Maxos's very first artwork

Hello everypony! Last night I just was working on my first piece of art ever, and I was half way through my intentional goal when I realized that I had AppleJack, my Favorited pony out of the mane six, hugging my OC pony! Since its my first time, I figured its good enough, besides the fact that my OC pony looks like a mare in body shape instead of a stallion. But who cares! Very first time XD

Edit: The software I used was GIMP 2. A free software, no trials, full version. And yes I did indeed make this. The background isn't mine. But the pony on the left is what I worked with. I pasted Apple jack in there too. Twilight was my template for Maxos.

 

I guess if you look at my profile you'll see I made a background just for my Youtube channel and MLP forums profile. I learned how to control GIMP through that I guess. But this picture I made is the first pony I ever did. Its a lot simpler to make backgrounds when you understand your limits on sites.

Darn.. How you did this in your first artwork is pretty flipping astounding.. I mean have you ever seen my first artwork?

 

Lets just say... Its was bad .

Here I'll edit the OP post with the info that you could possible want. And thanks! I am actually as surprised as you guys when I made this. I use several different pictures to make this, but that's like the background, just a simple copy and past But my pony was the hardest part! and the actual work of art of mine.
