Star hugged him tightly. "We are all going to get out of this, Together as friends. Those flowers are still in the hot spring Rose and I were in... I am sure they would help, Come on." She took him by the hoof and led him back into the jungle towards the hot springs.

As Somber was dragged out of the water by Star, a idea was beginning to form.

 

"Star... I just got an idea. But we'll need everyone's help. Start making a boat at the remote part of the island. Fill it with as many supplies as you can. I'll keep the slave act for a bit, then I'll make the escape. That's when the boat will be fully ready."

Scamps woke with a start and rolled out of her hammock. She walked over to the main part of Greenleaf's hut and looked at Airy, He still hasn't woken up yet...come on, Airy, I need you to wake up. For your wings.

 

Scamps cocked her head while looking at Greenleaf. "Any progress on Airy's wing? I'm sure you could do something while he's still asleep, right?"

After a short nap stacy woke up full of energy. She looked down at her side and the scars and marks were gone. She felt a little disapointed that they had but got up and decided to play the ocarina to pass the time waiting for rose to stop by. She picked it up and looked at it for a second. She began to play the soft tune she had played numerous times at the campout. It didnt have quiet the same effect it used to have back then, its like its not as special anymore...

Rose was dazing, listening to the whispering of the forest. She jumped, seeming to snap out of a trance, then glanced around. The sun was high in the sky. She had gotten carried away in the whispers. She got out of the pool clumsily, and shook herself off. She felt like a raisin! She laughed at herself, and walked back towards the village.

After a short moment of playing the ocarina, Stacy put it back down gently so she wouldnt damage it more than it was from the water. She got up an began to pace. Stacy realized how much she paced. It seemed like when she was bored, she would pace. If she was angry she would pace. If she was upset, worried or anything else she would pace. The idea of how much she paced...made her want to pace for some reason. She didnt know why, but she did. *Maybe ill eat some more fruit.* she thought walking over to the small pile she had made.

Rose was halfway to the village before she noticed that she had actually been walking on her leg that had been swollen before the whole trip back. She looked back at her leg. The only sign that it had been useless before was the faint purple splotch that was a fraction of the size of the bruise that had been there before. She gazed at it, amazed. Continuing on her way, she saw Stacy pacing next to a huge pile of fruit....

"I am afraid to say that he must be awake... I need to know that he wants to do this because... It will be very very tiring." Greenleaf said to Scamps.

 

"I think... That could actually work... We would need lots and lots of supplies, Plus a good place to hide the boat but it may work." Star smiled and climbed into the pool with the flower. "Huh... For some reason this feels more hot than before."

 

(OOC: Any objections to a volcano eruption so we have to get off the island at super short notice ?)

[Windy Scamper 403]

"Oh, okay," Scamps said, slightly disappointed. She walked outside to the main part of camp and saw Stacy and Rose. "Hi guys!" Scamps said. She then noticed that Rose's leg was healed. "Whoa, Rose, your leg is...okay! Greenleaf must be a really good healer..." she trailed off as she looked back at his hut.

 

((OOC: Wait until Naturematthe is back, which will be tomorrow-ish))

"It should. I want to be free of this stupid ownership crap now...", Somber said as he walked back into the water with Star, immediately noticing its increased temperature.

 

"Uh... Star? Is it me or is the hot springs more... Hot than usual? Something is not right with this..."

"It will work... and Yes, I was... I was just thinking the same thing." She said, in a slightly scared voice. "This island isn't volcanic is it ?" She asked herself, Looking around at the jungle.

 

(OOC: So lets have the volcano erupt after a few days... Before the actual eruption there can be mini tremors and stuff... That will also let Airy learn to use his wings again.)

Rose smiled, and looked down upon her leg again. "Yes, isn't it amazing? I never would have gotten such progress with it myself. I don't recognise any of the plants here. Maybe at home... Well. Who's to say?" She really was rather excited about being able to walk again. She looked at the middle of the faint splotch that remained on her leg, and saw the tiniest cut... It must have been infected to do that...

