Arrow nodded. "Hop...I just met you, And well, There is just something that I told Eve...And it is private." She said, Staring down at the ground. "Eve and I have known each other for quite a few years now and...Well, I have only just trusted her with a rather large secret of mine."

Hop listened intensly as Arrow explained and at the end of it she nodded her head in understanding. "Alright..fair enough." Hop knew not to push for any information. Hops job meant holding secrets for ponies no matter what. Some of them she spent years building enough trust to be told some of those secrets. She knew secrets about some ponies, that if they ever got out, those ponies would kill themself on the spot. Though if Hop really wanted to she could probably figure out Arrows secret without her telling, but she wasnt like that. She respected others privacy to extend most would think impossible. Even if it didnt seem like it. "Mind if i join you guys going back?" She asked with hesitation.

Eve knew Hop wouldn't nose her way in to places her nose didn't belong, and she was thankful for it. Hop wasn't foolish, and knew how important secrets were to some ponies. Especially when the secret was as big as Arrow's...

 

"Of course you can walk back with us, Hop."

 

She still ignored the squirrel still clambering over her, and sneezed when it placed a few seeds on her muzzle.

Arrow felt relieved. She smiled and said. "Thank you for understanding, Hop." She was about to trot back to the dance area with Eve and Little Hop but that's when Zero dropped a few seeds on Eve's nose. Arrow looked back and saw Draco sitting by the bench. "Hey Draco...We're going back to the snack table...Wanna join us ?" She asked, Smiling.

Draco just followed silently as he looked at the two."Look Eve I may not be atunned to plants like you but I apologize alright" Draco said as he looked at Eve but he checked out Arrow's flank slightly. He hummed a slight song as he looked into the sky anfd sighed. "The stars are beautifull tonight. Of coure my dear lady,"

Hops mood brightened at Eves welcoming. She trotted along with the dou not realizing that Draco was with them until he spoke. Hop smiled, "Yeah they are. Me and Umbra cleared out all the clouds.." She then noticed the large one they had left. "Well, except for that one. Umbra prefers to sleep on clouds so we left that one for him. He was pretty tired after wards." Hop lied, hopping that the forest didnt some how know what happened in the clouds as well.

Eve muttered something unintelligable under her breath. Her tone was clearly not pleased and unforgiving. 

 

The squirrel prodded her a third time, and she shook it off, annoyed.

 

Hops mood brightened at Eves welcoming. She trotted along with the dou not realizing that Draco was with them until he spoke. Hop smiled, "Yeah they are. Me and Umbra cleared out all the clouds.." "Oh. You cleared it for us?" Eve looked at the sky, stars reflecting off of her eyes. "I don't know why there were clouds there in the first place. I scheduled a clear sky tonight with Cloudsdale. I even had my friend North come over to triple-check that it had been cleared properly."

"Yeah, well if theres one thing ive learned tonight is that clouds allow for a lot of fun to be had..." hop stopped realizing what she said could be taken the wrong way, even if it was something that she had been doing for the past hour or two. Her face turned bright red after her thought.

Percussive didn't know what to say at that point. He had watched Eve walk off, then he turned to Cloud.

 

"I... I can't believe it... Did we REALLY go too far to where it actually started to hurt the flora?", he asked her, gulping a little. What a kick to the face that would have been for Eve...

"Yeah, well if theres one thing ive learned tonight is that clouds allow for a lot of fun to be had..." hop stopped realizing what she said could be taken the wrong way, even if it was something that she had been doing for the past hour or two. Her face turned bright red after her thought.

Eve nodded, preferring to ignore how the way Hop said it implied she almost killed parts of her garden too. They turned a corner, and returned to the Prancing Garden.

 

"Hey, Arrow. Do you want to tend to the hedge maze at some point tonight?" She asked quietly, so only Arrow could hear her. "The plants don't seem to find me as persuasive as they find you. Must be because you're new."

 

"I could help him if he's helping, I mean, I really feel bad for your garden and all..." Leaf Orange said to both Style and Evergreen. Then, an leaf seemingly tickled the backside of his neck, he felt... generous... "Also do you know somepony named Firecracker?" he suddenly said.

 

(OOC: trying to refer to the S.S Romantic)

Arriving in the Garden, Eve made her way to Leaf, who was still standing there. She felt bad... She had just walked away from him... "I'm sorry I ran off on you," she said in a tiny voice, as if scared he wouldn't be very happy with her. "I think you asked about Firecracker? I don't know him well, but..." She trailed away, mind racing back to unhappy memories of that cruise again.

