"I never stopped considering you. I thought I'd lost you, scared you away," Rose says in a tiny voice. "We needed you, I needed you, and you were just going to leave us. And I wasn't strong enough to jump in and save anypony again." She sobbed into Stacy's shoulder. "Why would you even think about doing that?"

[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

Star stood in silence. "I forgot the flowers back at Somber's hut... I will be right back." She said, Quietly turning around and walking back to. "Oh no... I said Sombers house... Hopefully they didn't notice." She thought, Picking up her pace a little bit. 

After a couple minutes of walking, Star trotted into Sombers hut and grabbed her bag then started trotting back to Rose and Stacy.

[Marathon 562]

Stacy didnt answer rose's last question because she didnt really know why. She wasnt sure if she would know besides the fact she wanted to know what it was like drown. But why she wanted to know she couldnt answer that. "Im sorry that i tried." She pulled the herbs from under her mane again and showed then to rose. "I was going to use these to try again, but......i dont know if i can. Im not sure if i want to anymore." She looked into rose's eyes and saw the pain she had caused her. "Im sorry i did that you. Im sorry for all the pain i caused. Its all my fault, even the scars you gave me were my fault." Stacy began to cry herself unable to fight them back.

Rose gave a small laugh upon sighting the herbs, although it might have sounded more like a sob. "Those are... remedial herbs. They wouldn't have done anything worse than give you mild indigestion." Rose couldn't help herself. She started giggling. The absurdity of the situation was immense.

 

After several moments, she took a deep breath, and, calming down, said, "Those marks shouldn't be permanent, you know. Why don't you come to the hot springs with us? They might help you get rid of them. And..." She looked over her shoulder at Stacy, as she went to go see what was taking Star so long, "did I ever say I blamed you for any of this?"

[Marathon 562]

Stacy couldnt help but laugh with rose. She couldnt believe just how over dramatic she was. Then rose talked about getting rid of the marks on her body and stacy stopped laughing. She glanced down at them and then back up at rose. "I...i dont want to get rid of them. I want to keep them, as a reminder. You saved my life by giving me these." She then paused and cracked a smile. "But ill still come with you guys, i just wont get in." She then followed rose to find star. "No you didnt but, i feel like i caused alot of it."

[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

Star trotted back over to Rose and Stacy who both looked pretty happy. "Hi guys." She said, Cheerfully. "Greenleaf said the springs were just a little ways into the forest." She smiled and trotted off into the jungle.

 

 

After a few minutes of walking they came across a small clearing with several large steaming pools. 

Star took out the flowers the dropped a few of them into one of the smaller pool's and mixed them around a bit.

Oak/Somber was standing inside his hut, looking out the opening of his window. He stared into the jungle trees, listening to the noises of the jungle. He sighs.

 

What was he to do if Star would blab about his identity? How would the other friends react? He needed to get his mind off things... He needs a dip in the springs.

 

He took off from his hut as he approached the springs, a waterfall streaming close to the other springs. Oak/Somber stepped into the water, dipping his head into the water, washing out the black and white paint from his body. He was hoping no pony could see him...

[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

(OOC: So, I know I shouldn't do this but I am going to post agian, I am going to bed and it is super late so I hope no one minds.)

 

After waiting a couple minutes, The flowers changed the small hot spring a slight blueish color, Star slowly took the bandages off her wing and climbed in.

As she sat down on a small ledge in the pool she looked around at the other hot springs and saw Somber climbing into one. "Oh dear... Should I say something or just... Um... Ok." Star waved at Somber, trying to get him to notice Her Stacy and Rose but made sure that Stacy and Rose Weren't looking when she waved.

As Oak/Somber settled into the spring, already Star spotted him. He was about to wave to her, but notices that two other ponies were with her.

 

He quickly jumped up and flew behind the waterfall, only showing a silhouette of his figure behind the rushing water.

"That water looks like it'll do wonders." Rose said. She couldn't help admiring it. "I wonder what's in these flowers." She climbed down into the water after Star, easing her slightly swollen leg in. "Are you sure you don't want to join us, Stacy?" She looked up at her.

Stacy noded her head but instead went to the edge of the spring and layed down next to it allowing the heat to reach her body. "This feels really good, i would join you guys but im fine right here." She smiled at star and rose then laid her head to go back to sleep.

