Opinions On My OC Cover?

I need help deciding whether or not this is a good cover picture for my OC. I like the concept, but Im not entirely sure that I should apply this here watercolor-ish effect. Or maybe I should have more water color effect? Or do you think I should just keep it as a vector? Or maybe just make the pony and the grave watercolored, and the rest should be vectored. What do you think?

Alright I fixed it a little. Colors contrast more.

 

 

 

 

And here is something I made for the movie I'm making with him. It will hopefully be 60 minutes long, but first I have to learn how to animate ponies like the show...

Colours look fine, maybe add some background (see screenshots for ideas).

-reduce the detail on the grass (again; screenshots)

-maybe drop the writing from the stone and just have the wings (there's elegance in simplicity)

 

Also. and that might just be me, the bright mane and tail in combination with the white clothing kinda makes your OC look like hes wearing a wedding dress...

I love the background, slightly blurred so you might want to put some clarity to it somehow.

 

Try and brighten up the pony's mand and tail a bit more and it should be good.

I find it actually a good idea to drop the words on the gravestone because they're all blurry and you can't see them anyway, thanks!

 

There isn't much I can do about the white flowing mane except maybe make the mane and hair a bit darker and his shoes and chestplate a bit brighter. I was worried though that the grass looks a bit too bright. It's practically neon whereas everything else in the picture has been darker.
