I think this one is a bit better than your RD, but my love of Applejack could make me biased. I love her cute winky face and the design of her boots. Shoes are hard to draw - I usually fail when I try to draw them, but you're pretty good at it

yes indeed nice job on the boots.  im not usually a fan of anime style, but she is cute.  my biggest complaint is only her weight distribution.  i think the...her /left/ leg (had to think har har) is whats throwing it off.  if her weight is on both legs its fine, just lengthen that one a little.

 

atm it looks like shes lifting it or in mid stride, in which case her hips would shift and the side carrying the weight would be higher...but that would make her shoulders off.  sorry im getting technical.    the shoulders slant the opposite direction of the hips. if the weight is on the right foot, the right hip is upwards a bit, and the left shoulder would be up, with the right shoulder lowered.  /  \         \  /

Thank you for your kind words I prefer Rainbow Dash over Applejack and the others, I think she's just that bit cooler... About 20% cooler.

This looks better proportioned then the RD one.  Though the face looks a little smudgy everything else looks great.  Nice job.

So Far I like where you are going with your art. The only thing that bugs me a bit is that hand on the right, though I do wish you could get scans of your work. What kind of camera are you using? I mite be able to give you some tips on getting better pics.

I'm using the one on my iPod... I haven't figured out why my scanner isn't being detected by my laptop. I've been trying for a few weeks now.

Looks nice.  Little hard to see but nice none the less.  The hat looks a bit weird but I can see you capture a human form of her well.

Get as much light as you can on the paper, make shere that your phone is level with the paper, try taking one with and with out the flash, do not use the zoom on the iPhone, well don't use the zoom on most smart phone it is just scaling up of the image not really zooming in.

 

Well there are some general tips that should help improve getting a good quality pic of your work. Oh, so you plug in your scanner and nothing happen? Dose the scanner even react when you plug it in? Just curious.

It's an iPod 4th gen so it doesn't have flash or zoom. I have several printers, a photocopier and a scanner , they're all wireless and my laptop doesn't pick up any of them.

Ah, wireless printers, photocopiers and a scanners usually need the drivers installed first before they can be seen on your computer especially on older Hardware, that and try setting the scanners IP to a static one so it has the same one all the time. iPod 4G has a terrible camera you will need lots of light. Do you have any desk lamps? Those can be good for getting light right over the paper and make it bright enough for the iPod to get a decent picture.
 
Here is an example I just took my self with my iPod 4G. I did this by holding it really close to the lamp at a slight angle to avoid glare.

My mum uses them all quite often so I don't think that's the issue. I can't look at any of them to see because my mum has blocked entry to them with the chair she has to move to make room for the Christmas tree.

This is a lot better than most of the "human Applejack's" that I have seen. Well drawn.

 

To me though, it's funny how when you turn a human character into a pony it's magically awesome, yet when you turn a pony character into a human my reaction is a childish "NoOo."

If there was anything to react over like that then it's Alicorn OC's, Gak ponies, Twilight ponies and Justin Bieber pony (I actually found that). You have to love The Hoofspring though, ponified version of The Offspring is legendary.