As Oak/Somber finished cleaning himself from all of the excess paint and dirt, he got out from the springs, grabbing a cloth. He started to dry himself off of the dripping water, but suddenly the rock to which he was standing on became slippery. He fell back into the spring, causing a large splash sound, his cloth flying in the air.

(OOC: if you cant tell, Bright Sparks fedore can change colour dependant on his mood.)

As Brigth Spark walked back to the village, he decided to pick some fruit. if he was going to stay on this island he might as well help out the locals. he got himself as much as he could levitate, and returned to the village. when he got there, he went into the chiefs hut, and placed them in the nearby basket, before finally having a walk around.

From seemingly nowhere, a black cloth flew in the air and landed in the middle of Rose and Star's chosen pool, splashing them both. "What the-" Craning her neck, Rose saw somepony falling into the spring at the base of the waterfall. "What's going on over there?"

[Marathon 562]

Stacy was hit by the hot water and she jumped up soaking wet. "What the buck?!" She franticly looked around to who splashed her but could find no one but a confused looking rose and star. "What the buck was that?" She said with her anger showing. She was breathing heavily from being scared half to death.

[Undyne 1,483]

Somber slowly climbs out of the spring, his wing showing a bit of a bruise. He looked to see that the trio on the other side was wondering what had happened. Somber starts to slowly move out of the view of them, hoping that he could get through without bring spotted.

Moonbeam awoke in a daze. She inquired where her friends had gone, and she decided to join them at the hot spring. She was still a little groggy, but she still managed to skip through the forest happily. On her way, however, she spied something quite peculiar.

 

"Somber?" she exclaimed, surprised to see him alive. Star would be so happy!

[Windy Scamper 403]

Scamps woke up and saw that Star was gone. She looked outside and noticed that a LOT of ponies were gone. 'I wonder where they are,' she thought.

 

She looked at the still-asleep Airy and sighed again. "Please wake up soon. I'm scared that you won't. I can't lose you," she said.

 

Scamps then walked over to Greenleaf. "Um, I had this crazy idea in my head, but first, I need to know this; how good of a doctor are you?"

Rose gazed curiously across the hot springs. She saw Moonbeam running up, and talking enthusiastically to somepony who must be swimming in the pool at the base of the waterfall. Rose couldn't see, and she didn't want to get out of the water to check. She did, however, see the top of this somepony's head. "Is that... No. It couldn't be."

Somber's ears perked up to the sound of his name, looking to see who it was: Moonbeam. Buck....

 

He jumped out of the hot springs, running back into the brush, heading to his hut. No one was supposed to know about this... Only Star, and that was it. He didn't need for more ponies to recognize him...

"Wait!" Moonbeam called, running after him. "Somber, is that you? Star really misses you. We all thought you were gone." she continued to dash after him, wondering why he had fled. Finally, this mysterious pony ran into a hut by the village. Moonveam had seen it before. It was Oak Branch's hut...

As Bright Spark walked around the village, he noticed a pony sneaking to their hut thing. It didnt look like a zebra, it looked more like...

"arnt you that guy whos going out with star? somber i believe?" he shrugged at the idea of him bieng alive and walked on.

Stacy shook herself off but was still pretty wet. "You know what, screw it, im getting in." She said stepping into the hot spring next to rose. The water was really hot but she adjusted to quickly, so she again closed her eyes to go back to sleep. *I hope it dont get splashed on again.* she thought jokingly to herself.

[Undyne 1,483]

Once Somber had entered his hut, he quickly smudged paint onto himself, making a crudely striped zebra persona of him. 

 

"No, no NO! I hate this... This is the worst situation that I have been in ever... Maybe it WAS a bad idea to go on that boat... Now, not only does Star know, Moonbeam knows too! *sighs* I can't come clean with them without some of them trying their best to break me out, which will upset the chief... If I do something, then they'll try to protect me and THEY'LL get the worst of it... Buck."

 

He laid back onto his hammock. "What do I do now?"

Moonbeam knocked on the door three times. There was no way he could ignore her. She had seen him run inside. Something was fishy, and it wasn't just because they were on an island. If this was Somber, he was hiding something, and he didn't want any of them to find out who he was. She would get to the bottom of this soon enough.