Somber started to move a little closer to Star, acting a bit scared.

 

"I think I know why this spring is soooo hot. It's because... *gulps* This island has a rarely active volcano... And I think it's one of those times where it is active..."

 

He hugged her tight, worrying.

Scamps smiled. "Yeah, well, at least your okay now." Scamps' eyes wandered back over to Greenleaf's hut where Airy was still unconcious. "I wish I could say the same about Airy." Scamps then remembered what Greenleaf had said about his wing and smiled. "On a happier note, Greenleaf said that there's a possibility thay Airy will fly again!"

Suddenly, Moonbeam awoke next to the hot spring and jerked her head into the air. "Tell Firecracker to meet me by the beach," she said quickly before picking up a stick and running off into the jungle in the direction of the beach where they had arrived. In the sand she began to draw a strange series of symbols, stopping every once in a while to check the progress of her work or adjust the depth or thickness of each line.

Star stared into Somber's eyes. "W-What do w-we do ?" She asked in a scared voice, Hugging Somber back. "We need to get off this island... We cant waist any time... We need to warn the zebras and get everypony from the ship... Then we need to leave." She said, a tear rolling down her cheek.

[Descant 1,898]

Rose's eyes grew wide. "She can do that? She can make him fly again? This zebra can work miracles!" She seemed even more excited now. "I need to start collecting herb samples to take home with me. Maybe I can figure out how she plans to do it." Rose enthusiastically started plucking several tiny seeds from the nearest tree and putting them in tiny pockets in her satchel.

"I know... We have to tell everyone."

 

Somber gets from out of the water, and extends his wings, ready to fly... Until he forgets that his wing is still bruised, making him cry out in pain, falling to the ground, holding the tenderly damaged wing. His face cringes up.

Star climbed out of the pool. "We are just going to have to run." She said, Looking back at her broken win. *Well... At least it is much better than before." She thought, Running as fast as she could back to the village, Looking back to make sure Somber was following.

Somber was about to chase after Star, until a hoof caught his back. He turned around to see a guard.

 

"Why have you not any disguise?! You know you must have on the disguise!", he cried as he cracked a whip on Somber's bad wing. He yelled out in pain, stumbling into the hot spring,

Star turned around when she heard Somber yell. "GET AWAY FROM HIM." She screamed, Running at the zebra and knocking him into the hot spring he was standing in front of. "Somber, Are You Ok ?" She asked, Helping him climb out of the spring. "Dont you EVER hurt him again." She stared angrily at the zebra in the spring.

Suddenly a voice came into his head to go down to the beach, he was in a day dream after Somber rejected their help "Uh, he has to be stubborn..." he thought. He started to trot down the beach when he saw Somber along with Star come back from the place where he was about to head to. "Huh, he changed his mind... good." he thought. Firecracker then got to the beach where Moonbeam was.

The guard was shocked by the attack as he fell into the pool. He looks back to Star, glaring at her.

 

"This is none of your business. I can damage him all I want!", he sneered as he got up from the spring, snapping the whip back at Somber's wing again.

 

Somber was crouched over, his pain doubling by the second.

"I said...LEAVE HIM ALONE." She screamed at the zebra then hit him as hard as she could across his face. "A BUCKING VOLCANO IS GOING TO ERUPT AND YOU ARE HERE FORCING SOMEPONY TO GET FRUIT FROM A TREE ?... I Am Ashamed We Are The Same Race." She glared at the pony. Star had never gotten this angry before. "If he does anything else...I swear, I will rip him apart." She thought.

A red mark was placed on his cheek, as the guard stared again at Star.

 

"Why do you think we are gathering this fruit?! We know about the eruption! We are planning all of this out! We need this pony to collect it, but he refuses to cooperate!"

 

At that moment, another guard comes behind Somber and complains about the same ordeal, hitting him with his whip. Except this time, there was more than the cracking of his whip. It was also his wing...
