Colt saw the sky getting clear as a rainbow mane mare helped the other ponies to take care of the weather over Ponyville. The last blow of lighting put him almost on the ropes and he could see some of this scales were broken and burnt for the plasma impacts “You are not doing good” he thought, still this was no over, he just have in mind that his new “friend” Iron Wing flew over to another more raging storm and. 

 

“Your friend” he thought with sarcasm “you only got to know her some time for one day”  still that was away from what really matters she was probably in danger and even how strong she was no pony could stay safe on a storm like that one.

 

As soon as he realized the clouds were not a hazard anymore and the lightings went down he took a look into the town and saw some of the ponies injured but nothing life threatening in the end.

 

He took a big breath watched into the clouds in the mountains and with a gust on wind on his wings darted towards the mountains in the same direction he saw Iron Wing a few minutes before. Hoping she was all right.

Sky looked with his half-opened eyes at the red pegasus as he took an inhaler and use something on his chest. He tried to stand, but stopped as soon as he got his gaze blurred and he laid back. Any little movement made his head dizzy, so he decided not to move.

"The storm...how is the storm?" Sky asked to the pegasus with a sound which was not as loud as a whisper.

Draco threw away the talisman as he said using ventriliquism "It's done so you don't have to worry about it. Now I'm going to sit down and wait for you to get better because I can see you over extended your self," Draco looked at Sky "Your an idiot you kno that right taking on that size of a storm with only afew pegasi," he rolled his eyes as the pain subsided in his side.

Sky wanted to snort but held it when he remembered that his nose was bleeding. He pulled his head backward so the blood won't spill and sighed, "That's the only thing I can do. I can't let anypony else took such danger" He stopped for a while "Nopony...".

"That was just an accident. I have no idea how could a frying pan fly so fast", He rose an eyebrow as he looked at the red pegasus and chuckled, "I'm fine...thanks for saving me 'eh?"

Angel Feather looked under the couch.  "Bunny!" she called.  She lifted her head and looked around quickly.  "Bunny?!"  Standing up, Angel hurried upstairs.  She looked under the beds, everywhere.  Had the bunny left?  Angel hurried downstairs.  She looked out the window at the now, clear sky.

"At least if the bunny left, its okay out," she said the moment she heard a hopping sound behind her.

You don't have the healing talismans to heal you like I do," Draco said while also cursing in zebracan. "Now as I was saying that storm if I had to guess was an F-5 class lighting storm. You say you don't want any pony to get hurt pah," Draco said as he looked at the blue pegasus infront of him. "I know when to hold' em I know when to fold em. I know when to walk away. But you, *laughs* you chose to play your hand and you lost," Draco said

Sky stifle a laugh when he heard those words. He knew that most ponies may get mad if they were confronted by those word, but I had been a long time since he really get mad and he just too lazy for that. With a smirk in his face, he said "I said that it was an accident and yes, I don't want any pony else to take such danger".

"He don't understand. I just have nopony who worry about me".

He looked back to the red pegasus and rose an eyebrow, "You're not a weather pony aren't you? You did try to handle something which is not your thing, so don't complain to me about that"

"I'm a pegasus I can handle the weather remember," Draco said as he looked at the blue pegasus "I maybe a courier pony but I know more about controling the raging fires within me. I've lived on my own ever since my family died in a fire. They were killed by arson," he said as he looked out the window. "I lost everything but I followed my family's motto Begin again but know when to let go. Now would you kindly grow a set and ask the other pegasi to help next time," Draco said as he left. He put Duran back onto his back. "Because if you on't the neck pony you'll see is the dealer. You'll have to ante up,"

"Wait!" Sky said with as loud as he could. It was just as loud as a normal talk, but enough to get the pegasus's attention. "Name...You won't leave without giving yer name don't you?". Sky was a loner stallion, but he respect ponies by their deeds, and he thought he have to know the pegasus's name.

"It wasn't about rage. I've extinguished that fire a long time ago. I just don't want to lose anyone...not again" He thought as he waited the pegasus for an answer.

