He looked at his drink. "Too bad it's spiked." He mumbled to himself quietly.

Vinyl sat down at the bar and ordered a drink for herself and Sapphire. A stallion came up to her and warned her about the spiked drinks. "Don't worry, I handled that situation. The next time he does that, he's getting fired." A different bartender came back with their drinks and she handed one to Sapphire.

Whirl Wake smiled at the mare. "Who owns this club?" He asked. "Whoever it is, they've got it going on. DJ Pon-3 is one of the most famous musicians in Equestria!" Whirl Wake watched her skillfully mess with all the bells and whistles on her turntables. She truly was a skilled DJ.

"That would be me and my sister, who happens to be on stage right now. Yeah, she's pretty talented, ain't she? She usually performs here, unless she's got something else to do, like parties, wedding after parties, you know, that sort of stuff." Vinyl turned back to Sapphire and downed her drink.

"It's not, actually. I extracted the drug and turned it into a vapor, which I funled up the bartender's nose," she said boredly. "I doubt he'll remember he even had a job here. Such a concentrated does will probably have him poledancing by the end of the night."

Mal smiled and drank the drink. "Well Radio, how do you do that? You seem to be able to see down to the molecular level," Mal asked in awe.

 

Sapphire took a sip of her drink. She tasted it and it tasted normal. She then drank the rest. "What was with that bartender anyway? Maybe I should have arrested him. That would have taught him a lesson," she said after she finished her drink.

 

Vinyl replied, "No, it's fine. He's new and he probably got paid by someone to do it. I made it clear that we don't make any requests to spike drinks."

Mal smiled and drank the drink. "Well Radio, how do you do that? You seem to be able to see down to the molecular level." Mal asked in awe.

 

"Ohh, I found it in some pre-nu- I mean, I found it in a dusty old library. It's very hard to describe, because to say that it's like taking a microscope to things is not... quite right. But it's rather interesting, once you get the hang of it." She blushed and sipped her drink.

Mal knew something was wrong, Radio cut herself off in mid sentence. Mal decided to let the matter go. "Is it possible to learn that spell?" He asked her curiously.

 

"Still, even if he is new it is not an excuse to do that, is it. But fine I'll let it go." Sapphire replied to what Vinyl said.

 

"I guess, but it would be hard. It's hard, not because of complication, but because it's hard to keep it straight. Attoms are huge, but nuclei, nuclei are very very small. Also, it's impossible to guess where an electron is without losing where it's going to be, and vice versa. Besides, why do you want to learn it? It's just a boring old chemistry spell."

Whirl Wake took a sip from his hopefully drugless (Word?) drink and turned back to Vinyl. "Vinyl Scratch's sister?" He said excitedly. "Well I guess the party skills sure do run in the family. Sky was slightly confused by the mare saying he needed help. "Am I really that bad of a dancer? Or does she mean something else?" Sky thought to himself. "My name is Sky." Sky replied as he improved his dancing a little by copying the moves of a stallion on the other side of the room.

Alright, Mal, pay attention." *You learned a chem-sensing spell* She with hold the information on chemical bondings and such magically, seeing as it was relatively pointless and much, much more complicated. As well as taxing.

Red could hear other ponies on the other side of the door, music too. Maybe Vinyl Blade was mad at him and wasn't going to let him in? He knocked again on the door, this time much harder than before so that it could be heard over the party music. "Blade? lemme in! I'm sorry for being late!" He screamed at the door.

Mal tried the spell. He lost his concentration of the spell as his vision changed. The spell dropped. "That was amazing." He mumbled.

"Odd, I never heard of that place, it also has a funny name. 'Junktown', you should take me there sometime." He replied to Radio.

"Ohh, umm, maybe... You know, I'm sure you wouldn't like it at all. Quite dusty... and it smells! Really bad... And ponies are always getting radiat- getting sick. It's not a very happy place, but we get by," she seems to get caught up in a memory, and looks sad, but instantly covers it up.

"I'm Vinyl Blade. As for the parties, I can never be too sure if it runs in the family. Our parents were taken from us at an early age, so we never got to see the real parties. All we saw were the birthday and holiday parties." Vinyl shifted in her chair. Thinking about her parents brought back memories.

 

"Still, even if he is new it is not an excuse to do that, is it. But fine I'll let it go." Sapphire replied to what Vinyl said.

 

"I know it's not an excuse, but I just wanted to cut him some slack. He came from a hard life, so he was probably just trying to pick up a few extra bits." There was a short, but awkward, silence between the two. "So um... After this party, I was wondering if you'd like to, I don't know, go back to my place or something?"

Well, she thought about it, so maybe I have a shot.

"I could probably work something out with one of the princesses if you want. It shouldn't be too hard, considering we'd be going to the castle anyway."

Or maybe we could go to Scratch's house. She wouldn't mind.

"Or if you don't want to go to the castle, we could always go to my sister's house or your house."

She waves him off, putting a hoof to her head, "Fine... I just need some time... Thank you, Mal. It was very nice meating you," she says, staggering of, buzzed. She exits and holds the door open for some reluctant pony. Headache before the beginning of the show. You don't get out much, do you? Images played in her head, explosions, looting, death in the streets... For good reason.

Whirl Wake wolfed down his drink and waved bye to Vinyl Blade before trotting out the doors of the noisy night club. It was late, but he was as energetic as can be. He galloped to the park in the heart of Canterlot and flew around, studying the abundant plants and animals that existed there.

Sky really wasn't too sure about the mare, which was by now rather close to him. The stallion Sky had been copying stopped dancing and so did Sky. "You need to get off the dancefloor Sky...think, think, think." Sky thought to himself. "Can I buy you a drink?" Sky asked Hunter.

hunter trotted up to the bar alongside Sky, she liked the way his golden eyes sparkled in the lights of the nightclub

"careful, i spotted the bartender spiking everypony's drinks earlier, keep your wits about you"

Sky sweat dropped. Earlier he had downed a drink without a second thought. "So...Uhh... What would you like?" Sky asked Hunter as the Bartender came over. "Could I have a White Russian?" Sky asked the Bartender "And the Mare will have..." Sky trailed off and waited for Hunter to answer.
