GIven theres only 3 Known Alicorns.. Luna, Celestia and Cadance. There isnt much to talk about. But i think this might be fanon, but Queen Galaxia, or Luna's and Celestia's mother.. is also an Alicorn..

 

As for immortal, i think Canadce is not immortal.. family wise, well we're going to have to wait and see for all those questions aswell

I've thought on this a bit before. I suspect that Alicorns aren't immortal but age very very slowly, that would explain why Luna and Cadence seem to grow older. Perhaps at a certain age they plateau out for a while.

 

I also think that they're not born but created. A bit like in Norse mythology where mortals could become demi gods through performing heroic deeds.

 

The other thought I've had is the child of an Alicorn is always going to be an Alicorn, I just think that the gene's would be much stronger.

So tired of waiting though... I want answers! Well patience is a virtue. Maybe as the season progresses we'll get more info on Celestia and co.

Regarding parents: Since they both have the title "princess" having parents of which are alive would comfirm that this title is not just given because it sounds prettier (Even though that is most likely the case).

 

It feels off to have Queen Chrysalis who rules over the changelings be called Queen, and King Sombra be labeled as King, while the monarchies of equestria still have Princess. But like I said before, it's easier to sell toys that way.

i think that being an allicorn would be awesome. but the only allicorns in the show are luna, celestia, and cadence.Being an allicorn would be pure luck if youre not a royal pony

I think its kind of like a royal family thing that its only possible in the royal bloodline but I'm not sure at all in actuality.

Yes, it is obvious that Alicorns are definitely royalty, or are the overal power of Equestra. So what would happen if Twilight were to become royal. Wait what? Twilight becoming royal?

 

Twilight is Shining Armors sister.

Shining Armor married Cadence.

Cadence is royalty.

Cadence is now in-laws with Twilight.

Twilight is now in-laws with royalty.

Alicorns are probably not immortal. However they do seem to age extremely slow. Celestia has referenced three events from the past, two of which went on for 1000 years and were seperate occasions. AND she has lived since before the Crystal Empire dissapeared, and it was gone for well over 1000 years. So basically... DAYUM DAT BEEECH BE OLD.

 

Also, if you were paying attention, Cadence was referenced as "The Crystal Princess" durring S3E2. So what does that mean?

Also, if Celestia and Luna are sisters, and Cadence's aunt is Celestia... Then is Luna Cadence's mother? If not, who is? And who's the father?