Draco asked jkingly "I'm called Courier by some ponies and other call me Draco choose which ever you want, but remember this blue pegasus that being alone never works for anypony. Not I, I drink whenever I am alone I am a broken vessal of sorrow and regret," Draco said as he walked towards Sweet Apple Acres.

Rainbow Dash whipped up the last few clouds. She let Draco take care of Sky. "All better." Rainbow said to no one in particular. "Wonder if Twilight's up." Rainbow zipped downwards, heading towards the library. 

 

Charmer had watched as Sky had plummeted. She didn't know him very well, but she'd go and head to the hospital to see if he was okay. A few minutes later, Charmer was at the hospital. The rain was all cleared up. And it seemed like no one had been hurt, besides Rain and Sky. Charmer walked up to the desk, and asked for Sky's room number. She trotted up the stairs, and opened the door. "Sky? It's Charmer. I've been away for a few weeks. Are you okay?"

Iron Wing had commenced her mission and flew to the mountains at top speed. The weather near her destination seemed to be worse than in Ponyville. She looked back and noticed that the storm in Ponyville cleared slowly up. At least she had not to worry about this anymore. She lowered her altitude to reach the canyon some ponies had told her about. With breathtaking speed she adjusted to the canyons route. Within the canyon the winds were not a problem, but thunders and lightnings struck on the edge of the canyon, continually causing rocks to fall down. Iron had started evading maneuvers but some stones hit her hard. She didn´t want to abort the mission because some ponies had told her about a cave and that it would be difficult to find it without the light of a lightning. That was the cause why they had found it in the first place. She dived deeper into the canyon and one thunder cracked up some stones, causing Iron Wing to fly into a cloud of shingle, small and sharp stones. The little stones hit her armor and created sparks on hiting it.

 

Finally she got sight of the cave the ponies had talked about. She flew right into it, starting to explore it. She landed on a safe ground, putting out her equipment. She had to act fast because the storm caused the ceiling to break on some places. Iron draw the cave into her map and stuffed away the equipment. She flew out of the cave and wanted to fly back to Ponyville as a lightning hit her. Dazed from the energy of the lightning she flew against the wall of the canyon, falling down to the ground. "Great, now i am injured..." she mumbled as she got up some moments later. Iron knew that she had to leave this area before she got injured badly, so she flew up again and started to gain speed. She had already bruises and she had a blurred vision, also her armor looked in bad shape. The risks were high but she could fly faster if she gained more height. She decided to try it and went up in the sky, With strong wing flaps she gained more speed, reaching her own limit that she was able to hold. Was there something in the sky that approached her? It was Colt!

 

The dragon seemed to follow her, but luckily she was already done with her mission. She hadn´t reached him yet, but started to shout to him. "Hey there Colt! Everything is fine! We can head back to Ponyville now!" On this moment Iron got struck with a heavy lightning. Some of her equipment started to get on fire, also her left wing got burned badly and smoked. She had too much speed to be stopped right away and crossed Colt at this moment. Her flight got out of control and she was loosing altitude fast. The pain was terrible but she was trained not to scream. Also she was stunned from the lightning and couldn´t move right away. She was too far away from Ponyville or Sweet Apple Acres to just land there, just the Everyfree Forest below her.

As he flew over the ever free forest and the beginning of a big cannon Colt's senses were trying to get everything around him, a sight, a sound, a scent, something else  anything that gave him a trail on Iron Wing he was not thinking just focusing as a far away resonance got into his ears he turned his eyes to find the source, there she was over the distance, for a second he relaxed and felt at ease but that was short lived as a bolt strike the pegasus in mid air filling his eyes with a horrendous view and his mind with terrible memories as he saw his “friend” going down with fire and smoke among her.

 

“NO!” a resounded on the sky with anguish.

 

He just reacted and shot himself with haste towards the injured mare going faster by each moment and judging the situation. He passes by her and noticing in that instant she was awake but unable to move. His shadow wings extended and he turned around as soon he has below her keeping speed on this drop to match hers and hold Iron Wing gently taking the flames on her equipment out with his hand and going down hovering softly till the landing. “By Celestia Iron Wing open your eyes, say something” he said with and grief filled voice.  

