[Marathon 562]

"Besides getting a complete rejection from rose..not really. I think i just surprised her a little to much. I think she thought i was mad because she thought i liked you." Stacy sighed. "Truth be told i dont know what im going to do on this boat for four weeks. Im more concerned for fixing my friendship with some pony back home." She said looking at the floor, dreaming that little hop was sitting right next to her stroking her mane like she always did when stacy felt bad.

Bright Spark could see that Stacy was thinking about other things. under any normal situation he wouldve helped. But this felt different. wether it had been that he still felt guilty for making her mad, or just because he didnt have free will over his desisions in here. Bright spark decided to do what he does best. he sat down beside her "hey, its ok. Ill be here if you need help ok?"

[Marathon 562]

"You dont understand. She was like a sister to me. Irreplaceable. I went on that camping trip and when i came back i was..different. I wasnt me. She tryed to help me see it but i refused to face the truth. In the end i ruined our friendship for what seems like forever. I just want this trip to be over as soon as possible so i can go and fix things." She turned away from him. "This is something you cant help with."

"The tub will work." Rose dipped her horn in the water, purifying it of any chemicals and grime. Then she set to work over the water, dropping various herbs into it, starting with aconite. Good thing he kept the water warm, she thought. 

 

The tedious potionmaking was almost therapeutic for Rose. It helped her calm down and organise her thoughts. Admittedly, it didn't make it any easier to choose between Spark and Stacy, but the tediousness of the process helped her recognize that Stacy liking her wasn't such a big deal, and that she had overreacted. She felt bad, and promised herself to visit Stacy again when she was done. 

 

After a good half an hour, Rose, her hair made frizzy from the fumes, exclaimed that the aconite potion was done, and was without a single flaw. It glowed a molten orange color, and drops of the potion were bouncing around on the surface of the liquid. She took a beaker from her satchel, filled it to exactly as much was needed for a lykippos Morningstar's size, and gave the beaker to one of his guards. "He doesn't know me, and he looks like he's reaching the point where he'll bite strangers."

 

(OOC: This is one of my best compositions ever. I want to preserve this paragraph permanently. Haha)

Bright Spark figured this much. "right, well if im not helping i'll umm just get going now. you know where to find me. you know just next door A3." He walked away. he may have not made her happy, but at least she wont kill him now right? he returned to his room, and curled onto the bed to sleep.

After a few minutes of playing her violin Star decided to go visit Stacy. "I am rather curious as to what happened between her and Morning Star." She thought, putting her violin away and trotting down the hall to Stacy's room.

When she arrived she saw Bright Spark leaving. "I wonder who that is... and what he was doing in Stacy's room." She thought, Watching him trot down the hall as she knocked on the door of Stacy's room.

Stacy watched as spark left. After he was gone she said quietly, "Bye..." She left her door open and went to the dresser where the flower was. Opening the drawer she took out a note pad and pencil. Before she could write anything she heard some pony knock on her door. She went to it and found star. "Hey star...whats up?" She asked trying to sound upbeat

Draco walked by with a bounce to his step and singing a happy song. He had a song in his heart as he walked. "Heartaches by the number troubles by the score everyday you love me less everyday I love you more" Draco sang out then started to whistle the tune.

Morning star took  the potion from Rose and took a few gulps from it at first he vomited it, Then after awhile he reverted back into a pony. "Thank you rose now for your reward and some extra perks added on there as well, how would you like to dine with me? and also you can enter ,y room when ever you like". Morning star smiled warmly at her he wanted to get to know her some more before she go's about her busyness.

"Thats really pretty." Star said, Smiling at Draco as he trotted by, She then turned to Stacy. "Hey Stacy, I have Wonderfuulll... Whats wrong ?" She asked, Noticing Stacy's rather sad look.

'Oh dear... Somethings up." She thought, Standing at the door. "Did something happen ? Oops... Im sorry, I shouldn't noise around in your business." She muttered.

[Descant 1,898]

Rose laughed kindly at the offer, saying, "No, no, I don't need a reward. Well, I mean, I wouldn't mind having my stock of herbs replenished;  I used almost everything I had with me on this potion. Plus it gave me a much needed opportunity to think..." Rose turned as if she was about to leave. "I have something I need to go do. So, if you don't mind..."