Arrow giggled and nodded. "I can do that right now, Eve." She smiled and looked back at Draco. *Was he just ? Oh that cheeky cheeky feather ball.* She thought. "Um...Draco, I am going to go over to the hedge maze...You are welcome to come, But I will be doing exactly what I did bef-" She stopped talking, Only just remembering that Hop was there. *Buck.* She thought.

 

(OOC: The funny thing is...I was just about to finish Arrow's last sentence when I remembered that Hop didn't know...So I just kinda went with it.)

Leaf Orange had immediately snapped out from another daydream of his, after he heard Evergreen's voice. "No biggie, It was my fault, I was just- ummmm... daydreaming... yea, that's exactly what happened!" he said in response, panicky. "So, what just happened...?" Leaf said as innocently as possible.

Hop made her way to the snack table, and her curiousity spiked upon hearing what Arrow almost said. Then she heard "Firecracker" come out of Eves mouth, which in turn made her remember about Stacy and Eve. They still havent talked and she needed then to. Could Eve possibly do it tonight? Hop made her way over to Eve to ask. "Eve, i have a favor i need to ask you. Sorry for inturepting your conversation but this is important."

Percussive didn't know what to say at that point. He had watched Eve walk off, then he turned to Cloud.

 

"I... I can't believe it... Did we REALLY go too far to where it actually started to hurt the flora?", he asked her, gulping a little. What a kick to the face that would have been for Eve...

"I-I guess... I honestly wasn't expecting that to happen. I didn't realize the garden was so.. Sensitive." Cloud muttered quietly, her voice thick with shame. "What we did might not have been the best idea." Looking Percussive in the eye, she suggested finishing finding the way out of there.

Eve inclined her head, thankfully, toward Arrowleaf as she turned back to Leaf. He seemed flustered, coming up with excuses out of nowhere. She hadn't even confronted him about anything. He had confronted himself. She was about to ask him what he had daydreamed about when she was interrupted by Hop. She sighed exasperatedly, and looked at the mare. She knew she wouldn't interrupt if it wasn't truly important. "Ask away," Eve told her.

"That's okay, Cussie. I rushed, too. I should have said no. But what's done is done, and we can't go back. We can offer to help fix the garden, though." Cloud met Percussive's gaze. "Hug?" She murmured, and held out her 'arms'.

Percussive smiled back at Cloud, nodding as they both hugged. He looked around, trying to see if the flora would spawn again. Sure enough, it was, but very slowly. He whispered into Cloud's ear.

"Hey, I think it's working!"

Cloud was slowly coming up with a short recovery plan for the plants in her head- she had always been good with plants. If a pony could have two special talents, her second one would be botany.

Arrow quickly trotted off to the hedge maze, She trotted past Cloud and Percussive with a small nod then she walked deep into the maze where the hedges had started losing their color and drooping.

She put her hoof to a spot on the hedge and it went back to normal...But when she bought her hoof away it started drooping again.

So Arrow sat down with her back to the hedge. She closed her eyes and relaxed.

Hop hesitated almost wondering if Eve would reject, but she had to try. "I...i think its time you and Stacy got reaquainted. If you think after the party you could come with me and talk to her. If not hopefuly tomorrow." Hop prepared herself for either a over reaction, her accepting, or just a simple no.

"Zero just show her the crystal rose seeds already sheesh," Draco said as he squirrell friend looked at Draco with a what do you think I'm trying to do. He rolled his eyes "Yeah yeah yeah I know that your trying sheesh. Now I'm talking to a squirrell" Draco said to Arrow "Yeah I'm going nuts," He flew after Arrow almost like a lost puppy.

Eve nodded, slowly. "I think it's been far too long. I miss her. I think I should come with you to see her, yes." She smiled at Hop, before turning back to Leaf Orange. "So... Sorry about that. We figured out a way to fix the plants faster!" She sounded excited about it. "So... What were you thinking about?" She asked so very innocently...

Hop smiled then turned to the snack table to grab a drink. The punch was spiked no doubt about that, Hop could smell the alcohol coming right off it. Instead she got a glass of water and sat down to ponder how this chat might end out. About a month ago Stacy had started practicing hiding her emotions. And this worried Hop because Stacy had become so good at hiding them, Hop started to become unsure of how Stacy was feeling. She couldnt read her anymore. And up until recently has she perfected it. The only clues Hop gets now are slight involuntary changes, like her ear flicking or the way she gazed at ponies. But those didnt give out how she was actually feeling, just that she was in fact hiding any emotions she didnt want let out. Stacy effectively made it near impossible to understand her now, but only if she wanted it that way. And if Stacy decided to hide her emotions the whole thing could quickly go bad. Hop had no way of telling how this confrontation would end, but she prayed for the best. It was all she could do.
