst the poem.

Depression is whatever the general people will decide it to be, so who am I to judge upon whether it shall be a sign of depression or not... I know nothing yet everything, thus, my own madness that ensues as I write.

cheerful, shall we say

I have temporarily forgotten the meaning... though, I have never really believed in happy endings... I should stop being the ever bearing pessimist.

does bring a person to harsh reality. I like it in that aspect.

The aspect, some one taking a moment to question the ways of the world, even though he has nothing to grieve, he has lost everything, but only in his mind, burning in his own hell he lashes out against himself, the so called saint.... now he mourns what he now feels he deserves to lose.

I guess the reason why I reacted to this in the manner that I did would be that I'm used to reading or writing poetry that is more uplifting or causes happiness. If you don't understand what being cheerful is, I'd recommend listening to pinkie pies smile song on YouTube.

When I write poetry, unless it is love based, i enter a state of emotional bliss... When i do i do not comprehend such things. i write off of an idea and transform it into emotionwhich i place upon myself... thus my state of writing. Ihave by no means forgotten joy or happiness. i simply chose to put it aside for a bit so i could write this
