Indigo noticed that Angel was blushing.  Huh? What's she blushing about?  Maybe she realized she ndged me by accident?  Indigo blushed again.  "Uhh... We could... Go for a walk? I know a nice path to walk on, I think...  If I can remember it where it is.."  I did know some kinda' path that was nice to walk on, but I don't exactly remember where...  I bet I could find it if we head out towards my old school...  "I know there should be a path out by the school I think."

"Sure...let's go then," Angel Feather said.  She didn't really know where the school was.  But a nice simple walk would be lovely.  It was nice to take walks in Canterlot, as there was a nice breeze since Canterlot was high up, but Ponyville seemed...fresher for some reason.

Indigo began walking in the direction of the school.  With school on his mind, he decided to talk about the topic.  "So you said you weren't that good at magic compared to other unicorns at your school?  I kinda know how that feels... I wasn't much of a flier at all when I was in flight school...  My wings just didn't want to grow at the same rate as everypony else is what I was told.  I still passed but still wasn't very good..."

"Oh, shes a sweetheart huh? I thought of her more as some loud rowdy trouble maker, guess I was being stereotypical huh? So your Bi huh? Well just know that I don't mind, lots of my friends are bi so...Meh." Rain flipped over to his side so he could look at Hunter, she looked, well beautiful i this kind of sunlight. He sighed and smiled, he was glad he could spend this kinda time with her.

"dont get me wrong, she can be rowdy at times but not as bad as some ponies I've met"

hunter smiled and turned to the colt looking at her

"is there something on my face? there must be because you seem to be looking at me for a while"

she burst out laughing. she knew she was winding him up so she settled down

Angel smiled.  "I guess we were both overestimated," she paused, questioning whether or not she should ask him or not.  "Were...you bullied?" she asked as casually as possible, moving her mane back from her face so she could see where she was going as they walked along.

"Well, yeah... A bit... It's half of the reason I... um..."  I can't say that I quit...  She'd probably think I was a quitter...  I was young and couldn't take it no matter how much my parents tried to help me deal with it...  Indigo's pace slowed down. "It's most of the reason I moved to Ponyville...  I wasn't bullied in Ponyville at all.  But there was...  That one day..."  Indigo's pace slowed down even more, but as soon as he noticed, he came back to a normal pace.

Angel looked at him straight in the eye.  He's upset, she immediately knew.  She paused, unsure whether or not to ask him about it.  "Hey, Indigo...are you okay?" Angel asked quietly.  She made sure not to look straight at him so he wouldn't feel uncomfortable.  She kept her hooves moving at a normal pace.

"Uhh.. Yeah... I think... I had a bad experience one day while in Ponyville.. It wasn't... Uh.. Anything too bad..."  I thought I could avoid the memories of that day...  It really was the worst day ever...  Memories of that day rushed through Indigo's thoughts, and he completely stopped in his tracks.  His eyes began to water.

Angel stopped as he did.  She turned to him.  "I-Indigo?" she whispered, worriedly.  She hurried over and put her face right in front of his.  "Are you okay, Indigo?  I'm really sorry I asked, Indigo!  I didn't mean to...to make you upset," she said quickly, starting to get upset herself.

Indigo snapped back to reality, still some tears in his eyes though.  "It's ok, I'm sorry, I just... Couldn't hold back the memories I tried to repress... I'm fine now, really, it's not your fault.  Maybe I'll tll you what happened later?  I don't want you upset too, I'd feel terrible for making you upset... Uhhh.. Where were we walking again?"

Angel went over and gave him a quick hug around the neck.  Then, she dropped her front hoofs back to the ground and pointed to where she could see a school a short distance away.  "There I think.  You said there was a nice place to walk somewhere around there," she said gently.

The hug made Indigo feel much better.  "Thanks for that.... I really needed one of those...  I don't know if I'm ready to be that close to the school after all that though... Maybe we can find somewhere to sit and hang out?  You did want me to read those stories sometime didn't you?  And anyways, now that I remember, I think the trail goes out towards the Everfree Forest anyways.  I'm sorry about that, again...  Anything you want to do?"

Angel nodded and smiled at him.  "If she want to read my stories, I have all the finished ones at my house," she laughed.  "So I guess we'll have to walk back...unless...of course you want to do anything else," she added quickly.  To cover it up she tilted her head at the school.

"Ok, well, is there anything special you want to do?"  I think she's hiding something maybe?  I mean, I've made alot of suggestions today on stuff to do, so maybe there's something she wants to do?  "I mean, I don't mind going back and reading your stories, but I just wanna make sure we're doing something that you want to do."

