Dusk was stunned by the beautiful peice of artwork in front of him.  That's amazing, better than I thought it would be!  The details on the flame are really cool...  No wonder she has things that are at the museum.  "Wow...  That's amazing!  I wish I was as talented as you!  Is it finished?"

Sky Warden ordered some some sandwiches when the waiter delivered their tea. "Ah...Come, have a drink" He said to Star Light as he grabbed his glass and took a sip. He looked at Star Light above his glass and rose an eyebrow when he found that she didn't reply. "She didn't reply. Think Sky...think, right".

"So...I heard you moved to Manhettan, how was it?" He said with a smile and took another sip.

Rockshire couldn't help but blush again. She needed to stop that, it was starting to get old for her.

 

"Thanks, and yes, it is completely finished. Only took about... an hour? Maybe two? These aren't very difficult to carve and shape. It's like foal's play mostly."

"Only two hours! That's really quick!  You know, if I was a uni---a unicorn with as much skill as you, I'd be famous...  Are you very well known throughout Canterlot?  I'd imagine you would be, with that kind of talent."  That was close...  That would've been really awkward had I said 'If I was a unicorn, i wouldn't have as much skill as you in anything as you have in making sculptures'...  But my excitement can be a viable excuse for stuttering.

"Oh..." Angel blushed and lowered her head so that her mane tumbled down to cover her face.  Go ahead and ask, Angel, she told herself.  Don't think you'll go up to somepony...  "I...I was actually hoping somepony could...could point me in the direction of...of the grocery store..." she said softly in her voice which had a twinge of formal in it.

The bird grabbed the plate and put it in the sink like he did with Arcane's plate, and then returned to his cage. "See? Easy, now how about we get some work done? If we finish sooner we can get to doing other things" he said and started to walk towards his study, motioning for Diamond to follow.

 

Quip was a bit surprised that a pony in ponyville didn't even know where to get food. "There should be a market in the east south east area of ponyville, its not that hard to find actually. Want me to bring you there? Its not far from here" he said while holding his hoof out to her.

"Oh dear... This better be easy." She thought, Standing up and following him into the study. "Luckily I was taught a few things about ponies and what they learn before I left... I hope its not to difficult." She trotted into the study and glanced at what was on the desk.

"Oh," she said, looking at his hoof.  I can't really say no.  And I should really be trying to make some friends instead of just sitting around trying to write.  "Okay then," she said, placing her snow white hoof into his.  This will be okay, she reassured herself.  I'm sure the ponies here aren't like the ones over in Canterlot.

Arcane smiled and levitated over a few notes, "Since I was researching popcorn, I thought I would go to the extra effort to learn more about heat magic. There are multiple spells to do heat, most include fire. I only know how to do three, aura heat, set heat, and fire. But I'm hoping to learn more. When I was younger, a wrote a rather large book of made up spells, but I never thought to include very many heat spells." he wrote down a few things before opening his window and levitating in a rock. "Basic heat spells are easy, set heat allows you to infuse an object so it emanates heat to nearby things." He touched the rock to his horn and infused it, soon it began to glow a slight orange and felt rather warm. He put it on the desk and motioned for her to touch it.

 

Quip smiled and lead her towards the market, "What's your name? Mine's Quip" he stated, hopefully he could get some info out of this mare, she looked smart.

"Not a whole lot. Occasionally, there's a few ponies here and there that request advice from me. It does get hectic sometimes. Another reason why I came here.", Rockshire said, walking over to the couch and sitting down.

 

"Why don't you sit with me? I enjoy your company."

"Of course."  Dusk went over and sat next to her.  "So when exactly did you start liking me earlier?"  He smiled at her.  He was sitting kinda close to her.  I hope I'm not sitting too close to her...  I don't want her to feel awkward...  Or maybe she just doesn't mind me being so close?.

"Oh, I'm Angel Feather," Angel said, blushing softly, looking towards the market.  Well, certainly not like Canterlot.  More quaint I guess.  Don't know if they have everything Canterlot has, but I'm sure they have most of it.  Angel tilted her head slowly at the market.

