private Cloud Puff's Romantic House Party

Cello Opal trotted casually down the street, without a cello, something very new to her. She had decided to leave it at home instead of bringing it to the party. It would be more than awkward if she had decided to bring the giant thing along. She blew a string of hair that had gone astray back into it's place and finally saw the familiar house of Cloud Puff, and she quickened her pace and arrived at the house a minute later.

 

The door had been locked, as it looked like many of the ponies had arrived and they had assumed that was all. Cloud Puff knows I'm coming if I say I am, she thought before she reached in and rapped her hoof on the door.

" yeah shining armor heard about the house party and gave me the night of so here I am" as he took a sip of his punch " this punch is delicio, you should try some". Silver mane the sat on the couch and looked at all the party goers, and continued to drink his punch, " so how's life " he said to Ragnar trying to get the conversation rolling.

 

"Life's going well for me.  I've read more books as of late, such as The Encyclopedia of Pony History and the like, " Ragnar replied, "What's going on with you?".  

 

"It was nice to catch up with old friends," thought Ragnar.  

 

While Ragnar was having fun, he felt as if there was a hint of sadness building inside of him.  He was happy to talk to his friend, he really was.  But seeing the mares at the party left him feeling...empty.  His biggest flaw, his shyness, had taken its toll on Ragnar's life.  He could never talk with mares, as whenever he looked at them, he felt embarrassed.   "Perhaps this party can turn things around for me..." he pondered.

" I dont think I've read that one, nothing much same old same old, keep an eye out for danger, eat a sandwitch keep guard that sort of stuff, infact I think this is my first day of in 2 month" silver mane then saw Ragnar look at some mares and have a slight look of sadness, " I've got an idea, I know that your quite a shy one so I'll be your wing pony for tonight, let's find you a date".

"Oh... Um, Hi Its nice to meet you, I'm Arrow Leaf." She held out her hoof to shake Aces. *I'm happy I dont need to be the one to introduce myself first... I am not very good at that.* She thought, taking a small sip of her drink. *Wow... That's one good cup of punch.* She thought, Taking another sip.

Ace shook it gladly "your not that shy are you? Or am I just to straight forwards" both Ace your both forward and she is probly shy. Ace took a sip of the punch as he continued talking to Arrow "so how do you know Cloud? Siblin, cousin, friend...or more?" Ace siad giggling slightly.

Somber couldn't handle being in this room anymore. He got out from under the bed, and dashed out of the room to another dark room, downstairs. He had to barrel past some ponies in the process but he didn't care. He opened a door and found a closet. Perfect. He locked himself inside there, hiding underneath a heaving pile of clothes.

 

I hate this bet...

Ace shook it gladly "your not that shy are you? Or am I just to straight forwards" both Ace your both forward and she is probly shy. Ace took a sip of the punch as he continued talking to Arrow "so how do you know Cloud? Siblin, cousin, friend...or more?" Ace siad giggling slightly.

"Um... Yea, I am very shy." She giggled then said. "Cloud and I have known each other for six years... We're just friends." She smiled, Starting to feel a little less shy now that she has introduced herself. "How about you ? How do you and Cloud know each other ?" She asked.

Silver mane then saw the same pony as before race down stairs and in to a closet " ok I think he's a bit wierd" he thought to himself finishing his punch and turing back to Ragnar " I noticed cloud puff is free, if you want to go talk to her, she seems nice and sort of cute".

Sky teleported to the outside of Cloud puff's house and knocked on the door. "Hopefully tonight will be pretty fun... And even if it's not, at least I'm not throwing it." Sky said to himself as he waited patiently for somepony to come over and open the door for him.

Ragnar solemnly agreed.  She did seem very nice, and was the one who had invited him to this party after all.  "I'd suppose you're right, she does seem quite nice, " he stated, feeling his legs start to tremble.  Once he noticed his restlessness, he heard a knock on the door.  Covering up his nervousness, he decided to open the door before talking to Cloud Puff.  "Just be confident Ragnar.  Try to live up to your name, " he nervously thought to himself.  He trotted towards the door, and opened, letting the two ponies that were standing there to come inside.

Marisa, sadly, had forgotten something back at her house. She smiled as her parrot had decided to play dead. "Gareck, we both know this wont end well if you stay like that. Now if you want your food bowl filled, you need to say the magic words" she smiled as the bird rose from the dead and scurried to the edge of the cage. "Can i please has food?" the bird said in its own cute little way. "That's a good parrot!" she said and poured some food into the bowl. "Good, now i'm going back to the party. Be a good parrot while i'm gone" "Be a good pony while i'm here" it slightly mimicked.

 

Marisa laughed and headed back for the party, hopefully nothing extreme had happened... When Marisa arrived she noticed Sky and some other pony at the door. "Oh hey Sky. What happened to you when the cruise started? Arcane said you left to do something important, but didn't tell me the details. I would think you would plan ahead a cruise." When the door opened Marisa walked inside and turned back to Sky.