To be honest, all Angel Feather wanted to do was go back to Canterlot, crawl under the covers of her nice, soft bed in her dorm room and never have left boarding school.  If only she could stay young forever.  Even though she didn't like it there, it was some where to be.  Angel shrugged.  "Maybe...we can just go back to my house?"

"Okay, sounds like a good Idea"  Indigo smiled and turned back towards Angel's house.  I really hope I didn't upset her too much for me being upset...  And I need some relaxing...  It'll be nice to sit and chat there and not have to worry about my bad memories showing up again...  And hopefully the same with her bad memories...

When they arrived, Angel unlocked the door and pushed it open.  "Here we are!" she said.  She looked around at the boxes everywhere.  "I...I've only unpacked my snow globes and stuff," she said sheepishly, looking over to where they crowded the mantel top.  She sat down in front of a box with a label that read Writing on it.

Indigo went over to the snow globes.  Oh, cool!  I didn't know she had these things, I used to always mess around with them at the store when I was younger.  "Maybe sometime tomorrow after I try to see if there's any shops I can buy, I could come help you unpack and stuff.  I don't really have much for personal belongings...  And i'm curious as to what cool things you have from Canterlot, if it's ok that I help..."

The way to the library was long in his mind and the confusion was still getting all of his attention as he walked he noticed he has gone maybe too long as he was watching the school and to what he recalled from his walk the day before we just lost the way to the library.

 

In front of the school he realized a pair of ponies walking towards him, snapping out of his thoughts he could sense the some kind of weight in them… He came up with a conclusion that it was not an influence of one over the other so as the day was just too good for him he decided to share a little.

 

“Maybe a gift from a stranger will rise them up “ he thought. As he watched the young mare cutie mark he got an idea. He claped his hands together and concentrate for a moment.  That would do.

 

As the couple walk by his side he interrupted them with a soft voice.

 

“Smile, is a very nice day to have those heavy eyes”  as he said so he gave them a pair of chrystal made quills similar to the one of the silver mare.

 

That’s all what he said as he left the quills in their hooves, after that he just continued his way to the library

Angel smiled.  "Sure," she said as she dug around in the box.  She pulled out a small blue notebook.  "Here.  You can read this one.  This one is the shortest one I have.  I think," she said, holding it out to him.  "Its about my kitten...uhm...you'll find out anyway," she blushed.

Indigo chuckled, "About a kitten?  Thats kinda cute, but i'll still read it."  Indigo smiled and picked it up and sat down.  "By the way, what did you think about that dragon that randomly came by? And the two quills that he gave us?  He just said some words and walked away."  And how'd he know that we were upset? Was he watching us?  Indigo began reading the story about Angel's kitten.

Sky Warden landed on the marketplace. A quick search on the marketplace didn't give him something interesting to eat. He snorted, I guess this time is fine for my pocket, and walked to the Sugarcube Corner. He met some ponies in his way who greeted him. He replied with a simple "Hello" and occasional nod-and-smile move.

After a breakfast of pancake and coffee, he walked to the library for some books.

Angel laughed.  "He was really nice.  He reminded me of that Pinkie Pie pony, but he was nice in a quiet way," Angel smiled and pulled the quill out of her bag on floor.  "Its a nice quill too.  I've seen plenty of dragons before in Canterlot.  Usually during school."

"Oh yeah, Pinkie, I guess that makes sence...  I saw her today to say 'hi'.  She helped me out when I was younger...  Actually, on the day that.... Erm, nevermind...  We went through that once today.  But that reminds me, I have two friends in Ponyville then I guess.  I almost forgot to include Pinkie, mainly 'cause she's friends with everypony...  And I don't typically see dragons all too much.  The only one i've ever spoken to before was Spike, the one who helps at the library.  Anyways, I like this story of yours."  Indigo was about halfway through now.  You know, I might actually enjoy reading.

Rust stood for a moment, thinking about what Vinyl had just said. He had the opportunity to stay somewhere, to interact with other ponies! But did he really want to do that? His knowledge of Equestria was sketchy at best and he had no idea what he'd do here. Another look at Vinyl finally settled it. She looked lonely, and he felt bad about just leaving. At last he sighed, and spoke.

"Okay, I'll stay. But only for a few days... just a hoof rest. A chance to stay in a town longer than half an hour. Thanks for the room." he smiled a little. "It was kind of you. Nobody has been that kind for a while." he glanced over to the window and  watched the passing ponies. "Wanna explore the town?" he asked excitedly. "Oh, and you can keep those gems. Use them to like.. remember me or something."