 

As they keep the slow way to the ground he was able to “feel” Iron Wing heart, now knowing she was still with him that ease his mind enough to bring his mind back to the game and realized a find a good landing spot. He spotted a gigantic root vine that covered some ground among big trees, it was dry and would work well as a guarding roof for now.

 

As they landed Colt’s iris started to glow with golden bright inside his eyes, a carpet of crystal curst started to grow over the ground at his feet, those kept some, reminisces of his magical power were inside them to make it warm, he laid her down over it as his voiced cracked the natural atmosphere of the EverFree Forest.

 

“Iron Wing answer me, wake up!”

"well deserved for the hero of both Ponyville and my heart"

she filled a couple wine glasses and gestured for rain to come and join her on the floor. she bit back on the rose, looking seductive for her stallion

Rain grinned and sat next to Hunter, he picked up both of the wine glasses. He held one out for hunter to take but when she reached for it he pulled it back."You gotta pay the toll for the wine." He said pulling the same thing off that she had done the day before. He winked and leaned in for a kiss.

Draco was flying over head. He heard Colt yell out. He quickly flew over to the Everfree Forrest. "Hey any-pony need help?" Draco yelled out as he circled from above. His large wings flapping slowly. "Loks like your mistress is in trouble eh Duran?"

Colt was worried Iron Wing did not respond and he couldn’t move her with her condition, she had some injuries on her side and the lighting strike could have open internal wounds. The storm among them was raging and he was not at his prime in body and mind as he could noticed he was not thinking clearly because his concerns for Iron Wing.

 

As he was concerning what to do he listen to a voice coming from among the stormy skies the source was Draco the pegasus he talk to a day before on the injured mare tower.

 

“For the sun and the moon, do everypony in town wants to get a bolt in their record today?” he thought as he wave to Draco calling him.

 

“Come down is not safe among the clouds” he yelled at him.

“The storm over Ponyville diminished but over here raged with fury just as now, I follow her and as soon as I was able to left the town but as soon I was able to set an eye on her a powerful thunderbolt reach her I was able to catch her before hitting ground but I don’t know how bad she is, her heart beats strong enough but”  … he stoped for a second as his mind pictured the worst case scenario.  “We have to get her out of here as soon as we can”

Iron Wing woke up slowly. She opened her eyes but everything was blurred. She heard the voices of Colt and Draco and listened to them for a short while. This damn lightning! She could withstand some damage, she had proven that in her past a lot, but this lightning was just powerful. "Hey guys... " she mumbled. "I... i don´t think i... need healing magic..." she said soft. She looked around and noticed that she was laying on the ground. Iron started to move a bit trying to stand up. Slowly she raised her body and changing the position from lying to a sitting. She stretched a bit and feld the pain of smoked left wing. "Ouch... this surely was a high concentrated lightning..." she mumbled. Her armor looked like she had gone to war with it. Scratches, some holes and some parts did even melt on the energy of the thunder. "I think i should walk... i don´t think i can fly like that..." she said to Colt and Draco.

Colt’s feel like a complete chill running from his head to his hind claws “She is back”  he sighed as his thoughts went slowly back to normal.

 

“Are you sure you are Ok? ” he said looking to the rising mare straight to her eyes.

 

“If we are going back to Ponyville we will have to cross through Everfree its going to be rough not to say the storm is not setting down”

 

He noticed she was not doing very well her legs were shaking and her eyes look like confused.

 

 

"Draco wait, she is back with us" he said as holding gently the stallion by his shoulder, he noticed how the eyes of Iron Wing shacked when he mentioned the armor it was obviously important for her  and holding her down as she struggled in pain could be more of a threat to any injuries inside her “is just as you said some times the cure can be worse than the poison” 

 

“Lets just rest here for some minutes we can decide what to do when we have less lightnings in our heads”
