Very cool design.

Needs a nostril and some redoing the feather pattern on the wing.

Aso, her right wing needs some repositioning.

 

Might be part of the design, but is the green eye-outline intentional? She's also missing eyelashes.

Oh yeah I did forget the eyelashes and I just worked of a picture I got from her on tumblr the green outline is intentional andni this I'd my style so I don't draw nostrils unless its discord or a Draconequus and what's wrong with the right wing? Is it just the way she's facing?

Why don't people understand different art styles?

Excuse me for not copying the show in every way possible.

Yeah it's not my character, it's someone else's on tumblr, I'd tell u guys if it was my original character, but anything that isn't my say so is fan art for another person ok? And ^ this girl is awesome for understanding woot woot

I assumed, that he aspired to the show's style, since that's what most people here do (and how similar this looks to that style) and pointed out how it could be improved.

That being said, I still think that the picture would benefit from the changes I suggested.

If you are posting your work here, you must accept that some people will do more than just brohoof and tell you your stuff is perfect.

Noone has ever improved because of praise.

Just because you personally try to copy the show's art work doesn't mean that's what everyone does.

"Make your picture like the show and drop your personal art style" is not a criticism.

The picture was clearly not attempting to be 'show-accurate' therefore it's invalid criticism.

I assumed That Horror tried to emulate the show's style because in proportion, head and eye design and the general style of the picture (vector outlines and a pastel colours) are very reminiscent of it. If he had stated that this was not his, goal, i would have phrased my reply differently. As it was I made the (wrong) assumption, that he was going for show-accuracy.

yeah I don't really use anything towards the show I draw in a different style that I'm proud of, and the only way I ever use the shows images or pictures is when I'm getting a color palette and nothing more. Besides I don't like nostrils they look weird to me on ponies :/

really cute!  the white coat with bright rainbow hair reminds me of Starbrite though D: im sorry! its rainbow brite's horse.... >>; maybe a pastel rainbow? i do like the bow and coloured hooves, and the rainbow fetlocks though. they make nice distinctive accents.  right front leg may need to be nudged upwards a bit. and the wing? i couldnt say im terrible with that haha

you said that no one has ever improved because of praise? i dont want praise, all i want is too show people my art, what they tell me is just a boost of enthusiasm for me to draw better for them, and if no one improved of praise,.... how come i did?
