Don't get me started. You're bound to disagree with me anyway, so there's no point in arguing. Suffice to say they rub me the wrong way for a variety of reasons.

 

If I may just jump in for a second, has it not come to anyones attention that Red managed to put out greek fire without saying exactly how? 

I know i've not been keeping up with this RP, and it may have been decided that the greek fire can be put out easily but...

 

Just throwing that in there. 

Yeah, I've kind of given up on him. If it becomes enough of a problem, I might have to kick him out.

 

 

I will make my first post about Diamond waiting in Casaflanka (Or whatever its called) Everyone on the Arbitrator...Get da boat to Casaflanka, Your new captain is impatient and wants to meet her crew.

 

I don't think there's anyone left who's actually on the Arbitrator. Marathon is floating out in the ocean somewhere and Opalicious hasn't really specified. It was pretty close to Casaflanka anyway, so you can just skip to when it arrived.

Red was a pirate on the Wasp before deserting and going to that island that Descant was on for a while. After not finding what he was looking for, he rowed to the Asylum and boarded the ship that was sank, in the process freeing Hypno and fighting Cascade, who he shot. After that, he got on the Asylum to stay away from the sharks, and fought Hypno and Slicer because they were going to kill him. After going on a romp through the Asylum's lower decks, he hopped ship in a lifeboat.

Oh, and he put out the Greek Fire because fak u tahts y.

I have no idea where Opalicious' OC Pirate Opal is supposed to be right now. Marathon is floating in the ocean somewhere, and Pirate Prince is planning on dropping out of the RP. That's everyone I can think of.

(Caution: Don't read this unless you're prepared for a long and rather evil sounding rant about how I act as a DM. I feel bad posting this at all, but I want to try and prevent future issues, and hopefully this will help. Also, note that as many times as I say that if you have a problem you should leave, I don't actually want people to leave. It's just that you should understand what you're signing up for.)

 

After the scoldings I've had to give Dolan, it occurs to me that you people may not fully understand how a DM truly works. As far as this RP is concerned, I am god. I have absolute authority, and if you have a problem with that, you should leave. Granted, I try my best to be a benevolent god, and I will take people's opinions into consideration, but if you push me I'm going to have to smite you. By joining this RP, you have agreed that I am allowed to do this, and again, if you have a problem with it, you should leave. Those of you who do not believe this is how a DM is supposed to act are spoiled. There are few, if any, true DMs on this site, and indeed, not very many people anywhere who truly understand the role of a DM and are willing and able to do it properly.

 

Now, having said that, what governs my decisions is what I believe is best for everyone and for the RP in general, hence the benevolent god thing. I don't want to have to put my foot down on things, I would much rather avoid it, but sometimes it is necessary to ensure that things run well. I want to help you, I want for you to enjoy yourselves. That is, after all, the whole point. But if I tell you not to do something, you'd better listen. I'll try to give you a fair chance, and I'll always give you a warning before actually kicking you out or punishing you in some way. The point is, please don't push me.

 

Apologies if this sounds cold or harsh, but I just want to try and avoid any issues in the future. Please understand that I try my best to give people as much freedom as I can, and that I just want you to enjoy yourselves.

As with Flame Dancer, you're free to do it as long as it's not too difficult or confusing for you. To clarify though, Enigma isn't the captain, Ponyworld is, and technically it's not one ship, but actually four small ships.

Flame Dancer just took over the Arbitrator, and he should be picking you up soon. It was kind of an issue finding where the ship was before, otherwise he'd have done it already.

I tried to quote your post in the RP thread but that didn't work out and I'm too lazy to go back and try again. Yes, traditionally this has been an RP where you're expected to wear clothes, although I never actually picture my OCs wearing clothes, so I'm not really worried about it.

 

Also, if anyone (mainly my crew) is wondering why I haven't posted in the RP for such a long time, it's because I'm in the uncomfortable position of having to wait for Minath (who can sometimes take up to a week due to lack of computer access) to respond to my last post. 

Like I said, I'd be happy to supply Moonstruck for somepony's crew. I'd rather not add Sunshine too; two's the limit.