Somber was just sitting outside in the hallway, thinking about Star... Did he actually have feelings for her? Did she have feelings for him? Were they meant to be a couple? Was that free trip fate for him? Or something more? Instead of answering those questions, he grabbed his guitar from his room and sat back down, playing an old song from his childhood.

[Marathon 562]

Stacy waved star inside her room and explained what happened. "Well after lunch spark told me he was going to ask out Rose. I got angry 'cause i like rose. And then she was here a while ago and i asked her, she freaked out and bolted out of my room. And then spark came in and we chatted a little." She said all in one breath.

Morning star nod his head."Men be sure to give this pony a lot herbs she needs and be sure to see her out, but as for you rose I owe you my life and so much more and  i don't know how to repay you , but i can do this for you". Morning star handed her his necklace which sapphire gave him.

"Oh Stacy, I am sorry. I know how that feels... I had this same thing happen when I was younger." Star said, Stepping in threw the door and sitting on the couch. Then Draco spoke. "I dont mind but Stacy has had allot going on today so its up to her." Star said, smiling faintly.

Rose shook her head humbly. "I can't take this. It must be worth more than this entire cruise ship! Besides, wasn't that your special's..." Rose was honored that he would even offer such a prize, but she simply could not accept. "I'm in cabin 7B," she told him. "You can just drop off the herbs there tonight. I really need to be going." And going she was. 

 

She arrived at Stacy's room to see Star inside. She poked her head in through the door hesitantly, suddenly aware her hair was still standing on end from the fumes of the potion. She hoped Stacy would not be angry with her, or sad.

"oh! No its fine. You can come in if you want its not a problem really." She then smiled. *Well at this rate i might as well invite the whole ship to my room* she thought as she went to sit on her bed. "I enjoy the compony. It makes the pain a little easier to handle, you know." She said not sure what to say.

Rose looked away from Stacy. She looked at her hooves, afraid to say what she was going to. Especially with so many ponies there to hear it. But she said it anyway.

 

"I'm sorry I ran away earlier. I overreacted. It's just... I don't know what I want anymore. Spark beat you to me, and I didn't know you felt this way, so I said yes. I don't know who I like, nor who my special somepony is, or if I haven't completely messed everything up." She laid down, on the verge of tears, and covered her face with her hooves. "I'm sorry! I just don't know what I want anymore!"

Morning star and his guards started to delver the herbs to Roses Room , he had a note attached to the herbs in his own writing."I thank you Rose more then you can ever think, but let these herbs and the money to show my thanks , again my cabin doors are always open to you and your friends". Morning star started to clean his room up encase any pony wants to come and see him.

Somber could hear some arguing and some upset ponies down the hall. He picked up his guitar and went down to the entrance, sitting next to it, and started to play a calming tune that he had learned before coming onto the ship. Hopefully, this will calm everypony down...

Moonbeam smiled back at him, blushing a little. "So," she said, "With all of the trouble from before, I never got to ask you about yourself. Where are you from?" Moonbeam felt something, but she didn't know what it was. She just knew she was glad she had bumped into Firecracker earlier.

"I pretty much live in Ponyville, not really that special of a place. Where are you from?"  he answered and questioned Moonbeam. He was never on a boat before, but he wasn't seasick here. "Also, do you know where this boat is going?"

Stacy felt bad seeing rose like that. She got up and walked to her, laying a hoof on her shoulder. "Its ok, you didnt mess everything up. I actual chatted with him not to long ago. We both agreed that we dont mind if you chose the other." Stacy lifter rose to her hooves. "You have nothing to worry about." She smiled at rose to cumfurt her.

Bright spark got up a little annoyed. the arguing he could understand, but now there was that pony again playing music outside his own room! he opened the door and turned towards the pony with the guitar. "look i know your trying to help calm evreypony down but i am trying to sleep. so could you please stop for tonight?"

Draco felt awkward as he watched the scene play out before him. "Umm do you want me to leave?" Draco asked as he looked between the two mares. "You know this might not be my place Stacy. Why don't you try finding love somewhere else. I mean not trying to sound like an arse but why not try a stallion. Maybe not me since I'm probably not on your list of stallions to date," Draco said.