"Uh... It was when I tripped over you, to be honest. Probably from just one look at you, you were pretty cute. And once I got to know you, I kept getting more and more feelings of you."

 

Rockshire scooted a bit closer to Spirit, they were nearly touching.

 

"When did you like me?"

No wonder I was able to get up so easily... There was that little bit of energyfrom her liking me at that moment that helped me get up as easily as if I simply slipped.  "Well, I started liking you the moment I realized you liked me.  Which was about the time you were saying it's your fault for tripping, so basically the same time."  He smiled at her and moved his hoof to touch her's.

Rockshire didn't show a bad reaction when her hoof was touched. Her hoof had went up more to Spirit's arm, then putting it around his neck. Her smile was starting to grow.

 

Gah... I don't know... Should I? I'm sure he wouldn't mind...

 

She decided, moving closer to him, until she put his lips against his, closing her eyes.

So much energy... I feel so amazing, and stronger.  Dusk kissed back softly at first, then more passionately.  He brought both forelegs around her now into a hug and played with her mane a little.  "Have I told you that you are quite pretty too?"  He smiled and kissed her again.

Rocksihre opened her eyes after that kiss, looking directly at Spirit, her own eyes gleaming. "I'm pretty sure that being 'cute' and 'pretty' are both the same thing, but... No, not at all...', she softly said as her own forehooves went around his back, as she put more passion into the kiss.

"Oh well silly me I thought there was a difference." He playfully nipped her ear and kissed her again, making the kiss last longer this time.  "How long have you wanted to kiss me?"  I bet she really liked when I nipped her ear.  He pulled her in a little closer to him.

Diamond reached over and touched the rock. "How cool." She smiled. "That's... That's amazing, I wish I was taught to properly use magic when I was younger." She picked up the rock and held it against her cheek. "Can you teach me ?" She asked, her smile widening, as she placed the glowing stone onto the desk.

Arcane smiled and nodded, "I made a page about it, but its easier to learn from a living source" he put the notes down and stood up. "Heat isn't done by forcing it, let your magic flow and fly freely as you think about what you are trying to do, relax and don't strain yourself" he demonstrated by using his hoof, he touched his horn to his hoof and it started to glow slightly. He put his hoof on Diamonds shoulder to show her it was now also warm. "Now you try it, but remember, you're not trying to put heat on it. You're trying to make it give off heat"

 

Quip smiled and looked over at Angel Feather, "Well its a pleasure to meet you Angel Feather. I'm guessing you're not from here if you don't know about the market. So where did you travel from and why are you in ponyville?" he said, trying to seem nice. He had trouble passing through the crowds that swarmed the market on Wednesday's.

Angel Feather gave a small smile back.  "Oh...well, I was originally from Canterlot," she said, softly, almost embarrassed.  "I've just finished my studies really...so I decided to find a quiet place to work," she said.  Angel swerved through the crowd awkwardly but with swift movements.  No wonder Canterlot hasn't got a market.  It would be so crowded.

Rockshire grinned a bit from Spirit's question.

 

"Oh, I guess you could say...", she said, with a bit of seduction in her tone. She rubbed his cheek a little.

 

"A while."

 

She continued to kiss him, heading right down to his neck, breathing and kissing, with a bit of a moan added.

I havent fed like this in a long while.  Dusk started kissing more passionately and started pushing her back until he was over her and continued kissing.  "I like how energetic you are today."  He winked at her as he said this.  I really hope you say it soon...  Please say you love me.

"You know... You're a really good kisser. You really have turned me on in the past few minutes...", Rockshire softly spoke, as her hooves were around Spirit's neck, rubbing his neck and the upper spine area.

 

*Wait... What if he loves me? Would I... Love him back? I know what I do love though... This.*

Diamond closed her horn started to glow and she reached up and touched it with her hoof. "Ow." She muttered, quickly pulling her hoof away and opening her eyes. "Its a little too hot." She giggled, blowing on her hoof. "Lemme just try again." She closed her eyes for the second time and slowly touched her horn to her hoof.

She stopped and smiled, Then touched Arcane's shoulder. "It worked."