As Ragnar went to talk to cloud puff silver mane then looked around for sompony to talk to he noticed to other ponys enter sky and cello opal without her cello, so he went over to the table picked up some punch and went over " how are you, I'm silver mane, want some punch" as he lifted the punch glass.

"Hmmmm, I don't really remeber who we met, sorry but my memory is not the best in Equestria sadly." Ace said scratching the back of his head nervevsly. Isin't that embarriesien that you know CLoud yet you can't remeber how you met her, she will be happy to know that.

Evergreen slunk over to the front door sulkily, and knocked three times. Down the street, a greyish mare with a startlingly red mane and short tail had been watching her, making sure she had entered the house. Rag Gemini, Evergreen thought, insists on meddling in my life, doesn't she? I'm happy enough to spend my time alone. Why does she make me go to these things? They're always a waste of time...

Cloud zoned out for a minute, not noticing somepony had knocked. After a few minutes, she came back to her senses. "Crap..." She muttered, when she saw Marisa answering the door for her. Trotting quickly up to Sky and Marisa, Cloud apologized. "I'm sorry, I... Was helping somepony with something. Hello, Sky! I thought you and Krystal were coming as a couple?" She suggested lightly, anticipating his response, as if he said something about a breakup, Cloud would jump on her chance.

There were more ponies entering, it would seem. Somber continued to lay there, not being seen by anyone...

 

...until something started to tickle his nose. He couldn't handle that feeling anymore.

 

"Ah-CHOO!"

 

He quickly covered his mouth, and hid back into the clothes.

I am going to go fill up my punch." She said, turning around and pouring some more punch into her cup. *That was kinda close... I need to know them for a year before I can trust them." She thought.

"Well...umm...We kinda broke up yesterday." Sky said thinking back to the argument Krystal and himself had had,.he then shudderd. "So anyway, tonight I am a single stallion." Sky smiled as he levitated a glass of the punch over to him and took a sip. "Wow, this is good stuff. When did you get so good at making drinks?" He asked Cloud Puff.

Evergreen decided to knock again, under the impression that nopony had heard the first one. When she knocked upon the door, it swung ajar. She facehoofed. It had been unlocked the whole time! Clearly she was supposed to let herself in. She glanced over at Rag, who flicked her short tail irritably. "Just go inside already!" Evergreen bowed her head, accepting the inevitable, and entered the house.

 

She stood on the doormat awkwardly. The house was already full of ponies. She was suddenly glad that Rag had demanded she clean up before she came; she would not be recognised as 'that crazy mare who talks to plants'. Her mane, instead of the usual drab tangle, was a rich, shiny, wavy forest green, with streaks of lime. Her coat, instead of the usual juicy yellow, was a shimmering pale gold. She actually looked good for once.

Cello Opal entered and took in her surroundings. It was a big house, the most noticeable thing about it, so it was hard to take much in. She trotted up to a mare with a rare golden coat that seemed to shimmer in the light. "You just get here too? I just don't know where to go!"

Now there was even more ponies there... Why did he take that stupid bet? He knew he would have lost... Now he has to survive being in here for the entire night.

 

Somber looked through the small shutters of the door, seeing a pony with a golden coat.

 

"Wow... She's really pretty... I bet she would be taken in a second."

 

Somber couldn't help but sneeze again, this time louder since he was near the door.

Arrow's eyes widened as she turned around to face Ace "I never said seventy... I said... Seventeen... When did I say Seventy ?" She sipped her punch. "This is really tasty punch isn't it, I gotta ask Cloud Puff how she made it." She said, trying to change the subject around..

Evergreen smiled faintly. "I'm just as lost as you are." She spoke in quite a soft voice, and shied away slightly from this new pony. Evergreen had an unfortunate tendency to shy away from meeting somepony new. It was exactly that that made Rag try so hard to get her out to meet ponies. With that thought, she took a deep breath, as if steeling herself, and held out a timid hoof. "I'm Evergreen. But everypony calls me Eve. Who are you?"

Krystal was busy moving all of her things from Sky's apartment back to Martin's place. It wasn't until she was finished that she realized that she was already late to the party. She considered not going but moping around her cousin's place wasn't going to heal her heart any sooner. Besides, she didn't think that Sky was going to go without her anyway.

 

She flew from Martin's place to Cloud Puff's in no time and knocked on the door.

Cello Opal reached out with a soft hoof and grabbed Evergreen's, before shaking it. "My name is Cello Opal. Easy to tell I play the cello." Cello Opal turned a few degrees to reveal her cutie mark. "Are you a good friend of Cloud Puff? I met her in my prime years of playing cello. Now that I think of it, I'm still in my prime!" Her grin widened a smidgimeter.
